• Melissa (7/5): - The decking and the view was fantastic we enjoyed watching the spirit of Tasmania go through and pretty lights at night. Nice and roomy for families to spread out. Nice big backyard for pet/s. The main bedroom bed was uncomfortable
• Unsoecified (10/5): - An excellent hoyse A lot of cleaning rules for check out. Asking a general clean is a bit of an overkill for rented place. Other rules apply for a house swap.
• Angela (4/5): Disappointed with the house but enjoyed our line dancing event in Portarlington. - The location The house was not clean. There was a layer of dust on everything. Mirrors and windows had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. I appreciate it is an old house but it is very tired and needs some maintenance and tidying up to bring it up to a comfortable holiday rental. The kitchen cupboards were a mess - everything thrown in just anywhere. Couldn't use anything without washing it first!

• Fabiola (8/5): Amazing sea view and great location - The house is very large and spacious, perfect for families. The sea view is absolutely breathtaking and made our stay even more special. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The location is great, very close to beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place. The bed in the master bedroom was a bit too soft for our taste, almost like a waterbed, but it was not a major problem.

• John (9/5): Comfortable stay with a scenic view of the bay. - We liked the view from upstairs, the comfortable beds, plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs, plenty of plates and glasses. Also having two bathrooms. A couple of our group thought the indoor stairs were a bit steep.
• Stephen (7/5): Good - The house is located in a quiet residential area, with the top level having water views. It has a old fashioned beachy vibe. Havent stayed at Portalington before great spot with lots to do & see. We used the BBQ once whilst we were there & was full of gas & easy to start. Hosts were friendly & provided very clear with their instructions for us before our stay via Booking.com which we appreciated. Very small issue - some parts of the home needed a bit of a dust, just around ornaments & the like. Nothing dreadful.

• Kristina (10/5): Love Bayviews - The house was lovely and spacious, a bit older inside but that aspect made the house feel more comfortable and like home. Location really close to the beach and main street of Portarlington. Beds extremely comfortable.

• Kathleen (8/5): A really cute, fun, eclectic holiday stay suitable for close friends or family. - My family and I loved the Nautical touches and the styling of the property. The rooms were spacious and we were all able to sit together at the table and in the lounge. The outdoor areas were also lovely (the balcony and downstairs patio and BBQ area). Everything we needed was available in the kitchen (pots and pans etc, tea and coffee) but you do need to bring oil, flour etc and other food items as only salt and pepper are supplied in the pantry. Lots of music and CD players. We didn't use the entertainment system so not sure what was available there. Games also available. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Just to be clear this is an older property and consequently there is some wear and tear. The stairs are very narrow, so we really had to watch our elderly parents coming up and down. (Having the downstairs bathroom, sitting room and tea and coffee making alleviates this somewhat).
• Zeinab (7/5): My family and I loved our stay at this house because we got to get around to the beaches and places around us. - my family and I liked how neat the property was and we loved the big beautiful balcony. the house was not very clean it was full of dust and some of the stuff around the house was broken.
• Victoria (10/5): A fun comfortable property in a great location with everything we needed. - Perfectly located, great view and very comfortable. It really is a matter of personal preference but the front bedroom bed was quite soft. We have stayed before and the back bedroom bed was fine.
