• van der Eijk (9/5): We had a perfect week at Villa Ivanino - The home owners are very kind, and easy to contact. The house has a swimming pool and is 1 minute walking away from a beautifull beach. You can very easy get a uber to go to Dubrovnik old town, or if you have an own car, parking space is next to the house. The swimming pool is not that big
• Christine (6/5): Lovely situation but needs an upgrade - The location is spot on. Right on a lovely beach. Elevated view. Accessible by bus and Uber (about €10 per trip). The pool is lovely and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The patio area was good, and the place was spacious enough for a family of 7. This was the second place we stayed in Dubrovnik, for 5 days each place. This meant we could compare. We paid the same amount for both places. Comparing both places, for the same money, this place is old and quite run down. The bathroom facilities are very dated and the shower on the main floor leaks water on the floor. In the kitchen the oven has the functions missing from the buttons, so it was hit and miss to guess the function. The place said it had air conditioning, but it’s only in the lounge and upstairs hallway - not the bedrooms. It was hard to cool the bedrooms down on hot nights. The owner came for 2 hours every morning to tend to the property, which is their prerogative, and anyone renting the place should be aware. It felt a little intrusive when we were trying to relax. In the first place we stayed the owner also attended, so this may be normal practice, but there it was only for 30 mins or so to sweep the patio and debris. The neighbours downstairs also informed us on the first day that the noise travels to their property, so we needed to be quiet. We weren’t noisy, but it did make us hyperventilate about any sort of noise, and we got the sense that this is common practice to inform guests as the neighbours were familiar with the hosts.
• Josh (8/5): Very good - The property has all of the facilities that a group needs. The pool and pool deck are wonderful and there is a cool little pebble beach just over the road. It is a bit further from old town than anticipated. There is a bus line but it doesn’t run weekends and the last bus back to Lozica is quite early (approx 4.30pm) This means you will spend money on taxis or Ubers but also means you have a super peaceful place to stay away from the throngs of tourists.

• Nora (10/5): Great place that was good value for money - would definitely recommend this property! - Vesna was very friendly and helpful, and despite a language barrier, her husband (who came to clean the pool in the mornings) was also lovely. We really enjoyed the pool and the proximity to a secluded beach, and appreciated that there were already some supplies available in the kitchen when we arrived. It was a great getaway for us - nice to be close enough to the city to go in whenever for food, activities, etc, but also a bit outside to enjoy some more calm. If you don't have a car, be prepared to uber to the grocery store! There's not one in walking distance. Vesna recommended a larger grocery store with better prices than the ones in the center, and we did a big shop at the start, so that worked out fine for us.

• Emma (9/5): Lovely hosts and fantastic house. - The hosts were friendly and so helpful. Excellent house for 12 of us. The view was beautiful. It is quite a distance from Dubrovnik old town and we spent a lot on Ubers and taxis but the pro is that Lozica is a quiet village so you can get away from the noise & hustle of the busier areas.
