Guest Reviews
- Anne (10/5): lovely hidden gem - beautiful spa and fire table it had a hint of wet dog smell
- Lynette (10/5): -
- Therese (7/5): Comfy, high price for pretty basic accom - Quiet, location to Coolum, cleanliness, comfortable bed No oven, lack of microwave cookware, water damaged sink cupboard in bathroom, unit hard to find in unnamed lane, no stubby holders

- David (9/5): - Lovely little house perfect for a couple for a few days. Nothing
- Sonya (8/5): Rekaxibg - Still central and quiet Access via easement and no yard
- Elizabeth (9/5): Overall a great property to escape the hustle of any busy city with the added bonus of being close enough to all major s - The location & privacy of the property was excellent. The size is more than enough for 2 people and a lot more kitchenware for both the bbq and kitchenette than anticipated. Huge fridge and freezer, plenty of storage. No negatives.
- Renee (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): We had a fabulous time! - The cottage was beautifully presented and cosy. All of the amenities you need are there. Loved that we could bring our little dog. Would absolutely come back Nothing
- Paul (8/5): -
- Alexandria (6/5): - Good location. Nice spa and outdoor area. Bed was uncomfortable, we stayed in winter and there were no additional blankets to put on the bed. Only a throw blanket.
Dog friendly stay but dog has access to the full underneath of the house, unknown what is under there. There was a rat bait box on the deck with crumbs etc around it. We moved it on arrival but not impressed for a pet friendly stay.
- Letesha (10/5): -
- Nicole (10/5): - Stunning and private, the perfect end to our holiday. Hosts were informative and we could troubleshoot everything easily thanks to their information
- Scott (10/5): My wife and I had a wonderful time. A very relaxing stay. - It’s a magic little place tucked away at the back of coolum beach. The entry is via an easement. it’s not practical to drive down the easement. as a result it is very quiet except for some bird song. It looks like the owners have raised the privacy wall around spa area which is great.
The owners is very responsive and was quick to respond to any queries
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brent (10/5): Exceptional - Wife & I (& puppy) stayed here for a long weekend to attend a wedding in town and absolutely loved the place. Quiet, cosy, clean with all amenities we needed. The spa is the Star 🌟 here we spent a lot of time relaxing in it. 3 minute drive to Stumer Beach/ Creak for dog friendly swim or run is super handy.
- Lee (10/5): Romantic getaway or mini-break - this cottage has it all! - The property was kept up really nicely. It was a very quiet place with a very private deck and spa. The spa was hot and ready to use when we got there, and the deck has a fire table, which was a pleasant surprise. The beach, neighbourhood supermarkets, and a variety of dining options were all close by. We were pleasantly surprised by this property. Without a doubt, we would return. The bio should include that there is an Aldi coffee machine. Although the host did provide this information on the day of check in we didn't see this until we were already on our way.

- Gobits (7/5): Great location , great price - the property was close to the shops , it was clean , spacious and had all the mod cons .... It wa shard to find , down an alley way , and the neighbours on the property where a little noisey . The bed was uncomfortable and the tv antenna kept dropping out ...

- Sherratt (9/5): Cute place 😍 - Was a perfect place for us and our dog. Absolutely loved it! The spa and firepit just topped it off! We didn't want to leave. Was hard to get a hold of the owner. There was a mobile number given to us if needed but had no replies as I had lost a small black bag with my wallet in it. Had called numerous times ,sent emails and txt messages but no reply at all? Even tried to call to see if we could stay an extra night but still no reply? Being summer it was hot. There's no aircon or fan in the bedroom. Only thing I could fault.
- Tahlia (6/5): Very comfortable once inside… - The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful—a charming, cozy retreat near the beach. The interior was spotless, well-decorated, and created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. Being so close to the ocean was definitely a highlight, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to unwind.
Unfortunately, there were a few downsides to our stay. The access to the cottage was tricky, and with the rain, it made getting to and from the car quite unpleasant. We had to deal with mosquitoes and even some cane toads along the way, which wasn’t ideal. Additionally, I was surprised that no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash was provided. Every other stay I’ve had has included these basics, so I hadn’t packed any, assuming it would be provided—especially given the location near the beach.
While the cottage itself was lovely, these inconveniences mean I wouldn’t stay here again. However, for anyone who doesn’t mind the challenges of access and comes well-prepared, it could still be a nice getaway spot. Unfortunately, there were a few downsides to our stay. - Peaceaye (8/5): Very cute and clean property. Sucks that we went when it was raining! - Spa was amazing! Was already warm when we got there! Everything was super clean too! Loved the warm ambient lighting in the room. Bed was comfortable and lots of storage (although we didn’t really use it). Definitely a good place for a short stay. No gas to light up the fire outside :( sink in the bathroom is so small and the mirror cabinet above the sink takes up so much space. I could barely wash my face. Also not a big fan of the hot plates😂
- Keely (7/5): Good - Loved the outdoor area, very private and cosy.
Inside was nice and clean but lacked space. Couldn’t really lay on the couch together and watch tv but it was still very nice and cosy The small lounge and the fact that there were tenants right behind us
- Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (7/5): We had a lovely relaxing time- it would have been really perfect if the spa had heated... - The little cottage was really lovely- all you would need for a short/ or longer stay. The jacuzzi did not heat at all- we were really looking forward to this part of the short break- it was one of the reasons for us choosing this property. We did try to contact Samantha- but we heard nothing back at all when we asked for advice about heating spa.
- Robyn (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable, well -equipped, quiet, but near Central Coolum.
- Timbomc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - The Cottge was very clean. The kitched had everything you’ll need. We loved the pool, exactly what we needet on these rainy and cold evenings❤️
- Kirsty (10/5): Cute cottage with everything you need - Perfect night to relax in between moving house. The spa was fabulous
- Vout (8/5): Very good - The cottage was hard to find up a long grassy lane way which was hard to take luggage and had no lighting for nights. Parking was on the street.
- Maree (8/5): It was a lovely overnight stay for what I needed - It was cosy and comfortable and the spa was amazing after a busy day. The hard to access location in a grass easement made it difficult to find the property and get my luggage into the premises
- Christina (8/5): Very good -
- Geoff (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Spa Neighbours lights over the back where blazing in our eyes all night while on deck. Felt very on show..
- Frank (10/5): Great place to seat back and recharge - Loved it , from the quiet location to the comfortable bed , plenty of natural light and a beautiful outside sitting area with a spa Nothing really
- Luke (9/5): Superb -
- Debbie (8/5): Short getaway - Peaceful location
Short walk to beach Entrance, when it's dark there's no lights and long grass, it's at the back of a house.
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Missymoo (8/5): Good location, quiet and clean - Good location, quiet, clean and dog friendly. It was a flat easy walk to shops, cafes and beach. We didn't like having to walk through the grass verge to access the property as the grass was very long and we couldn't see if there were holes, snakes. Our shoes, pants and dog got wet walking through the grass. Our dog also got covered in grass seeds.
I'm well aware the grass verge would be managed by council and there has been an enormous amount of rain, so mowing may have been an issue.
It was also quite dark when arriving home at night as there was little street lighting and the lights along the fence weren't working.
- Trevor (10/5): Overall very happy set out really well. - The property was clean and just right for us. Walking distance to beach. Wasn’t happy to park the car in the street.
- Thea (10/5): We had a fantasy weekend away. Lovely cottage and close to everything without being in the middle of the hussle and Buss - Very relaxing, private and peaceful
- Debbie (7/5): Good - The environment was relaxing A person showing up on our first afternoon claiming they had the venue booked and wanting to wait on the property. This was awkward and caused anxiety to wether we needed to pack up and leave.
- Nigel (9/5): Very enjoyable. We would have loved to stay there for a few nights - Most everything Access was a little difficult as we were travelling with a lot of luggage
- Nicholas (6/5): Wouldn’t stay there again - Only after confirming booking the access was described and it was up a grass alley way behind the house - not happy
- Judy (10/5): A lovely relaxing palce for a getaway. - It was very comfortable, quiet, conveniently located and beautifully appointed. Nothing
- Simon (9/5): We had a very relaxing 3 day stay and enjoyed the lovely homely touches and all the facilities. - Fantastic quiet location, handy to beach, cafes etc. Found the address and access hidden (with no sign) so confusing to find. Had to knock on a neighbours door to ask. someone's door to ask.
- Mo (10/5): Beautiful place perfect little retreat -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - Property was extremely clean and great location Nothing
- Amy (9/5): very private cottage, close enough to town to walk, quiet area. - the location was great, short walk to shops, nice and quiet location. Spa was great. pillow was very tall for my liking, but very minor thing.
- Tina (9/5): Quiet and relaxed - Quiet
Great location
Flexible hosts
Perfect size Nothing
- Peta (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (9/5): Excellent accommodation. - Great location and very comfortable. Nil
- Hanh (6/5): Spa was the only highlight of the stay - The spa was really great. The beach was a 15 minute walk. There was a long grass easement to get to the actual property and if walking at night time you need a torch. It smelt like cigarette inside the house, especially the couch and cushions. The check out instructions required us to strip the bedsheets and pillows and there is also a $200 bond required to be sent to the owners by bank transfer or PayPal after you book. The wifi was pretty much non existent and did not work at all!
It is dog friendly however there is no gate when you get into the outdoor patio area where the spa is which meant our dog could go down and under the house and it felt unsafe.
- Courtney (8/5): Very good -
- Cindy (9/5): A beautiful cottage, ideal for a weekend getaway with your loved one. - The property was cute and just enough for 2 people and within walking distance to most locations. Nothing to mention.
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heidi (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to communicate and check in, great amenities, quiet area but close-ish to where we need to be, having the spa there was a bonus, close to the airport (heads up for getting taxi, you'll need to book ahead of time ) a little far from supermarkets, and just a heads up (not what we didn't like) that if you're heading back to the property after 11pm, you'll need a torch (using your phone or else) to help guide your way back
- Sandra (6/5): Great unit, a pity about the dog smell - The bed was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped and lovely bathroom. It was a great unit. The really disappointing thing was the smell of dog in the unit. It was overwhelming and really unpleasant in the lounge room and less so in the bedroom. We had to sit outside. For that reason we would not be back.
Also navigating the laneway with no lights in the rain was quite dangerous
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Loved the secluded feel and the spa on the deck was perfect for relaxing. The lounge was a little uncomfortable and in an awkward place to watch a movie.
- Harun (9/5): Superb -
- Gael (6/5): No Parking and Difficult Access - The cottage was clean and comfortable Had to park my car on the street and walk in through a grassy laneway. Too far with luggage and in the rain. The spa was set to go on and off through the night so it could be heard in the bedroom on the first night. I'm a light sleeper. I located the main switch and turned it off next day. I was surprised to discover, in the instructions for people staying at the accomodation, that it was expected garbage bins be dragged all the way along the grassed and muddy laneway out to the street for collection day. It was pouring with rain and I got drenched!! Another unusual expectation in the instructions, for guests, was to remove linen from the bed on departure and actually wash them in the washing machine there. Never have had to do that before.
- Jaz (9/5): Cute cottage for 2 - Lovely clean cottage with all the comforts of home and more.
Great touch with the roller blinds both externally and internally. Great place to unwind after a big day onsite. Loved the spa! Definitely great setup with great use of space. Walking in the dark along the public easement wasn't my cup of tea but only because I wanted to keep our truck close. However we found the place easily and the easement was not overgrown or anything. Was mowed and clean so wasn't as much of a missiona s some suggested in their reviews.
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jordan (8/5): Us and our dog had an amazing stay.It was very comfortable and a good location. We would stay again - There was lots to like about this stay - facilities, breakfast supplies, location, pet friendly etc. The hosts were very helpful and helped with a late check out too! Some small changes could make a difference to the experience - newer linen, dust/clean inside cupboards, few more kitchen supplies etc
- Emily (8/5): Very good - Very cosy place. Loved that it had a washing machine and dryer
- Mikael (10/5): Comfortable, peaceful and clean. - would definitely stay again! loved every thing about it.
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Rodleigh (9/5): Superb -
- Lynette (8/5): Very good - It had everything we need for our stay It was further from the beach then we thought in very hot weather but that’s summer in Queensland
- France (9/5): Great place to stay. - Great facilities Parking
- Cheryl (8/5): Very good - Well presented, clean and welcoming - lovely feel to the place
Charming accommodation with great outdoor area
Would certainly recommend
- Maxime (10/5): Amazing -
- Travis (9/5): Superb - the spa
the layou there was a small leak on the carpet into the main bedroom
- Kim (1/5): Bad - We was naked out near spa and the tree cutting guy come suddenly without asking any permission
How you think 🤔 what should I do
- Katrin (8/5): Great place in fabulous location, but required bond payment should be made obvious before booking - Great location, fabulous beach house, very private and comfortable. Loved the spa and the overall decor. Very well presented and equipped. Responsive hosts. Requirement for additional $200 bond payment should be mentioned in listing, not just after booking. There was lots of noice from nearby building works.
- Robin (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (9/5): Excellent facility shame about access - Location great but odd entrance to appartment Access to apartment and parking
- Victor (8/5): Very good -
- Coombes (5/5): Dissapointed - The spa and deck were lovely the lights above spa pretty but that's about It just had to make the best of the dissapointment Very deceiving photos and description as to what's stated as to what you get you need to be more specific about the beach cottage for the money we paid plus bond and nightly pet rate there was no green grassy area for the dog to wee except outside of the property no sugar or coffee other than pods no soap bars or little shampoo &conditioners it said there was a pool obviously in your other cottage very basic dishes dryer door is broken pay TV worked for like a day then told me I had used all the data windows sills in room above bed could do with a good clean along with the blinds so you basically describe your better cottage and show those pictures on the website which I find very deceiving to your guests the battery in the torch didn't even work and I'm sorry but you need to get signs Or something other than the tiny geko on the fence not easy to find not a very safe grassy lane way to walk up bumps and holes everywhere not to mention the house that is being built next door very noisy everyday we were there except 1 and that was only because it rained lovely waking to power tools at 7am while trying to sleep in just very disappointed you aren't really told the cottage backs on to your other which is obviously the better and nicer of the two just deceiving and very disappointed sorry you would have no chance finding after dark if you were checking in late and for the money I paid I don't need to be asked to wash my own sheets when leaving the dryer doesn't even shut how's that going to work
- Ben (8/5): A nice, private comfy little cottage with a great hot tub. - Great hot tub to relax in. Very private location, very clean and surprisingly no mosquitos! We had a pretty good stay for our wedding anniversary despite some minor issues and having to leave early due to predicted storms and flooding. Wifi is shared with the other house on the property and it was sketchy and kept dropping out. The entrance via the overgrown easement and having to park out on the street was very annoying, especially because it was raining and we arrived when it was dark. The couch feels like it's broken and there were no tea towels.
- Glen (7/5): Good -
- Dalisay (9/5): Lovely and very quiet. - Just not sure if we could park our car on the grassy easement. At first we parked the car on the driveway at #25 but the owner came and told us it was her driveway.
- Courtney (7/5): Good - The host providing a Netflix account. The location. The spa Not pet friendly outside on the deck. Needed railing and a gate so the dogs don’t go sniffing under the cottage. And for the easement to be mowed as there was heaps of grass seeds that my dog got covered in every time she walked on it.
- Kristie (9/5): Superb - Great location and spa was great especially when we got some bad weather and couldn’t go to the beach.
- Leigh (8/5): hideaway break - spa having to park car too far away
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Myra (10/5): Exceptional - The stay was amazing. Beautiful hot tub, great dog friendly deck and yard.
So quiet and relaxing!
Would love to have stayed for longer, we didn't want to leave!
- Jessica (10/5): Amazing stay - The property was so beautiful and relaxing How to get to the property.
