Everything available for a great stay We were disappointed when we arrived back from an amazing wedding & there were 2 cars in the car park. One was parked correctly near the walkway, the other was in the middle of the remaining area. Couldn't fit either side of the car & there was plenty of room to fit 3 cars. Maybe mark the carparks. Just a thought. One other thing, the bed was very hard so we didn't sleep well.

• Rita (10/5): 5 stars!! - I come to Daylesford for a getaway once a year and this was a last minute trip so my regular place was not available. I booked Red Gables on a whim (hoping for the best) and the deluxe queen suite did not disappoint. The check-in process was really easy, the suite had a beautiful view and the suite itself was well laid out with a few high tech gadgets (nice surprise) and a comfortable space. I took full advantage of my stay there - went for a walk on the property, took a bath, spent a bit of time in the tv room, chatted with the lovely Susan (Adrian's mother) and played fetch with one of the elderly dogs. It's a quiet space in a great location between main street in Daylesford and Hepburn Springs so I was able to take advantage of going to my favourite places without having to drive too much. As I was leaving, Susan was there to wish me farewell, which was heart warming. I would highly recommend staying here!

Noticed some small insects on the pillows during thr second day, but this may have been our fault for not closing the doors properly. Would still fully recommend this stay!

• Mark Millward (10/5): Very lovely indeed. Quite the treat. - Exceptional place to stay for a short weekend. Stylish, spacious, chic, quirky, clean. Really liked staying here. Reminded me of my first little apartment in London. The free milk and nespresso pods were much appreciated. Had a lovely bath and smashing shower. Very comfy bed and pillows. Warm. Pretty little outside area and garden. Very private and quiet given it is not so far from the main raod. Very generous TV subscription services provided.

• Aaron (10/5): Unique, romantic and idealic setting with everything you need for a weekend getaway! - The property was perfect and very well presented with everything you could ask for. You could tell the host has great pride in his property. The amenities were fist class, including high end Aesop toiletries a quality mattress. The location was perfect and private with easy access. If I was being picky I’m not a big fan of flanelette linen and prefer crisp “white” linen.

The house has a backyard showcasing shrubs with flowers, intense green grass and Kangaroos. I filmed some as i have my own you tube channel about wildlife of Australia. The main bedroom window of the hedge suite faces this beautiful backyard, you can literally be in bed watching how petals from trees slowly drop onto a beautiful garden.
• Federica (10/5): Beautiful spot with stylish decor and generous hosts - The hosts were very lovely and accomodating! They really had thought of everything, even providing a picnic basket if you wanted to use it. The decor was also very fun, lots of interesting art and use of colour.

A little difficult to find on arrival - directions not so clear & road terrain was confusing. However after being there & found proper access road was ok. Pleasant bush/natural setting. Would have appreciated location/atmosphere more with a longer stay. Unheated bathroom in cold weather.

• Tina (9/5): A perfect getaway and Daylesford is a charming town. - A lovely accommodation n the owner paid attention to all the details to make our stay a comfortable one. He even had a huge tv screen for us to enjoy movies from Netflix n other entertainment platform. A little difficult to locate the accommodation when we first arrive but once you are there it’s easy. We are only about 3mins drive from Daylesford village which is so convenient.
