• Kathy (8/5): Place & location was good but does need the option for an iron & ironing board - Lovely property close to beach Didn’t have an iron or ironing board. We needed to iron clothes for a wedding we were attending at Bruny. We had to borrow from other guests that had these facilities in their accommodation. Please consider adding these to the accommodation as an option.

• malcolm (8/5): A very attractive and well presented accommodation I ideal for two adults or two adults with small children - Nice modern building, spotlessly clean, set in a beautiful native Garden. Furnishings and equipment were of a very high standard: it was very easy relax both inside and out. The cooker appears to have been rescued from the 1960s and was horrible to use. The double bedroom was not big enough to be a double bedroom there was no room for any storage space such as drawers or wardrobe not even bedside tables and lamps. I don’t believe it is reasonable to ask two adults to have a holiday using a room that size. it might be suitable for two small children to share the bed or one single bed. A second bathroom, or at least toilet would be useful if for adults are sharing.

Everything you could possibly want was available. Heat pump was turned on before our arrival which made the property even more homely especially with the cold dismal weather we arrived in. Nothing.

• FreoPete (9/5): Lovely and comfortable stay, close by all the sights and beauty of Bruny Island. - I think I slept in one of the most comfortable beds I have EVER slept in here. The house was warm and comfortable and although there is no fire, the host had the split system on warm for us for when we arrived so the house was nice and warm when we arrived. The little touches like the locally sourced provisions provided, coffee machine (coffee pods provided) was a lovely addition. The house provides a washing machine and dryer also (with laundry liquid) which was great since we had been travelling around and needed to wash some of our clothes. We didn't use the outdoor area or fire pit as it was a bit wet, but there is also firewood and fire lighting materials provided if you should wish to use the fire pit. Although it's not exactly overlooking the bay, there is a track down to the beach which isn't a huge walk and is lovely first thing in the morning. The road that the house is on is an alternative drive over to Allona (it is gravel and we did need to put our car into 4wd in the wet), but it's a lovely drive over the mountain with a few things to look at along the way and it has access to the mountain track. This property is dog friendly, BUT there was a lot of dog poo around the property and my husband stepped in some and luckily he noticed before walking it into your lovely property. This is the only thing I would fault about this property. I would suggest that a "dog poo hunt" and clean up is done after people with dogs stay here as not everyone cleans up after their dog and it was pretty much scattered around the whole property.

Well equipped with the essentials we needed. Beautiful artisan soaps, loved the specialty teas. Felt like a really lovely place to stay and relax. Also smelt very nice. A bedside lamp would have been helpful. Pub was expensive and we weren’t prepared enough for none of the cafes to be open so didn’t bring enough food.

• April (10/5): Perfect, tastefully decorated home away from home! - Thoughtful touches such as some breakfast provisions & local snacks to get you started, beach towels etc Very clean & tidy/well presented A very tasteful eye for detail with the styling and the most beautiful linen bedding Nothing! My only personal suggestion would be a bedside lamp for convenience and perhaps one in the living room for softer night tine lighting

It was answered immediately, and I got the assistance I needed: pull a little harder! It worked. Nothing that I can think of; it was a very enjoyable stay.

To access interesting places to visit and close to the cruising terminal. Access to the island easy via a car ferry which runs every 20 minutes and takes about 10 minutes for the crossing. Great location you can hear the waves breaking everything wonderful is close Pennicot boat for a heartstopping adventure !Get Shucked for the best Oyster lunch or breakfast 😋 great local store for provisions . • Tracy (10/5): Awesome Adventure Bay Gem 💎 - This was the most beautiful wee spot to stay. Everything from the location, the size of the accommodation to the picturesque grounds, and the surroundings were stunning. Even though it was raining the whole time we were there, we didn't care. From every angle in the living area, you could see the scenery outside, just stunning. We didn't want to leave! Everything from the dining nook to the couches and bedrooms was of high quality and so comfy. We will be back for sure, but maybe when the weather is much better so we can explore Adventure Bay and Bruny more. Thank you for the awesome accommodation we loved it! ❤️👌 There was nothing to complain about. It was stunning.

The garden landscaping is delightful and the presentation of the property is excellent. All quality products have been provided. Decor is modern and simple. Very thoughtfully the house was warmed when we arrived. Excellent communication with owner. Bedrooms are super small for 2 adults ( mature). Shower and toilet in one room and both shared. When I read the description it is a bit misleading I think. I read it as two bedrooms with shower and toilet. Couldn't really make full use of the fire pit in the yard due to weather but that can't be helped. Not sure where the 'private beach' is. We went for a walk across the road and down a track but it was way to steep for us to access any beach as far as I could see. Would have been even nice if we had a fireplace in the house to create ambiance. Wi- fi and tv connections a bit dodgy.

It was very well equipped and very comfortable. The only thing was the internet. I had to restart the mini wifi daily to get the network up and running again.

The outdoor deck with comfy seats was great for the warm weather. Loved the bush setting and native garden. It really was just about perfect. The only two things we kept reaching for that were not provided was an ironing and board and paper towel. Minor things really.

• Phil (2/5): Very disappointing - Kitchen equipment was good quality The property was not clean, the beach was a drive away, breakfast was so minimal it was technically non existent. We had no information about the access to the property as the email was only sent after we’d left the previous accommodation and we had no internet , (with all of the other properties we’ve been sent these details at least 48 hrs before arrival , once our card has been charged). Which left us with having to borrow a phone at the local restaurant to ring the owner who called on a local lady to give us the password for the internet and to provide us with 6 eggs and some muesli. There was no internet whatsoever on day three and no way of phoning the owner. We are definitely not happy with this from what we expect from you guys!!

Central - very close to most things on Bruny Island. The owners have really thought of everything and was one of the best stays we have had as a family. We are so thankful for the cleanliness of the home. So much care has gone into it Nothing. We enjoyed it all. Only thing we could think of was adding an electric blanket to the spare bed also.

• Polly (9/5): Superb - It was perfect for us. The house was well maintained. Attention to detail in the design of all the soft furnishings and crockery was professional. The fruit loops were stale. What else was there to complain about. The only down side was nothing to do with the house but the road is narrow and steep and there are no footpaths so you have to drive.

Appreciated the effort the hosts have made to made it a special stay. There was nothing not to like. The only suggestion we could make is the absence of a full length mirror.

• Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Terrific location at Adeventure Bay. Able to see the ocean through the trees from the patio and lounge. House was beautiful inside, very clean and spacious. Kitchen well appointed; if we had been able to stay longer we definitely would have made more use of the cooking facilities. Beds and linen were very comfortable. Was a luxury to have an electric blanket in the main bedroom, have never used one before at home and was very much appreciated with the rainy and cool weather when we were visiting. Loved the bathroom, the provided toiletries were beautiful. Wifi was great. We made great use of the board games in the lounge room :) Check in and out using the lock box was easy and convenient. And we discovered the hidden walking track just across the road down to the beach in the morning which was a delight. Saw some wallabies near the property in the morning also. Provided breakfast was quite good, although the bread wasn't overly fresh. Could not find fault with anything. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The holiday home is well furnished and supplied with all needed cooking items continental breakfast was nice with cereal, toast and juice.
