Nice touches like milk and bread in the fridge when we arrived.
Short walk to town. Minor complaint, the old couch in the main living room was pretty uncomfortable.
- Paula (10/5): - Exceptional property, with everything that we required
- Ann (10/5): Fantastic short stay, good location and would be happy to stay here again. - Handy location for the town and for other places in the area.

The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen perfect. We were grateful for the generosity of our hosts on finding a well filled pantry including bread and milk on our arrival. The easy walk into town and the beautiful garden were an added bonus. Couldn’t fault it!

- Vilkaitis (10/5): Awesome value with great vibes - I loved my stay at Pulling Up Stumps. I found the property very cosy and homely. I appreciated the fresh milk in the fridge there was also a fresh loaf of bread provided. I did not use that, but I did appreciate it. I loved the inclusion of electric blankets on the beds. Would stay there again if I need to visit the area again. Its a very small thing. I would have appreciated the outdoor sensor light at the back coming on a little earlier when arriving at night time.

- LINDA (10/5): Just Excellent. - The house is large and supremely homely, with a fabulous garden. The location is excellent: 1 km from the township of Rutherglen - a very short drive or a 15-minute stroll. The property is set back off the road and is very quiet. This place has everything we would want, and it was spotlessly clean. It was particularly lovely to sit on the verandah and have coffee or an evening drink.

Milk, juice, bread, butter and various breakfast options supplied. There is even a proper espresso coffee machine. Owners were easy to deal with and super helpful. Had some issues with the evaporative cooling system and the owner was over in under than 10 minutes to help. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Rutherglen.

- Mary (10/5): A brilliant stay in a spacious but cosy family home. - An amazingly large but cosy home - perfect for us as 2 couples - each couple had their own space. Also ideal for families. Two undercover car spaces. Loved the central heating, quick and responsive. Fully appointed kitchen with basic breakfast provisions provided, and coffee and tea. Close to town and places of interest on that side of town. Exuded 'Old World Charm' and a beautiful outlook from all windows. Thank you Sarina and Eric we had a very happy and comfortable long weekend. Our friends found the mattresses a bit too firm and a Doona rather than blankets would have been preferable to the synthetic blankets on the bed, as none of us use electric blankets, and 2 out of the overnight temperatures were below zero.

- Marika (9/5): absolutely would recommend as a great place to stay and good value for money - Very comfortable for eight adults over 4 nights. it’s close to town . Kitchen and fridge were well stocked with essentials and plenty of linen available for when we needed it. only that there were a few too many ornaments around that either took up space that we could have used as floor space to store the bags of food we’d brought with us or that we were always on the lookout to ensure we didn’t bump into anything or knock it over.
