- Angela (8/5): Our accommodation was great for visiting friends over the weekend during the Castlemaine Festival. - The four bedrooms worked for us - allowed each of us to have our own space. Fantastic shower - hot and great water pressure. Plenty of towels provided, extra pillows and blankets. House was very clean and hosts were very responsive to messages. Is a little tired and bit of an odd layout with fourth bedroom accessed via the laundry but it worked for us. Beware of the garden sprinklers coming on at night - keep your windows closed!

We enjoyed spending time in the outdoor garden setting & the BBQ area. Thank you for giving us detailed instructions on how to use the air-conditioning system. Quite convenient to the town centre. Have no complaints at all. Everything was neat & tidy and all appliances in good working order.

- JoMurray (9/5): Home away from home - Very comfortable beds, super tidy and clean throughout, house stayed cool on hot days, evaporative cooling system was fast and effective, beautiful rambling garden with bonus lemons and raspberries to enjoy, helpful and communicative owners, short drive into Castlemaine and all the local sights and activities, modern touches with refreshed bathrooms. Nothing!

Dishwasher had not been emptied on arrival so no idea how long dishes sitting in there so had to rewash. Dirty oven tray left in oven. TV steaming through Playstation is painful! Very unresponsive. We think it is overpriced in comparison to other properties we have stayed in.

- Joan (6/5): it was a pleasant stay but we would not go back again as the house is not suited to 8 people. - it was in a convenient location. we had early access to the property thanks to the hosts. It was dog friendly and had a huge backyard. house was really only suited for 6 people although there are beds for 8. Dining seating inside was only for 6. The house was very small to cater for 8 people., especially in the kitchen and dining area. Fortunately it was warm enough to eat outside. we were initially surprised about the lack of mugs, glasses and jugs until we found a large number still in the dishwasher later in the day.

The kitchen cupboard with the crockery inside was a challenge to open. I know it’s the original and looks great, but we did nearly lose a couple of fingernails in the process.
