Guest Reviews
- Sandamini (5/5): Spacious but very run down - Location was great
House was spacious House is very dated and run down.
Fort King accommodates 15 people but has only one x 3 seater and one x 2 seater sofa that is really uncomfortable and worn down, in the living room. A Dining room chair was broken, oven door doesn't close properly, cook top was not working properly, the burners were sputtering and flickering.. There were 10 mugs (15 people house) , it sorely lacked proper working appliances. There was a bunk bed that had a sagging mattress which was not usable at all, unless you want to wake up with a severe back pain. All in all quite disappointing to see how poorly they have maintained this property.
The house was clean but very run down.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Great layout for a double family group to hangout in the snow. The drive had been nicely cleared of snow for our arrival, and allowed us to squeeze three vehicles off the road, as per local regulations. The heating system works well, but controller needs some better instructions. It occasionally shut off during the night. Always turned back on again, but not sure what settings needed adjusting to make it stay on. Also, the upper rooms end up very warm, but this is common in chalets!
- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sameera (7/5): Good -
- Brian (7/5): Good Average accommodation - House was clean and in a good location The amenities were tired and just above average, found outside rubbish bin full which meant no where to store rubbish, constantly fighting crow's ripping rubbish apart, oven door didn't close, kitchen had ant's ruining food, mattress were lacking support
- Peketi (10/5): Exceptional -
