Guest Reviews
- Royden (8/5): Great family stay in a lovely location - Very tranquil, clean and welcoming Bathroom has shower over bath - it is OK, but not ideal
- Yancong (8/5): -
- Denise and Kim (7/5): Spacious house in a good location in Daylesford. - The Views Cottage is in a good location - only a short drive into the centre of Daylesford. The view of the bushland is lovely and the house is spacious. The fire warms the house well. We had trouble with the key code provided but after a call to the owners this was fixed. The shower over the bath is hard to use with a shower curtain that gets in the way when inside the bath but if left outside floods the floor. For the price paid the bathroom could do with an upgrade. Also the deck is large and has a great view but the BBQ and outside lounge need a good clean.
- Sara (10/5): - What a wonderful place, the pictures are great and it is even better in person! We had such a wonderful stay, and if we ever visit Daylesford again I hope The Views Cottage will be available again.
- Cheryl (9/5): Refreshing, picturesque, calming. - Thanks for the welcome chocolates. The view was absolutely amazing, loved the deck. Property well maintained. The bathroom and toilet were okay - could use a bit of refurbishment, and would've been better if the toilet was separate to the bathroom since there was only 1 toilet 1 bath.
- peatman (9/5): We had a wonderful weekend - The view was amazing
- Michael (9/5): A lovely getaway with a beautiful view, just a short drive from the centre of Daylesford. - This is a beautiful house, well-appointed, including a very large deck with an exceptional view. The fireplace was really nice to have, especially for the cold nights in the middle of winter. My only complaint is that we could have used a clothes rack, particularly for drying towels. There’s very minimal rack space in the bathroom for more than two towels.
- Simone (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location and view
- Levi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maryanne (8/5): Pleasant stay with lifelong friends. - Loved the view! The bathroom needs some work.
- Shailander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Boris (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful Property with an amazing view. Location is great, beds are super comfortable. Communication with the host was easy. a pool on the deck would be amazing, but that would just be a bonus, but otherwise everything was great
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic stay. Everything you need is supplied. Beds comfortable. Plenty of seating. No shade from afternoon sun on balcony
- Jenny (8/5): Generally a pretty good place to holiday in and a quiet area. - Very good view from the back of the house, very comfortable beds and good heating, everything in the house worked well. No Netflix, etc on TV, shower area not that good.
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was big and spacious. It was clean and had everything required for a getaway. Our kids loved staying there and the view of the forest from the balcony and the bedroom was amazing. Location was close to everything. Great communication from the host.
- Merzia (8/5): Very good -
- Hermann (8/5): Comfortable place to wind down - Very spacious and clean. A good place to wind down after a long work week.
Even with bad weather the view from the living room couch is awesome.Bring some games and good music and you are all set.
Once the wood stove gets going the house starts feeling cosy. A slight let down is the single bathroom.
- Vasilios (9/5): Well worth it. - Great location near the town and lake. Lovely view complete with kangaroos and kookaburras on some of the days we were there. Well equipped kitchen. Flat is warm and spacious. Only 1 of 5 lamps worked, the rest needed bulbs.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful view
- Erin (8/5): Very good -
- Suzanna (9/5): Cute cottage with excellent views , lux price for simple amenities , paying for the view . Perfect girls getaway - Fantastic view , short walk to the Lake and town centre no dishwasher , kitchen cupboards a bit stiff , good clean required in the gap between bath tub and wall .
- Rachel (10/5): Perfect family spot - views, huge deck, space. no tea towels or good mirrors
- Kanchana (9/5): Superb -
- Ashleigh (8/5): Very good -
- Hugo (8/5): Very good -
- Shane (8/5): Very good -
- Mandi (10/5): Amazing as always. Just had our second girls weekend at ‘The Views’…. can not wait to head back! - Everything is wonderful!
- Emily (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): A relaxing stay with an amazing outlook. - The view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the birds and seeing the farm animals next door. All was great. Maybe one slight negative was that there was a fight over the only double bed, which also had the best views.
