- Melb1987 (10/5): Great base for beach holiday! - It was such a great experience being in a short stay amongst locals. The check-in and check-out was seamless and the communication with Claudia was exceptional. We have never had such outstanding customer service. She was always helpful and really quick to respond to all our queries and even provided suggestions and booked trips on our behalf on the island. The house is very clean and Maria does an exceptional job everyday maintaining the house perfectly clean. Overall, it is such a nice and affordable place to stay . It is very big house with a lot of space for your kids to run around. The hammocks out the back are bliss! Our only negatives were that two of the rooms had a lot of light coming through the blinds overnight and that the beds have mainly foam mattresses and varied in comfort levels. There is also no hot water which is very common on the island. It was ok for the adults but it was too cold for our baby to wash properly.
- Brian (8/5): Comfortable house in a quiet and safe residential area a 15 min ride from the centre - Big comfortable house with daily visits by a very nice lady called Maria, who does the cleaning. The AC is great in every bedroom. The host Claudia, makes sure to get back to you very quickly and efficiently, this included tips on booking other services The kitchen utensils were not enough for our family. I had to request additional plates and knives. Only plastic glasses were available. The owner very kindly purchased and provided more, but for a property like this the expectation is at least 7 plates for each guest (max capacity). He explained that guests break crockery. Whilst we had AC in the bedrooms, there's only one fan in the living room. We don't sleep with AC the entire night so my advice is to invest in at least one more fan. There is no dishwasher and the cleaner does not provide this service. Her service is exclusively to clean and tidy the rooms. She is happy to do it if requested and for a tip.
