Guest Reviews
- Daria (10/5): - Basic but we had everything we needed. Clean and nice, spacious outside area.
Short walk to supermarket, bakery, beach and more.

- Esslemont (7/5): - Excellent location, value for money
- Yael (8/5): Comfortable - Easy check in. Good communication.
Clean and tidy.
Spacious. The double bed is very comfortable.
Has one double bed bedroom and another room with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds
Nice place for a big family
Very basic and simple, as seen in pictures.
Nice location, close to the store, gas station and Jetty I was in and out within 12 hours, I didn't have time to dislike things đ

- Matthew (8/5): This place was ok for the money. đđŒ - Cheap, convenient, good position and clean Could do with a new lick of paint.
- Paul (8/5): Jurien Top Spot Bliss. - Location, location, location. Park and walk. Very comfortable and clean. It's not the Ritz, thankfully, the quiet of the night and morning is bliss. She lacks the electrical connectivity of a small nation, so hunting power became a game.
- Jane (1/5): Unforgettable for all the wrong reasons - The cottage was in poor condition. The upholstery was badly stained and dirty:
doors closed off :paint work badly chipped and flaking off :the sanitary ware old and in need of replacement :under the chair part of the floor covering was missing :8one of the beds had been slept in but not changed :the blinds had slats missing :there was a whole in the outside fabric: the cover for the-outside light was missing and the whole property was in need of a good refurbishment everything was in need of a good clean
What was there to like All of the above it was advertised as basic
It was not only basic it should not be on the market we have travelled extensively in Australia and never experienced such a poor
I will not book a place again without seeing it first

- Esekaia (7/5): - The cottage is an old one but it was clean. Access to locked box for door key was easy. Code sent by email prior to arrival. Had all the facilities one would need including a washing machine. There is not a lot of choice for accommodation in Jurien Bay. This was reasonably priced and has everything you will need. Couldnt find the host as i needed to use the washing machine. Had washed cabin linen in it. Machine is a communal machine shared by the 3 cabins and the host for cabin linen. Ended up hanging the clothes in the machine so i can do my laundry.
- Cheryl (6/5): cottage 55 Jurien Bay - The location was great, plus pet friendly. Although yard not fenced. Bed clean and comfortable . Clean fridge. Broken slats on most of the blinds, toaster didn't work. Plus ants everywhere, they got into our food.

- anthony (8/5): - Plenty of room to park our truck & boat.
Great for 3 workers for an overnighter.
Close to pub & shops Couldnât get aircon to work
- David (10/5): - Great place. I couldnât fault it. Will be back.
- Richard (8/5): - The location is very good as it is close to the IGA and the beach. The Internet had a good connection. The parking was convenient. Air conditioning worked fine. The place had plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. The refrigerator was large. There were ample plates and kitchen utensils. Check in instructions were good. Overall it was a good value in Jurien Bay. The bathroom sink had a stopper that couldn't be removed. There is paint peeling around the edge of the ceiling in the master bedroom. The trash cans weren't removed from the street early in the morning so I couldn't throw out the trash before we left.
- Shanae (10/5): - Clean and easily accessible N/A
- Elisabeth Everdina Gerarda (8/5): - De locatie en ruimte om het huisje! Er mag wat opgeknapt worden, maar ondanks dat heerlijk verblijf.
- Bronwyn (9/5): Great spot for a beach holiday - Great location near the beach and close to shops, fish and chips, etc. House is comfortable with a functional kitchen, tidy bathroom and nice beds. In the room with single beds, the beds are a bit close together but means you can easily all stay together. A dishwasher would be nice. The air con struggled on the 40+ degree days.
- Julie (8/5): Apart from the leaking shower it was very good accomadation - Location was spot on Fixing the leaking shower, although the manager, when I reported it to him spoke of the plumber who had attended previously had said there wasn't a problem!!!
- Nikki (7/5): Ok for a overnight stay . You get what you pay for - Location is fabulous Very old property in need of renovation
- Christopher Ian (8/5): Very good - Location and great value for money The blinds on the windows facing the main street didn't keep people from looking in!
- Bradley (9/5): - Easygoing place and good location, just simple
- Tracey (10/5): More than adequate for our needs. Will be back. - The blinds needed attention. People could see in at night as it's close to foot path. Not a problem at all as we covered up but felt you might like feedback We loved our stay and are planning to book again in 6 weeks.
- Jonathan (8/5): Great location for an affordable night away. - It was perfect for a very affordable, well located night away. For the price we paid I think it is excellent value and highly recommend it. Shops and cafes very close by. Beach in walking distance. Nothing really. There is a pretty constant leak from the showerhead but that is more of a problem for the owners than it was for us.
- Petula (8/5): Ok. Great back yard to sit in. Everything worked fine. Just not for two long maybe. - Ok for a one night stay over. Needed a bit of TLC . Furniture could do with updating but like I said , ok for stop over. Probably not any longer .
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Lindsay (9/5): Value for money - So close to everything you can walk all around town and that itâs dog friendly. Nothing
- Brodie (8/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): - Great location! cafes across the road, beach n shops down the street
- Michael (10/5): -
- barbara (5/5): Nice stay - The location and security The bath shower very dangerous! The steps need re cementing and oven was dirty !
- lin (8/5): -
- Kaye (10/5): Short stay - Very clean
- Michael (10/5): - Good value for the money. Facilities and area has everything you need.
- Katrin (7/5): -
- Erin (9/5): - Clean, comfortable, good value đ
- Anne (8/5): Great short stay and will go back again. - The property while a little old, it was super clean and was walking distance from shops and the beach. Great off-road parking and huge back yard area for family gathering. A few more utensils and storage containers in the kitchen.
- PaweĆ (9/5): -
- Claire (9/5): - Loved the outdoor area. Loved being able to bring our dog and have a barbecue and a game of cricket on the lawn.
Loved how everything is an easy walking distance from the cottage. Beach, shops n pub!
Also it was such a great price. As a pensioner it's getting harder to afford a holiday so this is fantastic! The only thing I didn't like was leaving!! I could easily have stayed for the whole summer lol
- Dani (8/5): - Great location able to walk to shops and beach. Seperate dwellings was also nice Older property split system didnât work had to use old school heaters.
- Ma Elena (7/5): -
- Eugene (9/5): -
- Kerrie (6/5): -
- Dene (6/5): -
- Martin (9/5): - Well situated, we really liked the birdsong in the morning. Had everything you need to be comfortable.
- Heather (6/5): Reasonably comfortable. - Bed pretty comfortable. Nowhere to park in front of our cottage, made it difficult to unload & carry our bags in.
Sign inside says milk is provided for tea & coffee, but none was provided for us.
No air con in bedroom, room was freezing cold when we arrived at night, had to use heater to heat our room, but still felt cold while getti g ready for bed.
- Catherine (8/5): Great stay at Cottage 55. - Cosy, comfortable and clean aswell as being a great location. Had to leave it!
- Melissa (10/5): Highly recommended - Great location, very cosy, had everything I needed for a very comfortable time Nil
- Frank (9/5): A very pleasant stay - Plenty of space , big backyard and all What more would you want .
- Dannielle (8/5): Old style beach accommodation that's budget and family friendly. - These cottages are great for families looking for simple accom with lots of beds and plenty of space for the kids to run around. They are old school beach town accommodation with no bells or whistles, a great outdoor area with BBQ's and an easy walk to the jetty. We stayed with two families and had a fantastic weekend.
- Glynda (8/5): just what we expected - Great for one night stop on the way home nothing
- Aloidia (10/5): - Value for money and pet friendly
- Nadine (10/5): -
- Sonia (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (10/5): Great location, clean and pet friendly. Perfect for what we needed on our way home from up North. - Great location and large backyard for car & boat parking.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathy (7/5): Great value for money, would just like see appropriate curtains. - Everything you need on a road trip. Windows did not feel safe and blinds do not cover windows which I really do not like.
- Kevin (7/5): Good -
- Amanda (7/5): Good - It was a budget stay. But it was comfortable. Had everything we needed. Good value for money.
- Michael (5/5): Did the job for a night - Great location. Good communication from operator. Great backyard. Great amount of beds. Blinds are broken, floor seemed a little dirty or the glue from the vinyl is showing and making it look dirty. Door to laundry and bathroom wasnât working properly. Thin toilet paper and the roll was wet when we arrived. Internet did not work. Cooking utensils were average- no strainer, one small wobbly frypan. No fan in bathroom so everything was wet when having a shower.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Peta (10/5): Extremely comfortable and immaculately clean. - Whilst the cottages are on the older side. They were incredibly comfortable and immaculately clean. The beds were ridiculously comfy. We all slept so well in the cottage.
Ample heating for a cold wintery night.
Highly recommend. Excellent value for money.
- Sarah (6/5): Cheap and cheerful. Its in no way 5 star, but its clean and comfortable and well equipped and in a good location. Great - Great location
Very clean
Comfy bed with good pillows Toilet seat needs replacing I suspect its been damaged by the cleaning agents.
Some of the Verticals are missing leaving gaps which i found creepy at night being a solo traveller.
Not enough power points. The one in the main bedroom was too far away from the bed to plug the lamp into. There wasnât an accessible one in the lounge to charge my phone.
Not as comfortable as 53.
- Teck (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tatana (8/5): Very good -
- Brianna (9/5): Superb - Easy self checking, spacious, had all the basics, goo budget accommodation
- Jacqueline (5/5): Passable - Difficult to find in the dark. Lights with the accommodation name weren't turned on. No outside light for the lock box so couldn't see to put the code in. Very shabby and rough. Toilet seat was very scuffed up and discoloured - easy and cheap to fix.
Couch was below par - did not sit on it.
- Sydney (8/5): Very good -
- Randall (8/5): Very good - location Found small ants crawling around
- Roger (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - Location and price Basic accomodation ...good value for price
- Anne (5/5): Passable -
- Yolandi (3/5): Please sort the ant infestation out. - ANTS ANTS ANTS ANTS - EVERYWHERE!
Couldn't sleep at night as we had a clear off alot of ants first. Creepy crawley thoughts all night long.
All over the kitchen. Cant leave any food open.
All the windows can be looked through from the outside. No real privacy at all.
Every curtain or blind had a broken gap, and 1 window had no cover at all.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Location!!! Clean and tidy and has everything you need. Can't beat the price p/n. Loretta is fantastic in responding to any enquiries, especially when you lock yourself out đ€Šââïž âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž rating!
- Annalisa (7/5): Good - Clean and cozy, but there were ants all over the place. It didnât bother us that much since we stayed only one night! Overall it is a great option at a fair price.
- Gavin (5/5): Passable -
- Keith (8/5): Very good - Nice stay for very little money
- Tom (7/5): Good - Good, practical, no-frills accomodation. Well located. Some ants in the living room while we were there.
- Paula (7/5): Good - All was good but pillows need replacing. When you just need a good night's sleep...it would be nice to have a clean pillow. Even though it's budget, it had everything we needed.
- Antony (9/5): Superb -
- Chin (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (9/5): Very pleasant stay. Better than expected. Would have no hesitation recommending it to others - Location value for money. Easy access to person in charge Nothing
- Donna (7/5): Good - Location central to shops and restaurants
- Jenna (7/5): Good - Had everything we needed, was good for a little beach stay. The only reson I didn't rate this higher was the ant problem. There were bait stations for ants around the place but they were still everywhere! Bathroom, benchtops, even got into the suitcases in our bedrooms.
- Jane (7/5): Good - the location was great
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (8/5): Old property but good value, well set up self-contained contained unit close to everything - Location is amazing. Close to beach, shops, cafes and pubs. Bed was comfy. Parking on site Lounge lights didn't work but that was the only thing.
