• Vassiliki (10/5): Cosy family home by the sea - The location was perfect. Huge backyard. Kitchen was a good size with a large bench for preparing food/ breakfast. Kids room was seperate and lots of toys and games for the kids to play with. Beds were comfy, and I loved how every room had their own air conditioning. The bathroom was modern and great water pressure. Good quality/ clean washing machine with extra laundry powder if needed. There was nothing we could fault with the home. We can’t wait to stay here again in September. There was nothing to fault.

• Jessica (10/5): Very welcoming and homey stay. We stayed with another family, it was a very family friendly environment - Property location was excellent and plenty of room in the kitchen. Bedroom with 2 bunks had an abundance of toys for all ages.
• Brodie (8/5): Overall good experience - Location is amazing. Quiet area but still very close to the jetty. The place has most things you need. Including toys for the kids to play with. Door to get into kids room was hard to get into. Window in kids room was broken and would not open fully for fresh air. Back yard was abit rough on the eye but that's not really why your there so didn't bother me. The code generated for the key box was wrong but I called and they answered straight away.

Nice backyard. Activities and toys for kids. Curtains were dusty, rooms smell a bit musty! Pet hair and dust on sofas!! Electric kettle in the kitchen is faulty needs replacing!!

• Mabel Warner (10/5): Comfy, perfect, awesome. Always come back - As always, love the location. Love the area, love the house. Had an issue with plumbing and instantly a plumber was called and then issue resolved. This is about the 4th time I have stayed at Dell's.

• Devlin (8/5): The cottage was well laid and comfortable - The location was excellent. A short walk to the beach area. Very quiet, would stay again Access into the property wasn't great. I was with my elderly mother, who struggled with the steps, to access the verandah. Steps too high, same to access the back yard area. Worried she was going too fall. Easier access would be great.

Only issue was the noisy blinds that bang on the posts and the vents that open and close when the wind blows ( which being an ex moonta resident is most of the time) the plumbing also makes a racket when anyone showers but it did not impact our stay We had a good time👍 See above Some would say the single beds are overly firm

• Lucy (9/5): Lovely place. - It was very clean and a perfect location. Amazing big back garden with a bbq. My little one loved the toys. I got send a wrong code through the app and I called the owner of the house and he answered straight away to help. The shower was like a jet wash and flooded the bathroom, everything else was great.

• Julietta (2/5): An expensive disappointment, definitely somewhere I will not return. - Amazing location right near the Moonta beach and waterpark It might be a good place to stay with kids, because it’s a short walk from the beach/water park, has a kids’ room with toys and a big (empty, ugly and bare) back yard. But for an adult travelling without children, for pleasure, this was not an enjoyable experience. It’s not a house - it’s a shack (sadly not at shack prices!), and it’s what you’d expect from a shack: it is shabby, grotty and dilapidated. It was also cold (air con in main room is very blowy, but not warm). The standard of cleaning left a little, actually a lot, to be desired and it didn’t smell good. This is very, very ‘basic’ accommodation - the most basic I’ve ever stayed in from an online booking. Last but not least it was advertised as having a bathtub, but there was no plug - maybe some find it amusing to sit and watch the water run, but I actually would have liked to fill the tub. It’s also quite noisy, with constant traffic passing and a lot of heavy vehicles slowing and turning in the T intersection right in front. The communication from the hosts was also pretty terrible.
• Susan (6/5): Weekend away from city life - Location is ideal for anyone wanting close proximity to the beach, and walking distance to Ye Olde Cafe for a coffee. Very clean and tidy, spacious living area and bathroom. Good choice for small families wanting to be close to beach. Location is the best feature. Shower head as others have reported needs replacing as it’s powerful but old, harsh spray that floods the bathroom, which has no drain.

• Ingrames (9/5): Superb - Kitchen well equipped with pots and pans and electrical appliances. Large fridge. Washer and dryer. Heating throughout. Very good hot water. Easy access to beach. The shower head was terrible and needs to be replaced. Pegs to hang out washing were all mostly broken. Would've needed to purchase some but was able to borrow from nearby family. Outdoor bins were pretty full and smelly. Looked like they hadn't been emptied for a while.

• David (9/5): Great place, would recommend! - The house is in a great location, is clean & comfortable with good facilities, there is very little to criticise. The only things I would improve would be the shower head, fresh batteries in the remote controls for the AV gear and some written instructions on the operation of the stove/oven.

A great stay. Lighting in kitchen very poor, shower head not adjustable, light in lounge when fan is on is quite horrible the light strobes.

Quiet location, walking distance to the jetty. Look at the drains in bath room, some smell coming from them. Also the shower head might need some CLR, appeared to be some homes were blocked (minor issues)
• Katarzyna (10/5): Fabulous place, great value for money. Excellent location - Loved how spacious it felt, and how close it was to the beach. We would walk a few times a day down to the jetty or the beach side it was so close. Liked that there was aircon units in almost all the rooms. Beautiful updated kitchen and bathroom. A little dark in the "kids" bedroom, not sure if a brighter light bukb could be put in there possibly? Not a big deal though overall. Also perhaps some printed out instructions in the kitchen for easier use of the oven (for us oldies that don't know what the symbols mean please). Would love to come back and stay again. Very kind owners and responsive to messages after we had trouble with the lock box code.

• Sandi (9/5): A great holiday house. - The house is very comfortable with updated open plan living and kitchen (well stocked with kitchenware).The bathroom was also updated and very clean. The main bedroom was a great size and bed was very comfortable. We did not use the other two bedrooms. Air conditioners and ceiling fans created a cool house when needed. The sunsets are amazing. Instructions in booking was to bring own sheets and towels which we did. But we were shocked to discover that this also meant bring own blankets as well as pillows. This needs to be clearer in written instructions.

• Melanie (8/5): Nice get away for the family, but time to try elsewhere perhaps - We liked the proximity to the Moonta and what we wanted to see. We had issues with the washing machine but after cleaning out the bottom filter 3 times we were able to get it to work properly.

• Lee (5/5): Needs a good scrub and update with linen and furnishings - Location was good... The quality of the linen Paid $15 a head for 4 x thin sheets ,2 x thin barely filled doonas and 3 x thin towels We were freezing and had to sleep in our clothes for warmth as the bedding was so poor.

• Kelly (10/5): Absolutely amazing last minute stay in a beautiful home - Absolutely loved our stay, the kids loved the playroom and was absolutely stoked when they discovered how many toys there was! Plenty of movies to pick from and made it easy to settle the kids at night. The Xbox controllers unfortunately didn’t work with the console but this wasn’t a huge deal for us. Advised on checkout the tv remotes needed battery replacements and the owner was on the ball and said they’ll be replaced same day!

Confusion over provision of quilts and pillows. This needs to be deleted from the Important Details in the listing as they are not provided as stated. 3 wine glasses. Vacuum cleaner didn't work. No DVDs for the adults, all kids.

• Timothy (7/5): We had an amazing time and the minor issues were not enough to prevent us coming again. Thank you - I loved the shower out the back and the area for preparing fish or seafood if you caught any. The toys for the children were an excellent addition. The location is very good to the jetty and beach. It is also close to food locations. I did not like that the toilet cistern was leaking all night and you could hear the running water. One of the bedside cabinets was broken and my lap top fell off. I was lucky that it did not break. There is one chair to the childrens table and chairs that has damage and may be a hazard if children use them incorrectly.

There is everything you require inside and a lovely BBQ outside The shower was very hard to turn on and off as it was dripping after a shower. We found the stove hard to work as we're all gas. There could maybe a note saying how to operate it also being black it was difficult to read the knobs. Double bed off lounge room has mattress springs digging into you. Only minor things but maybe should be addressed for future users.

Had to call contact number (Darryl) to get code for lockbox. Didn't receive an email with info on entering the property. Got it sorted pretty quickly.
• Mabel (10/5): So perfect I keep coming back again and again - We love coming here. The house is clean and tidy, has a games room for the kids. A big backyard to play in even though it's dirt the kids still have fun. There is an outside shower for when you go to the beach, a fishing sink for cleaning those fish you want to cook after you have caught them. Hot water is great if you don't have multiple baths. It s just down the road from the Splash Park and the beach. Beautiful prime location and lovely people who own the house.
