- Hannah (10/5): We had such a lovely and relaxing time and would absolutely stay again! - The facilities were great, gorgeous location, and such a lovely little cottage! The heater stopped working 2 nights in, but the person I phoned was really lovely and sorted it out for us.

- Annie (3/5): I didn’t stay at the property because it wasn’t very secure. - It was listed with Private Parking. Basically parked on the Street.
- Nareena (5/5): - The peace The spa didn't work, the place needs restumping, floors were very uneven.

- Elizabeth (8/5): - Great little cottage conveniently located, very cosy & quiet highly recommend 👌
- Naomi (7/5): A very pleasant, relaxing stay. - The location was perfect.
The cottage was cute and cosy. We loved the gas, log fireplace, however it did stop working on the second night we were there and a gas fitter had to be called out to fix it.
The young man that came to fix it was absolutely lovely. He arrived promptly, was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem within 30 mins. There could have been more attention to the cleanliness/Housekeeping.
The floors throughout the cottage were quite dirty and the underlay on the bed had a big yellow stain on it.

- Thomas (8/5): Great place to visit - Very nice little accommodation option for a couple. Good facilities, and good value for money- the furniture in the living room wasn’t very comfortable though.
- Terry (6/5): Port Fairy lovely, accomodation cute but pricey and not so great. No wifi internet connectivity. - Lounge chairs very uncomfortable. Rooms very dark (lacking natural light). Front garden area badly in need of weeding, attention
- Antonia (2/5): Suboptimal accommodation and very poor value for money. - There was no breakfast. Place was dark, claustrophobic with no windows in bathroom or kitchen. The place was poorly laid out and the kitchen poorly equipped.
The place smelt on damp? mould? - an unpleasant smell.
We had a problem and the agent was unresponsive.
- Julie (8/5): Very comfortable and good location. - Cottage was very comfortable and close to the main shopping centre, beaches and river. Shower was very slippery and as older users, we had to buy a mat to avoid slipping over in the shower.
- Andrew (6/5): Pleasant little cottage - Quiet location , easy to walk to shops & eateries
comfortable bed Water in shower fluctuated in temperature
minimal outside space & nowhere to hang wet swimming gear
- Michelle (8/5): A quiet spot for a few days get away - Great location. Walking distance to the beach and into shops. Also quiet. Has what you need with some basic supplies. Very cute small cottage. Good for a few nights. Outdoor spaces could do with a bit of refreshment. The front garden would make a nice sitting area but isn't welcoming at the moment.
Bedroom door if open blocks access to the bathroom.
Loung chairs despite all the cushions are not particularly comfortable.
- Peter (6/5): Looks great... but.... - Very cosy and quiet. Very roomy and comfortable for two people. Well equipped kichten. Spacious bathroom. No shelves or drawers for clothes storage. Just a free stading rack with a few clothes hangers. So we "dressed" out of our cases. Don't open the bedroom window. It doesn't work. We undid the latch, and the top window came crashing down in a freefall. It was frighteneing. Luckily the glass didn't break. But the window got properly stuck. Needed a few metal car-jack accessories to dislodge it so we could push it up again. Front door doesn't seal at all, so the night-time winds blow the cool night air in. With the stone walls, the place gets rather chilly by morning. A pair of bathrobes would have been a nice touch, rather that having to get dressed in warm clothing every morning. Fridge door inconveniently opens the wrong way. Checkout is at 10:00. Slept in a bit, and figured we'd be out by 10:15. Cleaners came knocking at 10:07. The mind boggles.
- Judith (8/5): Comfortable and clean, Huge bathroom . Altogether a great short stay for us Would certainly b - No breakfast. Very good location Mattress was a bit uncomfortable.
- Colin (7/5): Generally a pleasant few days. - Clean / position/ gas log fire/ Bed and lounge chairs were not comfortable. Weeds in garden at entrance didn’t give a good initial impression.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (8/5): Great two night stop over. - Fabulous location. Easy walking distance to all areas of Port Fairy. Well set up with everything you needed. Plenty of information available regarding cottage and area. Couches look great, but not all that comfortable for a long stay. The same applies to the kitchen table and chairs, not stable enough to sit there for long to linger over a meal. Two nights was fine.
- Alex (9/5): We were there for the Jazz festival so did not spend much time in the cottage itself. - Breakfast not included. .
- Alan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Suzanne (7/5): Good -
- Jacinta (9/5): Superb -
- Ray (7/5): Well locatd old style cottage - Cozy , well located older style cottage Poor Internet service due to the stone walls. Poor quality water in the Port Fairy Township
- Oscar (8/5): Quaint cottage in central Port Fairy - Pre arrival instructions were accurate and easy to understand. Cottage was very clean and there were quite a number of TV channels to choose from. The fireplace (log / electric) was a nice touch when it was cold outside.Very quiet location. Very close to the centre of town, so it was easy to stroll into town for a coffee or dinner. It is a cottage, so if you are tall, you will need to duck the archways between the inside rooms.. Otherwise it was exactly as described.
- Marie (6/5): Clean and nice place. - The location was good. Close to the shops. The chairs were not comfortable.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cottage within easy reach to the sea, centre of town and shopping/restaurants. nothing
- Sally (9/5): Superb -
- Leanne (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (6/5): Considering the cost, facilities were basic, compared with the many cottages we have stayed in. - Convenient location adjoining parkland. Short walk/ drive to shops. Bathroom spacious. Quiet location. Lacked ambience which should be associated with a colonial cottage. Lounge room lacked cosiness. Seating not very comfortable. Gas log fire inoperative. Basic furnishings. Basic hanging space for clothing and no drawers. Lacking in microwave-proof cookware. Microwave in inconvenient position and difficult to read.
- Cameron (9/5): Superb -
- Tanya (9/5): Quaint cottage, very comfortable and in a good location. We will keep returning to this place. - We are return travellers to this lovely cottage. It’s very quaint, with a really comfy bed and a nice big spa in the bathroom. The two sources of heating make it really cosy in the cold months. Doesn’t have a microwave or an oven, not a major deal for a short stay but would be handy if you wanted to prepare your own meals.
- John (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in Port Fairy. - Great location; good kitchen facilities; heating worked well - it was warm and cosy in the sitting room. All ok. Had most facilities for a short stay.
- Giselle (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (8/5): Very good - Quaintness.
- Markus (10/5): Cottage stay - The old fashioned feeling of the cozy cottage
- Rhonda (7/5): Good -
- Jim (9/5): Superb -
- Maree (9/5): Superb - Really beautifully presented The hair dryer, no wifi and the large armchairs are not very comfortable.
- Cheryl (8/5): Very good - Location was fabulous. Lack of some basics. Probably an oversight but there was no tea towel provided, which made the requirements to clean tricky. I did appreciate the heads up from this cottage about the water so we were prepared and bought water with us. However we did stay at other places which included spring water when the water wasn’t great. Also the text reminding us to put the bins out when we arrived was a bit odd.
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good - Within walking distance of beach, river & shops.
Comfortable facilities. Disappointing to discover Cottage not free-standing. Adjoins another cottage, sharing a courtyard and laundry which was not advertised. No wardrobe or suitable hanging space. Also no dedicated parking.
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (9/5): Most enjoyable - Location good breakfast was down to us It was very cold an electric blanket would have bee a bonus
- John (8/5): quaint cotttage getaway in Port Fairy - quaint cottage clean nice fireplace smell of moth balls or cleaning chemical especially in bedroom very overpowering
- Jean (8/5): Very good - Convenience to town. Cottage clean and had everything we needed apart from more storage in bedroom. Couches were uncomfortable. Would have liked drawers in bedroom only had a rail and 4 coat hangers.
- Paula (7/5): Good - The couches lovely
