Given the price the owners should replace it Other than that it was very nice Except they decided to call the team to empty the septic tank before we left … not pleasant

• Michelle (9/5): Great Location, Great Facilities, Highly Recommend. - Great location, we hired both houses for my son's wedding as we were a party of 13. The breakfast provisions were great, the lawn area meant family cricket on the eve of the wedding (and the morning! lol). The kitchens are fully equiped with everything you could need to prepare meals (we made brunch on the morning of the wedding). Overall would rate the experience highly and would come back again if needed for a large party. The Booking.com email didn't have the locked box codes for the keys, but the owner was very responsive and we got in. While not their fault, loss of power on the Saturday meant showers didn't work because the pumps didn't work.

• Adrian (5/5): A little spruce up would go a long way to improve this beautiful old farmhouse. - Beautiful old character farmhouse in a fantastic location (with a wonderful wood heater). Whilst the property was full of character and in a great location, unfortunately the facilities were a bit tired, a good freshen up would go a long way.

• Mark (9/5): A wonderfully positioned and comfortable home on the hill, centrally located amongst the vines in beautiful McLaren vale - Really well positioned house on a hill commanding great views of the McLaren Flat. Recent renovations well done and in keeping with the style of the house. Excellent ducted air-conditioning. High quality appliances and hygiene products supplied throughout the house. Very much liked the extras provided like bacon and eggs, granola, a full bottle of milk , sourdough bread and other complimentary items. The two bathrooms had different floor heights to the adjoining rooms. These produce sharp hard edges representing a trip hazard and very easy to stub a toe on. Compliant angle wedges of some sort need to be installed to fill in the trip hazard and fix this problem.

• Bronwen (9/5): I could live here…. - A beautifully renovated old cottage into an expansive home that easily accommodates 3 couples, has been decorated with great detail and artistry. BBQ and fresh local produce made for a good breakfast cook up and a warm welcome. Living area and kitchen are extremely comfortable and well equipped. Our family had the other home on the property and we had space to all come together for wedding pre drinks and social. The view out of the expansive windows is entertainment in itself . The wood fire was set up to use and would add atmosphere but sadly we didn’t have time to use it . nothing was disliked but one toilet for all 5 of us was a bit of a shuffle as its in the bathroom.
