Guest Reviews
- Jocelyn (7/5): Pleasant stay. - The bathroom is of a decent size and well-appointed. Though part of Braidwood the rural setting means there is no road noise. The door is broken. The use of slatted chairs and table made writing difficult and the chairs are not comfortable. While I have no trouble driving on dirt roads I did get a gash in a tyre on my last night. Fortunately, there is a repair place on the road in and the tyre was able to be repaired very quickly.

- Marissa (10/5): A little slice of heaven in a magnificent part of the world - It’s like waking up in the middle of a country dream – total quiet, with the occasional moo (which was very welcome!). The tiny house was perfect for a solo traveller – the bed was cosy, the shower was beautiful, and the fresh produce waiting in the fridge was an absolute delight. Hot tip: don’t make your first trip there at night like I did! I managed to get lost even with the detailed instructions, but the hosts were incredible and answered my late-night distress call with zero fuss. Nothing to fault – everything was great. I’d just mention for future travellers that the road in is long and unsealed. I did some damage to my car and probably would have chosen a different vehicle if I’d known. The toilet also takes a little getting used to, but neither of these things would stop me from staying again – it’s honestly amazing.
- Alison (9/5): Relaxing, calm getaway - We loved our weekend away at our Tiny Away home in Braidwood, NSW. Our home was cozy, clean, well stocked with fresh milk, butter & essentials. As we were celebrating our pups @scoob_mood 4th Birthday this was made extra special by daily Rainbow sightings! Thank you Sonia & Charli! nil
- Rina (10/5): The perfect country get away - Stunning outlook, really peaceful, lush towels, has everything you need, super comfortable bed, loved the fire pit and the hosts are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet I probably should have read the text about the long drop toilet a bit better 😂 mainly because I’m precious
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bronwynm (10/5): Quiet, serene and cosy hideaway - Beautiful hideaway, quiet with spectacular views, fresh butter and milk in fridge from farm.
- Annette (9/5): Enjoyed our stay - Peaceful and cozy tiny house is a beautiful location.
- Elliot (9/5): Superb -
- Gael (5/5): Happy with host but not with building owners - Loved the location Sadly in need of maintenance. Nice a clean but tiny away need to fix faulty door and blinds plus replace torn flooring and do maintenance on building generally and little patio
- Lynne (1/5): No stay. - We couldn’t stay in the tiny house. It faced west with no shade and no ventilation. The air con didn’t work, so we told the caretaker and left. We were meant to stay 2 nights. I have co reacted tiny houses for compensation as we paid over $400. No response from them. I would not recommend a tiny house to anyone.
- Tracey (7/5): Tiny home with lovely rural vista - Lovely views of the paddocks down to the dam with a historic home in the background. Very peaceful setting. The smell of the composting toilet wafted in the bedroom window and you must shut the bathroom door for same reason
- Matthew (9/5): Highly recommend Tiny Away -
- Farmer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tammy (8/5): Very good - Incredibly quiet, peaceful setting. Views forever. Cute, historic town nearby. Shops and restaurants in town closed early.
- Stephanie (8/5): A very different experience to be in the middle of a paddock! - Comfy bed
Good showers
Beautiful views All good
- Meghan (10/5): Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing and would 10/20 recommend. - Loved how peaceful it is, there were cows and horses free roaming and made the experience so much more beautiful! Sonia was lovely, we had our own space , she brought us fresh milk, eggs and flowers for our stay and was happy to help with the any questions we had. Perfect for a weekend to relax and enjoy the serenity. At the end of our stay one of the staff was kind enough to bring us some food to feed the horses which was a great way to end our weekend! Nothing was perfect.
- Yaling (7/5): Good - We like the intimacy and privacy offerred by this unique experience. No key required as it is just very private where, except cow friends, no one would come uninvited. So less worry about locking yourswlves out. We love the organic eggs from Sonia, and milk! It's very kind of her offering farm products to her guests to add that extra bit of farm experience. The space and the septic toilet were something we need to psychologically adjust ourselves to 😅 For convenience we brought a large suitcase for 2 of us, only to find out for the space we have, it's most suitable to carry 2 small suitcases instead.
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional - The location, the farm was amazing. Sonia our host made our stay exceptional she was a delight. I will definitely be back again soon. Nothing
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Isobel (7/5): Good - Safe location and private Hygiene re surroundings - shearing shed - dog kennel etc
- Trish (8/5): A fun experience! - Farm Tiny was an experience to remember. I loved it! Lovely environment, great views. It was easy to find and the communication with our hosts was seamless.😊
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Brad (7/5): Beautiful property but no extras - The property is incredibly beautiful (the photos don’t do it justice) particularly in autumn. Cooking inside was challenging given the lack of space, with the microwave taking up most of the bench space (could go on a shelf). We wanted to cook outside on the bbq but there was no gas bottle, so I asked the host about it and she said rather grumpily that it’s too expensive to provide gas. In that case, the listing shouldn’t say there is a bbq. Was nice to get some farm fresh eggs, but 3 eggs for two people over 3 nights/4 days was a bit scarce.
- Leah (9/5): Superb -
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Tracy (9/5): Superb - The peace at the property is incredible, nothing to hear but the birds, the cows and the wind in the trees. It's perfect for a reset and recharge. A great bonus is that peace is so close to town you can grab dinner and be back to relaxing in no time
- Christin (10/5): Simply fabulous and would definitely stay again if I was visiting Braidwood - It was the perfect location for a weekend wedding at Mona Farm. The fridge was stocked with a few delicious items by the lovely host. The scenery was gorgeous and we loved being in the countryside. simply fabulous. I was disappointed that my original booking made in September was cancelled due to an issue with my credit card (still not sure why) and I had to rebook at a higher cost, despite my efforts to explain the situation. I had no option as I was attending a wedding and was relying on this accommodation.
- Elise (8/5): Very good - Super cute in a very private spot with beautiful views of the farm. Tiny house was very cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -

- Paul (10/5): the peace and quiet was amazing - the view couldn’t lock the door
- Paul (7/5): Good - basic but good facilities nearby town was interesting farm was also interesting no awning on veranda
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - the location was stunning and the property had everything we needed there was no key to lock the door (or at least we couldn’t find it), the smell from the toilet made us feel sick and the door wouldn’t open/close easily.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Vera (9/5): Great little hideaway - location - views, privacy and cows the chair and table are a bit ricketty

- Frances (8/5): Just what the Dr ordered - The location - rural but so close to town. Pet friendly. The bonus of being able to tour the historical homestead
- Gabriel (9/5): Superb -
- Heidi (9/5): great 'glamping' weekend away - great location, tiny but everything we need were available and it's really warm inside which helps a lot during winter and love the amenities available and the firepit. great nightsky view even from inside tiny (on the bed :) ) definitely recommended but do check for weather forecast. we managed to avoid the rainy night it was a bit wet ~muddy section right under the stairs to tiny, so muddy feet. if you have your pet with you, ensure that you'll clean them up near the front door before entering. if you like to cook, you'd probably want to bring your own equipment or use the BBQ and small stove.
