Two to three minute drive to shops, restaurants and the creek. Outdoor shower was great for washing off the sand. Spotted lots of wildlife, water dragons, birds, and a pod of dolphins at the beach.

• Antje (10/5): - This is the most amazing holiday home we have stayed in on our trip around Australia‘‘s East coast. Well equipped, great beds, a great garden and huge living room, a very quiet neighbourhood and within two minutes you have access to a wonderful quiet beach. We travelled as a family and every member of the family loved this place. The garden is great for playing and relaxing, even in winter. We should have stayed longer
• Joseph (9/5): Excellent Pottsville beachside house - The house was renovated, clean, well-appointed and spacious enough for two couples and two small children. The real bonus is the large yard and the proximity to the beach - it's perhaps a two-minute walk along a grass track to a basically-deserted surf beach. The town centre is not walking distance but it's close enough and has everything you'll need. For a seaside holiday, it's just perfect. The kitchen utensils and cookware were very limited so the barbeque became an essential item. There's no aircon (fans only) so in hot weather it can be a little bit uncomfortable.

• Martin (10/5): Our expectation for the holiday were met and then exceeded! - The location was perfect. Just 150 metres from the beach! The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We went for beach walks, went fishing and swimming, BBQed and caught up on family time. The place was well screened with shrubs so we didn't feel that the neighbours were right on top of us. Nothing, it was perfect!

Cute house! - The location of this property was fantastic! very private and close to the beach, the kids loved exploring all the tracks and the main street was very close which had everything we needed, IGA, cafes etc. The only thing I would say is we only had 2 bin bags and 2 dishwasher tablets for 3 nights, so we were not able to put the dishwasher on when we left.

• Nancey (10/5): Beautiful place to stay. - Such a neat, clean, and well appointed property in a perfect location, just a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. Very tastefully decorated inside with a beautiful well maintained garden outside. Loved that there is a Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother! All linen and towels were provided and it was so thoughtful of the owner to also provide beach towels. Good regular communication from the owner. No air conditioning in the house, but good fans in the living area and each of the bedrooms and plenty of windows and doors to let in the lovely sea breeze. Not the most comfy of beds (two were a bit too soft and one was hard and a bit lumpy). The following are just suggestions, rather than criticisms because we loved our stay. Perhaps more cooking utensils (e.g., a larger frypan, a variety of different sized saucepans, a sandwich toaster). Also, it would have been good to have the bedside table and lamp next to the bed in the third bedroom rather than against the wall at the foot of the bed, but I recognise that the current configuration does not have space for that.

Stunning gardens with little lizards around especially in the rain, and everything you need within a short walk / drive from the property. Beautiful lookouts, great fishing and a huge varity of shops / food options to enjoy. Needs a pest spray inside.

• Maria (9/5): A luscious green hideaway, less than 3 mins walk from the beach - Soooo much to love about this property. It was beautifully maintained inside and out with lush green gardens front and back. So lovely to be able to sit out in the garden in the sun and lie in the hammock. Less than 3 minutes walk to the beach where we saw whales and dolphins! The host was extremely communicative and friendly and even welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Thanks so much Emily for a lovely stay. If you were going to stay at this property for more than a few days, I would suggest you take extra toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, garbage bags, paper towel and Tupperware containers for left overs. These items were provided, but only a small supply. Some people love a firm bed bed, but I found the bed in the main bedroom to be uncomfortably hard. All bedrooms contain double/Queen sized beds. For a family stay, a configuration that includes two single beds would have been more practical for us..

Very well equipped with bbq, all kitchen appliances and outdoor dining area. Beach towels and hairdryer kindly provided. Property was perfect and lots of facilities in Pottsville - supermarket, shops, cafés ...but all a good 15- 20min walk from the property. Local taxi facilities rather limited so car would be recommended. 10am check out was early by European standards but seems the norm in Australia.

Nice and quiet at night. The hosts had left us a bottle of red which was a very nice touch thanks. We were down from QLD so were a little cold. Perhaps a heater could help with the cooler weather. Also recommend perhaps a dryer also to help get clothes dried in the colder months. Other than that, we had everything we needed.

• Ethel (10/5): Immaculate, perfect, quiet - Tha Palms Beach House was an incredible home away from home. The house and garden were immaculate, and had everything we expected and more. Fully equipped and modern kitchen, comfortable and clean bedrooms and bathrooms, multiple streaming services on TV, expansive backyard, BBQ, and driveway for parking. The owner even had a bottle of wine for our arrival! It was the perfect location to have a quiet day at the beach - just a few steps from the backyard! Or you can do a 30-min drive down to Byron Bay for a lively day, or 1 hour up to Gold Coast for even more activities. Already thinking of when to book this property again! Maybe blinds for privacy and an exhaust fan in the bathrooms to prevent moisture buildup.
