Nice fireplace to use, wood available in local supermarkets. It has plenty of space so everyone has their own private place and/or place to withdraw. Big eating table in a very cozy dining room with large windows. Some beds were really hard... and some beds are squeaking a lot... Otherwise, there was nothing not to like. I would recommend this place. The rooms are not darkened, so this is good to know if you need darkness to sleep. The lights are on outside which is good for security, but shine through into the bedrooms. We did not have much trouble with it.
• Mariana (9/5): Fantastic place to enjoy Villa de Leyva - The house and beds were very comfortable, and the surrounding area was beautiful, green and quiet. The house resembles the typical architecture of the town, which makes it even more special. The host put us in touch with someone who helped us with breakfast and lunch while we were staying there. The two dogs were very sweet! (with adults and kids alike) and were respectful of the indoor spaces. The only minor thing I would mention is that some of the sockets were tricky to use, as devices kept getting disconnected
