• Megan (8/5): Absolute breeze to stay at the ocean breeze - Looooove the backyard and location, and the air conditioning 😍 Great value for the price. Older house which wouldn't suit those who don't appreciate that style.
• Rachael (10/5): - Comfortable, clean and 1 minute from the beach. Was more than we expected with the house hold supplies ie shampoo, conditioner, body wash and kitchen goods. Pet friendly and a lovely backyard. Nothing to pin point.

• Desiree (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay in Moonta. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious, with good-sized rooms that worked perfectly for our family. The backyard was a real highlight — safe and secure for the kids to play freely and plenty of room for our dog as well. We also loved having secure parking and access to great facilities like a washing machine and BBQ, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. It was a lovely, family-friendly place to stay and we’d happily come back.

The ad did not clearly mention that there was no bedding, which I only found out after I had already paid—this was misleading. Additionally, the day before booking a second stay, the owner contacted me about our dogs being inside the house. They are strictly outdoor dogs, and they were securely kept in the backyard for the entire duration of our stay. Despite this, the owner threatened us with an additional cleaning fee, on top of the $80 I had already paid. Throughout the communication, the owner's behavior was rude and unprofessional, raising concerns about their intentions. I will definitely not be booking with this property again and would not recommend it to others. She's also promised a full refund, but I've yet to see that arrive. • Danny (10/5): Great hosts great location loved the local shops will definitely be back loved our stay and tourist spots like the local - We loved Ocean Breeze clean close to everything including the beach our dogs loved the yard they didn’t want to leave bbq was amazing to cook on too And asked if we could bring our own fire pit and they said no problem and had a location in the yard for it so we loved that too Would of been nice to have a light over the bbq and the steps front and back were a bit steep Oh a fire pit would be a great addition too on cold nights

Had a nice enclosed backyard for our little dog to run around and explore, a carport to park the car under also a nice verandah out back to sit under and breakfast eat. Had everything you would need to have a comfortable stay.🙂 That we had to leave to come home.

• Hughes (8/5): A nice stay overall. - The property was clean, tidy and a good sized back yard. Everything was close by and easy access. Some maintenance to the house needs to be looked at. Tiles in the laundry were lifting off completely and with barefeet children running around this was a bit of a hazard. The shower glass door needs to be replaced, as I went to slide the door it was off the rollers and after some investigating on the door, you could see the whole top rail of the shower was lifting and not securing the door down at all. A big safety issue especially with children using the bathroom. The vacuum puts out a terrible smell, it might need replacing.

• Graeme (7/5): Really liked the place and location. Big fan of Moonta/Port Hughes anyway. So - thank you guys! - Great location - a few minutes walk to the beach and cafe. Good kitchen facilities. Big yard. Generally very clean. This was very last minute for us - so we were grateful that it was still available. Guessing they probably had a cancellation - as was v.high season! Great they had a Smart TV - downside that there is no wifi! But by tethering my phone and using a tablet I was able to get SBS streaming and Netflix on the TV. These are positive/constructive comments for the owners. One of the two of us is quite allergic to pet hair. It was only after we booked and read the reviews that we realised that "pets can be welcome"! We took precautions with us - medications and drop sheets and things turned out quite ok. Could be a good idea to mention this in the ad - and maybe do a deep clean every now and again. The point about comfort - the modular lounge is incredibly soft and almost impossible to sit on (especially with a bad back) without lots of cushions! Just a couple of thoughts!

• Gail (10/5): Fantastic - Home Away From Home!! - It was a cosy home away from home! Neat, tidy and clean! We were impressed with the facilities, they had everything that was needed. Location was great, a short walk to the beach. We could not have asked for anything more!

Our dog loved the property and was settled where normally he is nervous and just wants to go home. The beds were super comfortable which is half of the battle won with accommodation. Would definitely stay there again. Recommendation maybe to get full length mirrors on back of the kids bedroom door. Teenage daughter missed having a larger mirror and the bathroom mirror got crowded at times with her in front of it all the time.

• Rebecca (8/5): A really comfortable beach stay. - We really enjoyed the beach theme decor and the location. The house was within walking distance of the beach which the kids loved. We found the beds and lounge very comfortable which was great to come home to after a busy day. I found the kitchen a tad squeezy especially with kids under foot. I also would have appreciated some more cupboard space to store our groceries as we ate in for the duration of our stay.

Plenty of dvds but Netflix maybe handy for nights….. instead we had drinks and watched the sunset. lucky the kids stayed home!

Debbi and Tony kept up communication and when i messaged in regards to small issue with hot water it was resolved instantly. They allowed my little dog inside which also made it a better holiday for me not having the anxiety and worry of leaving her anywhere else. • Nicole (10/5): The perfect Pet Friendly getaway - Location was fantastic, a few blocks from the beach. There was everything you could need, and it was clean and comfortable. The yard was well secured and a good space for the dogs to have a run around and sniff, and it was a true 'Pet Friendly' property where the dogs were allowed to be with us inside. There is nothing we didn't like about the accommodation. It was exactly what we needed it to be
