Guest Reviews
- Balau (10/5): - It's an amazing location, both peaceful and beautiful. It was perfect for what we wanted from the week.
- Lana (10/5): - Owners were lovely. The cottage was nice and warm when we arrived and greeted with freshly baked cake. A very comfortable stay, spacious for the whole family and very clean. Only 10 minutes out of Healesville. Thank you for your hospitality.
- Gem (10/5): - It was beautiful and the hosts were so welcoming!
- Kristina (10/5): Healesville haven at Lavender Farm - Tony and Jacky were extremely generous hosts and their homemade cake and bread were sensational!
- Fabio (8/5): - All N/A
- Mona (10/5): - The view and the size of the property was amazing. Trees, animals, farm life. The host was lovely. The walnut cake and the bread was delicious. Loved staying over at the lavender farms. Liked everything
- Whitney (10/5): - Tony & Jacky were so respectful of privacy while also being friendly and hospitable. They left us some amazing delicious cake that I NEED the recipe for, a freshly baked loaf of bread, fresh marmalade, eggs & bacon! We were blown away by the stacked kitchen when we arrived. It was the most lovely, cozy abode & we love fur babies so we're so happy to meet Luca & Lily.
- ectyeung (10/5): - Checked in expecting ordinary. Ended up noticing tiny details everywhere that made us smile. Fascinating stay. Only downside was leaving too soon. We could happily have stayed longer.
- Jenny (8/5): - Very nicely presented with cut flowers in most rooms, and good quality food
- Greg (9/5): A great country escape not too far from the city. - Great location, just a short drive to Healesville township and Yarra Valley wineries but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful serenity of a country property. And pets allowed provided an added bonus. The resident dogs were friendly and welcoming without being a nuisance. The house itself is family size and exudes character and country charm. The wrap around balcony/deck provided a peaceful place to rest and enjoy the views across the farm and to the hills. I recommend this place, particularly for families and those with pets. While the beds, bathrooms and kitchen benchtops were sufficiently cleaned, the whole property would benefit from a deep clean.
- Jevanath (10/5): Memorable stay with lots of moments to cherish. - All None

- Tanya (9/5): Cosy, warm, friendly and everything you need in a home away from home 🩷 - Absolutely loved the home baked bread and cake as well as the fresh eggs, bacon and juice. The views from the verandah were stunning. We loved our stay but if you like 100% privacy the fact that the hosts are on the same property may be a deterrent. This didn’t bother us. Tony and jacky are friendly and amazing hosts.
- Francine (10/5): - The house and grounds were beautiful - horses, a pond with ducks, colorful birds outside the kitchen. The owner had prepared fresh bread, cake and breakfast items for our stay. Kids had a blast playing in the yard. -

- Samantha (9/5): Great hosts and a lovely place away from citylife - Lovely hosts who gave us homemade bread n cake. We prepared the breakfast with the bacon n eggs given. Tony is very patient and understanding towards my queries. We enjoyed the stay, away from citylife, very nice view. My family had opportunities to feed the horses, play with the dogs, collect eggs from chicken pen.
House is spacious and there is a fireplace for us to use. Aircon unit had heaters which is lovely for this winter.
First time doing a farm stay, I must say it's overall a good experience. Thankfully we rent a car which is much needed to go from point to point.
Thank you hosts for your kindness. The baking oven didn't seem to work when we tried to use. The pedals of the bin in bathrooms are not working and we had to manually open the lid to throw rubbish. But it wasn't a major disruption to our stay so we gave feedback only towards the end of our stay. And Tony is very receptive to the feedback.
- Alicia (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Country charm with comfort. - The property is what you would hope for when staying in Yarra Valley. It had loads of charm and character, beautiful country outlook and stunning sunsets. A lovely welcoming touch on arrival of freshly baked walnut cake and homemade bread. We loved everything about this house.

- Helen (10/5): Lavender Farm ….a tranquil setting and where you can relax and enjoy - It was lovely to be in a rural setting with a view of hills and beautiful sunsets. The house was spacious with a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We loved the open fire with plenty of wood. Jackie had made the place warm before we arrived and had a beautiful freshly baked cake for us to enjoy. Such a comfortable Lavender farm with all the comforts we needed. We couldn’t find any faults with the property at all.
- Hugo (10/5): Exceptional - We had the whole house to ourselves, the owner Tony and Jacky (and their very friendly dogs) made our stay very welcoming, feels like a home away from home. The surrounding area is also very scenic to explore. Highly recommended for families visiting the region.

- Linda (8/5): Nice location - The property was in a nice location and shabby chic, could do with updating in places. The breakfast left was lovely especially the cake and homemade bread. We loved the birdlife and the grounds were nice. Good location for Yarra valley and Healesville and especially the sanctuary which was superb. It wasn’t a problem to us but if you don’t like dogs this maybe isn’t the property for you.

- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Rana (10/5): Comfy farm stay, a home away from home! - A home away from home. We had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days away in the country. The gardens and mountains were beautiful backdrops. We enjoyed the bird visitors who were very insistent upon being fed seeds over fruit and came up to the kitchen window to tell us so.
The house was lovely and very spacious. Beds and couches were comfortable.
The breakfast provisions were plentiful and appreciated.
We loved being able to bring our dog too. She enjoyed exploring, meeting the horses and playing with the resident dogs.

A true bed and breakfast property Nothing - everything was perfect

We were also supplied with a substantial breakfast and beautiful home made bread and cake. This place not only provided comfortable and clean accommodation but also a fun and memorable experience.

- Chen (10/5): Exceptional - Thank you Jackie and Tony. Your details are sensational. Really appreciate the card and cake. You guys had made my baby dada's birthday so so special. Thank you.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful house in a great location. My mother and I went for a weekend away and it was perfect. We enjoyed the included breakfast in the morning and then went for a walk down to the dam and enjoyed a cup of tea by the water. Was very peaceful.
- Darryn (7/5): It was a decent stay, but it could be greatly improved if the issues mentioned were addressed - We had a great experience staying on the farm. We especially enjoyed picking lavender, lemons, and grapefruit. We stayed for two nights, and while breakfast was included, there was no food refill on the second morning. Additionally, the hot water tank was too small, so by the second night, three of us were unable to bathe due to the hot water being depleted. We contacted the owner and were informed that nothing could be done until the following day, so we had to wait for the hot water to be restored. Also, the Internet connection was very poor.
- Loh (10/5): Exceptional - It was one of my best stays in Melbourne. Cosy and fully equipped. Highly recommended with young children. A very accommodating house owner. Highly recommended!
- April (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Family accommodation - Such a beautiful home with everything you need including a delicious homemade cake and breakfast supplies. Fantastic facilities, particularly loved the open fireplace and dining room. Great for multiple families to stay together comfortably. Good value for money which is always appreciated. Nothing major but a previous guest had left mess in the drip-tray of the grill. The main bathroom had a few lights that were not working. Otherwise it was fantastic.
- Valerie (10/5): A delightful stay with a warm host, delicious homemade breakfast, charming touches, and a spacious h - My family and I recently had a wonderful stay at this lovely accommodation and can’t recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast essentials waiting for us in the fridge, bacon, eggs, milk, and deliciously freshly squeezed juice. The home-made cake and bread were exceptional; I couldn't get enough of them!
The little touches throughout the house, like the lavender buds and kumquats, created a charming and inviting atmosphere. I was also impressed by the size of the house—it was much larger than I had anticipated, providing plenty of space to relax.
Jacky, our host, was incredibly welcoming and made a point to come by and say hi. Meeting their two adorable dogs was an added bonus! We even had the delightful experience of feeding the birds as soon as we arrived, which was a perfect way to start our stay.
Overall, this accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way. I look forward to returning!
- Walz (9/5): Superb - Beautiful breakfast and lovely views!!
- Keryn (9/5): Tranquil stay closeby amenities - thoroughly recommended - It is a beautiful house in a quiet, country environment with views of trees, fields and gardens. It has an extremely efficient Coonara wood fire which was alight when we arrived (thank you) as it was a chilly winter day. We kept it stoked for the length of our stay, our wood supply was refilled as if by magic!! and we didn’t need to use the reverse cycle heating at all. There were farm fresh eggs and bacon for our breakfast and the kitchen is extremely well set up with just about everything one could want to use. We enjoyed watching the birdlife out the kitchen/dining room windows also. It isn’t far out of Healesville, so it was easy to pop in there for a meal. We had such a comfortable stay that it will be high on our list for a revisit. Many thanks. There was nothing to dislike.
