- Emily (10/5): Beautiful accommodation in an exceptional location - The property’s location makes all the local shops and cafes so convenient to access. The original features are elegantly showcased and the decor compliments the property. Enjoy a wine on the balcony and watch the bustle on the Main Street.
The staff were exceptional and supported us to reschedule at the last minute due to bushfires. Absolutely brilliant service.
- Peter (9/5): Apart from lack of parking, highly recommended! There are stairs so be prepared to carry your bags up. Property has been - Location, location, location! Situated in the Main Street over a funky art gallery, right in the middle of town. Parking could be an issue. We were lucky enough to score a reasonably close spot in the Main Street.
- Iman (10/5): - Great location. Clean and comfortable accommodation

- Jan (8/5): - Great location and very clean and comfortable
- digney (10/5): Would stay again in a heartbeat. Fabulous position and so comfortable and warm. Would definatly stay again. - Location! Enormous high ceilings, spacious layout, effective winter heating, light, bright and spotlessly clean. Felt luxurious. Short stay for us (3nights) as much as we could handle with the stairs (we have knees and hips that play up). Otherwise, LOVED the elevated view of the street.
- Patrick (9/5): -

- Simonne (10/5): Leave the car & walk everywhere. We loved this apartment in the centre of the Main Street in Daylesford. Beautiful, - Beautifully appointed & spacious clean apartment right in the heart of Daylesford. We walked everywhere. Kitchen well stocked with staples & fridge a good size for buying all the delicacies known for that region. We would definitely stay here again. The advertisement for the property says it comes with parking but it’s street unlimited from 5.30pm or Coles car park behind. There are a lot of stairs to go up especially with bags & groceries.
- Tony (10/5): Excellent location and beautiful apartment -
- Boyle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siobhan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amber (10/5): A delightful stay with a beautiful outlook, clean and functional amenities. I would love to return - The location was wonderful, the accomodation was more spacious that indicated, the amenities were great. I feel like it would be great to also have a flyscreen security door at front door, one thats just lockable on the inside, being in a main street location.
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheridan (10/5): Exceptional - This accomodation is right in the heart of town. It was beautifully furnished and clean. We will definitely be booking in here again. Thanks for having us!

Beautifully decorated everything we needed Too many stairs
- Glenn (10/5): Wonderful 4 days in Daylesford staying at 1913 on Vincent. Great location , walk to shops , restaurants etc - Great location. Great modern apartment No blind on bathroom window and windows from the bakery can look in. My suggestion is buy window frosting paper from Bunnings for around $8.00 and apply with water to bottom window. Easy to solve issue
- Rosalie (10/5): Would highly recommend 1913 to anyone wanting to stay in Daylesford. Few stairs but they weren’t too bad. Would defin - Fantastic location, beautifully decorated. No wardrobe to hang clothes.
- David (10/5): Excellent accommodation. Perfect weekend away. - Beautiful clean and well appointed apartment in the middle of town. Walking distance to everything. A blind in the bathroom would be nice!
- Mardi (10/5): Excellent place to stay, would definitely recommend - Great location. Right on the main street.
Was much larger than I thought it would be.
- Shantelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (9/5): What more could you ask for! - Virtually everything! Great central location, in the heart of fine dining, shops and very pleasant walk to lake and other attractions. Beautiful artwork and decor, comfy and relaxing. Great private balcony for enjoying morning coffee or drinks at night. Very quiet and peaceful at night. I thought the off premises parking might be a problem but it just wasn’t, actually very convenient! The bathroom window overlooks neighbouring window, but doesn’t have a window covering. A little disconcerting! Maybe a little cafe curtain…
- Paris (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (10/5): What a beautiful property in the heart of Daylesford. - Brilliant location and classy property with fantastic amenities. Comfortable beds & couches. Loved it all but if stairs are an issue pack lightly.
- Warren (8/5): Great value in an excellent spot. - Refurbished well A fire would have been lovely
- Josephine (9/5): Superb - Excellent in everything except for the lack of railing for the front steps There was no guard rail on the steps leading up to the property my elderly sisters had a lots of trouble negotiating the steps
- Sonja (9/5): Superb -
- Giulia (9/5): 5 stars all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Spacious & luxurious.
- Vikki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Beautiful apartment -
- Dianne (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent Location & very comfortable bedding Needs some coat hangers maybe on back of bedroom doors as there is hanging space for clothes
- Salim (8/5): Awesome. - almost everything needs a curtain over bathroom window.
- Elsa (7/5): Good - Very clean. Beautifully decorated. Great location. Good provision in kitchen. Quiet. Comfortable beds It was cold. We did have a cold snap at minus 2, but did take time to warm the flat. No heating in hallway. WiFi was not great. No running water on morning of our 2nd day due to the drop in temp.
- Yibin (10/5): Amazing - Best spot in the town, large space for entire family, comport and modern decoration, worth every cents. None
- Leena (8/5): Lovely presentation+attention to detail. Shame about sensor & hosts' lack of knowledge & follow up. - Place was spacious and had lovely period features. Thought had clearly gone into providing many extras to makes guests comfortable. Beds were comfortable. We had a big issue with the sensor light in the hallway, for which there was no override switch. There were 2 of us occupying both bedrooms and second bedroom had no air conditioning and no opening windows. It was fairly warm when we were in Daylesford and because we had the bedroom doors open, if someone had to visit the bathroom at night, the other person was disturbed by the light.
We also had an issue with the hosts; they were largely unresponsive; even when they did respond, they didn't seem to know much about the actual property. (Administered by Daylesford Country Retreats.) Parking was a bit of an issue because of 2 hour limits at certain times. Also, the bathroom powerpoint was very difficult to locate. The instruction label was clearly wrong. We eventually found it under the drawer. Hosts were no help with these matters.
While all the living areas were very clean, some of the drawers and cupboards were not and needed a good spring clean.
- Mitchell (10/5): Exceptional - Exceeded expectations. The photos do not do it justice. The location is second to none. Park the car and walk everywhere. Watching the New Years parade through the centre of town, from our own private balcony. Perfection.
- Jenny (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (10/5): Great, modern, clean, spacious - Very clean and spacious
- Gloria (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lizzie (10/5): Fantastic weekend stay for a family with toddler - Space: really large dining area and living area. Love that living area is carpeted and the kitchen area is floorboard. We had a toddler with us so she can run around freely (the house is pretty well child proofed)
Location: very central. I can say it’s the prettiest building on the street as well. Love that while our daughter is asleep and we can monitor her on the phone, we can go downstairs and have our breakfast at Larder which is opposite the street 20m away.
Cleanliness: the place is kept spotless. Nothing really. I think it’s just personal preference.
Bed is slightly too soft for me.
There’s no wardrobe in either of the rooms
There’s no curtain in the shower room which makes me a bit self-conscious but I don’t think the opposite windows are occupied so technically no one will ever look this direction.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb - Location in main st is excellent. Close to walk to everything.
Property is very spacious and comfortable. Soft carpet. Warm heaters.
- Honor (9/5): Fabulous spacious apartment in the heart of Daylesford. - Beautifully styled apartment and so spacious!!! Fabulous location in the heart of Daylesford Cupboards are not that practical.
- Gabrielle (8/5): Very good - Great location- Handy to everything
- Josephine (7/5): Lovely. Beautiful home that felt like the hosts ran out of money when furnishing. - Location
Attractive Heating. Not enough. A gas fire in the fireplace would be a huge improvement in winter.
- Salim (8/5): Beat our expectations -
- Haruhi (9/5): Superb -
- Ilka (9/5): Fabulous! - We loved the location, the spaciousness, the facilities provided, the cleanliness, comfortability and the artwork! The only thing I can think of would be to to use the open fireplace but we understand why it’s not in use for guests.
- Helen (8/5): Beautiful apartment. Tastefully furnished. Perfect location in township. - location That there was no washing machine or dryer.
The entrance door needs a handle to pull/push it in order to close it more safely. I cut finger when I jammed it in the door. PowerPoint in bathroom a bit tricky!
- Kris (9/5): Superb -
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - the location was perfect the the property was beautiful having no allocated parking was frustrating
- Shani (9/5): Superb -
- Mae (9/5): Beautiful apartment, no neighbours. Will stay again. - Beautiful building, very central, location was unbeatable, very clean, very comfortable. It was great to see the main street and people watch from the balcony. No carpark spot was a bummer. Had to park on the street, and since it's so central most street parking around the area is only 2hrs during daylight hours.
- Susan (10/5): perfect.. will be back - fabulous position and beautifully furnished loved everything but a gas fire would make it perfect!
