Guest Reviews
- Deborah (6/5): - Liked water views and location No pressure in on-suite shower vert poor
Never have to rent linen in airbnb before should of been supplied
No condiments (tea ,coffee, milk etc.
- Kurt (9/5): -
- Hannah (10/5): Absolute 10/10 for location and value for money we'll be back - Bbq not working efficiently we were not able to cook bbq meat
- Mcsorley (8/5): Adult mini escape. - Spa, kayaks ..
House was equipped with family activities.
Bedroom and lounge room comfortable. No bin bags, unlikley to see dolphins in this estuary far away, we only saw birds and ducks.
- Zhou (10/5): -
- Robert (1/5): Bookings.com dissappointment - I didn't get to like anything as 4 hrs after booking they rang to cancel booking Fact they cancelled booing 4 hours after I booked, couple of hours before check in
- ganfield (9/5): - The location was epic! Large spaces, cool spa A few minor maintenance issues
- Jocelyn (9/5): Awesome đ - It's right on the canals, the kids loved feeding the ducks oats. Spa was lovely. On check in day we couldnt enter till later as there has been an electrician in but then we got a later checkout which made the sunday really relaxed. We just needed to keep a close eye on the children outside because of being right on the water with small children.
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Rick (8/5): Very good - Wood not supplied
- Tegwen (10/5): Second time stay for us and would recommend highly - Location was perfect
Had everything we needed for 2 families to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. N/A
- Sue (10/5): Great getaway. - Location

Comfort
- Fab (2/5): Dont stay here. Over rated, over priced - The house is large, lots of room. Comfy bed, great view of canals. Bring ipad cause TV doesnt work n you wont be able to use dvd player either. Pixels jump on tv n sound goes off.
Bring your own linen n towels, otherwise its $35 extra. Bring earplugs for bedroom noise air con.
Clean the BBQ before n after otherwise they charge you. BBQ has rust on it n junks of grease. Wheel barrow left in garden, pavers are uneven n safety hazard. Clean the outdoor table n chairs before use. Cobwebs n dead bugs everywhere. Flyscreens have holes in them so cant open them or mozzies n flies come inside. Air con above door near dining makes an annoying noise. Plates are too high to reach, need to climb on chair. House is for 8 people but you get
7 forks, 5 teaspoons, not enough pots to cook, pots are small size, no sponge or detergent to clean dishes, bring your own.
Alarm doesnt work. We will never come here again, for the price you pay its not worth it. It was a very bad experience.
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great week there was very enjoyable
Will definitely be back Everything was as it should be very beautiful house
- Christine (6/5): Good basic holiday house. Best views house was fine. - Views!! Ants in kitchen
- Deb (9/5): Loved every minute we were there. - The property is exceptionally good value and the location and views are incredible, so much so we would love to purchase it to live in! The house is well presented, spotlessly clean with easy access and lots of extra facilities. The location is very peaceful with various bird life present. We will definitely seek this property to rent again. The electric cook top is very slow to heat up. More toilet rolls please or mention to BYO on the paperwork.
- Bonnie (8/5): Very good -
- Erica (8/5): Wonderful stay on the canals. Kids loved the jacuzzi - Ideally located on the canals and had daily sightings of 'resident' dolphins.
Ample kayaks supplied for enjoying the canals.
Kids loved the jacuzzi and spent hours enjoying the outdoor lifestyle.
Short walk to the estuary with lovely walk/cycle paths.
Plenty of seating space for indoor or outdoor settings. Missing dinner plates and mugs which was reported to managing agent.
Minimal pots and pans for cooking for large numbers.
Had to hunt for the wifi password and couldn't find alarm codes to activate.
Two double beds are actually queen sized so be aware if bringing your own bedding - fitted sheets.
No bar fridge in bar area which would have been nice to have.
Host is a managing agent and the business has emergency contact details for contacting on weekends - so know ahead if you will need to be in touch on weekends.
- Nanette (10/5): Comfortable, clean, big, quiet. - Everything was great for a family holiday, my family live down the road so we did all entertaining there, but they could fetch us by boat to go anywhere. Not much. A few things but only because we are used to them at home. Eg TV was faulty.
- Peta (9/5): Superb - The house was in a great location. It was serene and had everything we needed for our stay.
- Tanya (8/5): Very good - Location was great, spa was great and house was big with large rooms and comfy beds. Very clean. Shower head in main shower was terrible, definitely needs a new head.
TV was terrible with no reception, so couldnt just use the TV. Couldnt get DVD player to work.
- Julie (8/5): Very good - Beautiful big house right on the canals. Lovely views.
- Serene (9/5): Great place to relax and unwind! - Love the location and all the nature around! Enjoyed the outside facility of the spa and kayaks too! Got to see ducks, herons, black swans, and dolphins too!! Could do with brighter lights in the kitchen area and the path to the car port area.
The garden could also be better maintained- overgrown plants onto path and walkway - uneven bricks lining the path and steps.
- Karen (9/5): Amazing trip with family, great location but lacking teaspoons. - location was amazing. our stay was amazing. Fishing on the doorstep was fantastic. having a cuppa watching the world go by. Enjoyed the spa and just relaxing. so many rules. did not get answers to my question about the property other than the email stating that all answers are on our website, but this answer was not. Was only given the long list of rules less than 24 hours before our arrival. Only 2 teaspoons in the kitchen.
- Victoria (9/5): Superb - The location was great, the outdoor really enjoyable. The host have left canoes and crab nets wo we had a lot of fun with them. The Spa experience was pretty special! Nothing really the only thing is you might want to bring dishwashing liquid, hand wash, toilet paper and shampoo as there was limited supply on site but there was a store not too far away to easy enough if you know before no dramas at all :-)
- Mereana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yan (7/5): Good location and need bit cleaning the windows - good location Dusty windows
- David (8/5): Very good - The house is nice and big, great views Outside of the house was unkept, spider webs all over the windows.
The instructions to the house are out of date, parking instructions wrong, hot water system details wrong.
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (7/5): Good - Friends weekend away.
Loved the location & space. The spa was a winner! Unable to have linen provided - this wasn't a deal breaker, though.
? Air con unit above back door not working - noisy.
- Dianne (7/5): Good - Location was good It could have been a bit cleaner .
- Chris (7/5): Disappointed about a jack hammer and pile driver next door for 4 days of our stay making noise -
- Renae (6/5): I was so excited to stay there as Iâd known the property from years ago. Not value for the money I paid. Next year will - The view was great. Beds comfy. The rooms that were Air con were good. Good amount of seating. Wasnât value for money. Had to pay extra for linen. Lots of Cobwebs around the outside where you sit. Garden very untidy. Lighting in the kitchen was dismal. Few cockroaches kept appearing. Water takes forever to go hot. TV didnât connect to Wifi so chromecast couldnât connect. Fridge doesnât seal well. I bought an air fryer because I couldnât work out the oven to stop burning food. No AC in all rooms.
- Sian (7/5): Good -
- Darryl (8/5): Very good - Beds were comfortable and had enough kitchen utensils. Easy instructions for entry. Emails were answered. Air conditioning might need servicing as a little on noisy side. But did the job of cooling house.
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tricia (10/5): Amazing and wonderful, and we will be back! - We used the property as our home away from home, when we got married. The kids were excited to see their rooms, the gardens and most of all the canals. The Saturday morning, we saw dolphins while eating breakfast. The photographer, make up artist and hair dresser were all impressed with the property as well. Signage for the property would have been useful. Both the hairdresser and make up artist went to the neighbouring property. The photographer found the property but came to the back door.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bronwen (8/5): South Yunderup - Great Location. Good facilities. Quiet & clean. Spa & sauna are lovely additions. Overall a comfortable, relaxing stay with good communication from owner. đ Water was not hot all the time. Too many instructions on cleaning before you leave when a cleaning fee is included in cost. đ¤
- Lorraine (10/5): booked for a weekend away with friend for her her 50th she loved it we were all in our element the dolphins đŹ made it ev - everything the location the feel of the house very homey and comfortable we definitely will be back ..The dolphins playing right in front of you it was just amazing that we had to leave !!
- Sally (8/5): it was a relaxing time with friends - spacious
spa
view of water would have liked one more double bed instead of singles
- Kym (9/5): Quiet place to unwind - Quiet place overlooking the canals. Enclosed spa with a view which would be great in winter (a bit warm when we were there). Small bedrooms but the living areas were very large and multiple available. Were able to watch the pelicans and hawks go fishing in the canal from the dining table. Bedrooms a little small (except the huuuge master suite) and the lighting a little dim in the main areas. The rest was great.
- Yan (8/5): worth to stay - big house with nice atmosphere. we all enjoyed stay inside. abit aged and garden lack of care.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - House is enormous and well equipped, perfect for a weekend with family. The mosquitos! Maybe more things at the house to help combat the mozzies, coils and spray and a zapper, also the wheelbarrow that had been used to clean up the yard being upturned in the garden just looks messy. And power points were an issue in bedrooms
- Narelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dianne (9/5): Superb -
- Amar (8/5): Loved it - will come back - No breakfast was provided but the kitchen is big enough The house is perfect
- Tegwen (10/5): Exceptional -
