Guest Reviews
- Judy (5/5): - Great location The property could definitely use some tlc, the couches are uncomfortable, the tv speakers are dying. The courtyard needs a good clean. Great location, but for the price it needs a good spring clean.
- Noeline (7/5): Good - It was very clean. We could not find a way to unlock the doors out to the bbque and table. The key to the front door looked like it should work on the back but didn't.
The know on the internal door to the kitchen fell off in your hand when trying to open the door to the kitchen.
- John (7/5): Good location in a comfortable venue. - The location was ideal for our activities. Within easy walking distance of the town centre for shops and cafes. The view over the river was good. The upstairs area suits agile people with no leg or balance issues. The bbq was clean and efficient. No starter pack for breakfast for late arrivals. No tissues provided. The sliding windows were very difficult to open (require servicing). The door closer on the screen door was broken. The upstairs toilet did not flush efficiently. Difficult to carry heavy suitcase up the stairs to top room.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Trevina (8/5): Very good -
- Farrell (9/5): Superb - Beautiful little townhouse, great location, awesome value for money. Bonus: a cat came to visit us in the garden one morning Balcony door in the double room upstairs was jammed
- Jervy (5/5): We still able to pulled out a great holiday despite of few hiccups in our stay. - The back outdoor area is magnificent, couldn’t complain about that at all. Location is very convenient to have your therapeutic nature beauty morning/afternoon walks and very close to the town/shopping centre. It is also walking distance to the Griffiths Island. The management/owner did a great job addressing the hiccups we encountered during our (3 nights - 4 days) stay. I rated the facility below average rating so the management will have to look in to this matter seriously. No one wants an inconvenience and uncertain events during your holiday, not in your accommodation.
- Oven wasn’t working the night that we really needed to use for a special occasion which was the highlight of our holiday to celebrate one of our friend’s milestone in life. We brought everything we need to make that night special but least we expect a non functional oven. (the owner/management was able to had it checked and temporarily replaced in our last night)
- hot water service - we weren’t inform that we need to boosts the water system service. We run out of hot water and it wasn’t convenient to locate the power/meter to boost the hot water system (in short we had to wait 2 hours) for us to use hot shower at night as we were not aware that the water run out in the morning. (5 pax occupying the accommodation) - thought it was quickly address when we notified the problem and we someone from the management called us back to walk through the process on what we need to do, but it shouldn’t be a problem in the first place.
- wifi - the wifi only work in our 1st night, and our last night. We reported the problem and again they send someone to fix the connection/wiring issue from the main outlet outside. But then again, most of the nights we had to use our data to hotspot the smart tv for us not to ruin our plans - movie nights. Nothing much you can do at night in the area specially the weather conditions was bad during our stay with heavy storms/wind.
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Smith (8/5): Very good -
- Maureen (9/5): We will be back - Excellent location, lovely views Update decor inside and outside
- David (8/5): Will be back - Great location and outlook A little bit dated
- Jayden (6/5): Great location and a beautiful town, will most definitely return to Port Fairy again. - The location was fantastic, easy walking to everywhere. Unfortunately there were spiders and spider webs in various areas of the house, the back screen doors are falling apart and stick, making them hard to open and close, also the screens on these doors were torn from some of the edges allowing mosquitos to enter the house, the front gate to close was so hard to do, the locking bolt needs to be replaced and aligned again, also the back area where you walk in once it rained the concrete was full of black mould which then stuck on your shoes and walked into the house, needs to be pressure cleaned.
- Jennifer (9/5): Beautiful Port Fairy: relaxing, peaceful, good restaurants, friendly people and fabulous coffee … our happy place - the property has beautiful views across the river; very peaceful and lots of bird life.
Well equipped and quality bedding and luxurious white towels ( always a winner for me). Walking distance to town and beaches. liked everything … only item we noticed was the Flywire screen door needs repair … but didn’t affect us!
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Yolanda (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nisha (5/5): Passable - Great location. Easy to find. Lovely view over the Moyne River. Everything worked. Lots of cutlery and crockery provided. Good beds. The unit wasn't in the best condition. Furniture was old and carpet stained. One couch covered in pet hair, which they offered to have cleaned quickly once i let the agency know. Big ant problem. Otherwise properly was clean.
