• JOHAN (9/5): - Het is er rustig en mooi. We komen er samen met de familie, de kinderen zetten de tent op ergens in het domein. Het internet laat ons gerust en de tafel staat steeds gedekt aan de rand van de vijver. Het wandelpad is aan de deur. Het is soms druk aan de sanitaire voorziening, maar de omgeving leeft je wachten

• Bram (1/5): Disappointing - Nice and quiet location. Would be lovely in the summer with the lakes around the house. Kitchen equipment was ok with plenty of pots & pans. Fungus in the house was disgusting and could be smelled: on the walls of the bedrooms, under the kitchen cover, behind the curtains, etc. It was not clean at all: dirty corners & floor, furniture with stains, bathroom, etc. No wifi and no signal at all at the house is inconvenient.

• Valérie (9/5): Peaceful - The nature and quiet surrounding the place. the space inside the house with a fireplace. amazing view from the ponds The dishwasher was not working well. some dishes were not properly clean with it.
• Giovanni (10/5): A comfortable chalet in all aspects in a wonderful place. Detox for screens and phones. - Nice place, with everything. The heating system is very efficient, and the place is a paradise. There is no cell phone sign. Nothing.

• Weixu (7/5): Lovely location and place to disconnect. - The location is absolutely stunning!! Middle of the beautiful forest and at the border of France and Belgium! The scenery was magical whether it was morning, midday or evening. As there were no big buildings or neighbours nearby you really felt connected to the nature. There were a few water streams from which we filled our bottles to drink (we did use the Larq bottles to disinfect before drinking, thought did try it raw as wel, very refreshing). The building is cosy and a bit old thus full of character. As we are from UK there was no mobile signal nor WiFi in the house so you are truly disconnected. the host provided some great guides to local scenery! Everything was in French so Google translator came very handy. However, since there was no mobile signal nor WiFi in the house I couldn't really understand any of the notes nor manuals, the closest WiFi spot we got was in Florenville (beautiful Belgian village). I've feedback to the host so maybe in the future will have an English version of key notes and manuals. Mobile signal and WiFi is a bit double edged sword in this case. Might be good if you really want to disconnect... Not so good if scheduled an online lecture for you child... Unfortunately the absolute worse for us was ladybirds... Might be the season but the house was full of them, glad they are harmless but it seems they've nested in the house. We were able to vacuum most of them so weren't a nuisance after the second night.
