Would have been nice to have been forewarned of the planned power outage from 10.am - 3.30 which also meant no water.

While there was no wifi, there were plenty of DVDs and games and puzzles and the kids were happy with ABC for Kids. We really enjoyed our stay.

• Ralph (8/5): Bay of Fires Beach Shack is in a great location for sightseeing in the area. Loved the views. - THE VIEWS. Great that there was a dishwasher, washing machine and also a bbq. Loved the ensuite bathroom with all the light coming in. The views were fabulous The internal windows in the living room needed cleaning along with the floors. The table and chairs outside were wobbly and needed tightening. A lot of the lights were not working. The blinds could do with replacing. Unfortunately, due to bad weather we were without power and water for some time.

Great size for a large group of adults and the games room was a great bonus space. Disappointed there was no clothes dryer. Showers would benefit having some kind of shelving to put personal toiletries. Also surprised that there wasn’t a tv in the main bedroom. Downstairs double needs two bedside tables.

The ensuite is beautiful but a door on the ensuite would be awesome to prevent so much light coming into the bedroom at night.

• Kathy (9/5): Superb - The home is in a great location and the views are amazing. We arrived during the flooding storms in Oct 2022 and the home felt like a safe sanctuary. It is a very well resourced home and, due to the weather, we made use of the jigsaw puzzles and DVD's provided whilst viewing the storms unfold on Binalong Bay. Although a beautiful ensuite bathroom some windows made it feel less than private. A blind or covering of some form on the window beside the vanity would be useful.
