The house was sparkling clean, so well organised with bedrooms separated from the leaving space and the beautiful pool with amazing garden. The house was perfectly equipped for 10 people, everything you need to cook, big BBQ… Nothing!

Clare is an excellent host and showed us how to work all the lights/fans. Great external area/BBQ. Wonderful amenities. Handy having separate rooms for a family of 4 adults as well as 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. Well equipped kitchen. Clare is very thoughtful in her approach/inclusions. We have stayed at many properties in Australia and overseas and this would have to be among the best. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Great location/base for touring around Port Douglas. N/A

A perfect ‘home away from home’ for our family holiday. The home offered plenty of separate areas to relax, both indoor and outdoor. A lovely pool and BBQ area. Only a short walk to the supermarket (IGA) and a short drive into Port Douglas. Every little detail had been thought of. The home was well stocked with all the essentials needed. Clare was fantastic, very helpful and easy to communicate with. We all had a fabulous time and highly recommend Chez Brolga for your next family/group escape. Thanks so much Clare 😊

The outside area was lovely to use on warm days, and there was so much space for six adults. We really had a wonderful time. Also, the beds were super comfortable. Really have no complaints, everything was perfect.

The house has everything you could need while on holiday - this is definitely the most well stocked holiday home I've ever stayed in. The host Clare was so communicative and welcoming and her guide book has all the information you need. • Angela (10/5): We'll be back to stay at Chez Brolga! - We had a wonderful time at Port Douglas and Chez Brolga was a fabulous home base. The host Clare has thought of everything! We were amazed by how well the kitchen and the house in general was stocked. Clare was also easy to communicate with. We had a large family group and the property was very suitable. An extra bathroom would be helpful for our group of 10 but we managed just fine.

• Khalid (10/5): Exceptional - The property had everything one would like to have in holiday home. Nice spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living and a separate movies viewing room. There was also a TV outside besides the pool if you wanted to hang out. The pool was amazing. Kids had fun! An outdoor table and chairs for a breakfast or late night tea with the family. Enough car spaces for atleast 4 cars plus street parking (garage inside not included). Clean facilities and all kitchen appliances provided (top quality). The beds were comfortable and enough linen provided. Property was spacious and clean with a nice layout. There is also bluetooth speakers outside, but we couldn't connect to the speakers. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, though as it wasn't a priority but for others it might be. Small thing and maybe not really required at a place like Port Douglous in the Tropics, but a clothes dryer might have come handy for us as weather was cooler in June. But its not a biggie.

It was absolutely immaculate when we walked in the door, access to the keys was very easy, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed.

The host has everything in the home that will help you feel at home. There were many area's to relax and the kids loved the pool. No dislikes.
• Carole (10/5): We had a great experience at the accommodation. It was beautifully appointed, with great facilities - The house was spacious for our girls Book Club weekend away. The house was well appointed with plenty of space to park our cars. The pool was welcoming, together with all the outside lighting, it was delightful sitting outside to enjoy the ambiance of the lovely garden setting. Our hose was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions promptly. The 5th bedroom was tiny, hardly room for 2 adults, with no window and no ventilation. It is best suited to 1 or 2 small children.

• Jennifer (10/5): Excellent family or group getaway where every detail has been thought of. - Our family group stayed at Chez Brolga for a weekend together while visiting Port Douglas. Clare made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and the house was a delight. Every little detail had been thought of - from comfortable, quality beds and linen, to the generous selection of tea, coffee and condiments - and even bath bombs for relaxing in the bath. The tropical garden and pool gave the whole family hours of enjoyment, and we also appreciated the two separate indoor living areas where everyone could have their own space. Highly recommend Chez Brolga for a group or family getaway.

It was very close to the city and in a nice neighbourhood. The check in process was very smooth and Clare was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property!

The pool and outdoor setting is a particular highlight - we spent so much time out there. Clare made our week stay easy and wonderful and I can't recommend this house enough.

• Angela (10/5): Great property - Lovely clean, well-kept property in a good location, easy drive into town or back onto the main road to reach surrounding tourist attractions. We stayed as an extended family of 7, rooms were a comfortable size with storage in each. Lovely modern decor throughout. Well stocked kitchen, lots of crockery/pans/cutlery and also tea/coffee/sauces etc. Only criticism would be that there is only 1 twin room, the rest are double rooms. Didn't affect us though as the house sleeps 10. There is also no air-conditioning unit in the twin room but there is a ceiling fan. Tip would be to leave the door open during the day to let the fan circulate the cool air around the room. All other rooms have aircon. Lovely outdoor seating areas with speakers, we enjoyed watching the fruit bats flying around and feeding in the early evenings! I would highly recommend this property!
