Guest Reviews
was man braucht. Liebevoll alles gemacht und
Sehr sauber.
- Heike (8/5): - Sehr besonders! Liebevoll eingerichtet und durchdacht! Bei schlechten Wetter könnte es eng werden...
- Michaël (4/5): - The location is excellent, good for walking. The sheets weren't clean and the matresses are very bad. The toilet and shower are outside. The wifi hardly works. The curtains are totally the wrong size and much too small. There is no light in the cooking corner. There was a lamp on the table that didn't work. The place is very overpriced. The host doesn't make the impression to make a serious effort to make the place nice.
- Natalia (3/5): -
- RoxannevanZutphen (10/5): - Mooie locatie, leuke uitstraling

- Alexander (7/5): Puur natuur in kliffengebied - - prachtige omgeving
- Neredera (8/5): -
- Paulien (9/5): Cute getaway - Very cute house overlooking the green valley. It’s comfortable and has all you need for a little getaway. The yellow tram to Bad Schandau stops at walking distance. Loved the outdoor shower!
- Max (7/5): Small cozy hut close to civilization - Relativly accessible by transit but in an extremly green and foresty area. The matresses were also realy great and it truly felt like ypur won little outdoor cabin. Some equipment was missing (no sponges, kitchen towel, etc) and its quite expensive for being so barebone. Also some more convenient chairs would be great for the patio.
- Hannah (8/5): Cosy place - Good place for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and cosy. The location is a bit out of town but there is a bus nearby. It was quiet and peaceful. It would have been nice if the owners provided a few basic cooking items like oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and milk.
It was a bit cold when we went so it's better for warmer nights.
- Philip (7/5): Simple accommodation well located for walking the Malerweg. - Well located for walking the Malerweg simple accomodation the outside shower was fun and got hot very quickly It was all very basic - the curtains don’t properly cover the windows so light got into the room at night - the host said they would get the facilities details changed as there is NO restaurant or cafe on site
- Avigail (10/5): Exceptional - Really stunning view, a gorgeous little cabin. The outside shower was a special touch. All was perfect
- Dotan (7/5): Basic cabin if you want to avoid the over-priced hotels in Bad Schandau. - Nice small cabin hut, fully equipped, location is good for hiking.
Host act on reviews he added electric heater and we were warm and cozy even early in spring.
Outdoor toilet and shower are clean and nice. It's not really in nature, its a small cabin overlooking the river and road.
Zero privacy, its 10 meters from the nextdoor house with no curtains on the window so you feel fully exposed.
Bed was not that comfortable.
The only place to eat dinner is a few km away so if you are hiking you have to plan ahead and eat on the way (not an issue, just need to be aware of it)
- Fernandez (5/5): Passable - No breakfast. I couldn´t get my jacket back
- Pilot63 (7/5): Good low budget option, perfect for single travelers. - I can confirm information form previous reviews.
It's almost out of the city, but bus and historical tram stops are nearby. Good spot to stay for 1 night and start explore the National park. The pass to the main house has lights with sensors - every time somebody passes, it's turning on.
It's a summerhouse (without heating)? so be ready that in the morning could be cold.
- Sergei (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (6/5): Cosy cabin near some great walks - Very cosy and cute cabin in the woods with very comfortable beds. Hosts were friendly and helped us access the keys to the property. Shower and toilet were outside which was tricky at night. Shower didn’t seem to have much hot water. It would be good to add curtains to the windows as well.
- Grigori (9/5): Superb - Cosy and beautiful place. So calm, an peaceful.
Excellent location with all necessary equipment.
For exploring the area really good option. It was a little bit moisture inside.
- Fred (8/5): Very good -
- Daria (7/5): Good - A very beautiful place, we liked the road to the house. As an entertainment, there is an old tram (it reaches the waterfall), the cost of which is 6 euros, but it's worth it. The house is small, but it has everything you need. We used the kitchen stove for cooking and saved money on restaurants. There is also a small refrigerator. The shower was warm. I think the rental price is worth this house There is not enough microwave oven to cook food faster. One pillow was with a holofiber, the other with a duck down. There was some sand on the sheet. The toilet is in the house, but on the other side of the house, so you need to leave the room to get there.
- Bogdan (9/5): Superb - Fabulous garden and a cozy tiny house just for us. Fully equipped kitchen. The hot outdoor shower is a beautiful treat. The location couldn't be better, in the heart of the spectacular park of Swiss Saxony. Totally recommend it for weekends or short stays.
- Alexandra (7/5): Loved the house but communication with the owner needs to be improved to ensure people are not standing outside in the r - very sweet little house with all the required cooking facilities etc and easy to find the wifi did not work inside the house so we had to stand in the rain in the driveway to make plans for the next day
- Carlota (10/5): Very good place for those who are looking for disconnection and pure nature. - The location, the sound the river nearby. The pillows, to big. Thanks that they have spare ones under the sleep table.
