- Toni (9/5): It was pretty cool waking up in the middle of the Forrest, even though we stayed in the middle of winter, it was warm an - Beautiful location, house was amazing We didn’t see any kangaroos 😀
- Aaliyah (9/5): Beautiful property great for a big family or two small families to stay in, highly recommend. - Absolutely stunning property a short drive from the Margaret River town. It had a beautiful deck on two sides of the property, massive master bedroom, comfortable room with twin beds for kids and a third bedroom for another couple. The living/dining/kitchen open plan room was very spacious and comfortable for our two families to hang out in. It was quite cold so we used the indoor fireplace with some of the wood provided and the heating. Was quite cold in the third bedroom as it didn't have a heater and the bathroom next door was quite small.
- Robyn (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Peaceful weekend escape - Loved how private and peaceful the space was. The fireplace was in a great spot and heated the house nicely. Great layout, and can see how it’d work perfect for a family or a few couples holidaying together as each bedroom and bathroom is private enough to hide away from others. Very comfortable, would absolutely recommend and return. N/A
- Tadhg (9/5): Superb - Spacious, peaceful, hidden away in wooded area, bird life, wallabies popping out from the woods in frontof patio, close to Margaret River, BBQ facility.
- Romeo (10/5): An absolute gem! Quiet, clean and very comfortable. -
- Ingrid (10/5): Awesome stay in a beautiful location. - Lovely location. Very comfortable house -fantastic to have 3 bathrooms for 6 guests. Great facilities and stock of books and games. Only suggestion would be to have some tv instructions for the luddites like us 😆
- Laura (9/5): Tranquil bush escape - Great location, beautiful surroundings, gorgeous house with lots of space. Board games were a hit too! All the facilities you need. Close enough to Margaret River and surrounds without being in the busy centre Two smaller bedrooms had highlight windows at the top of room and made for very early waking with the sun streaming in. Fine if your an early riser.
- Jiang (8/5): Very good - Very quiet and clean, very friendly staffs who left bottle of basket press on table to welcome the guests. No aircon in the bedrooms and beds were a bit small. We cooked a bit the quality of the fry pans were average. Prefer a non-stick pan to cook.
- Steven (8/5): Great place for 3 couples or girls weekend etc. Nothing really for kids to do except the bush. -
- David (9/5): Very picturesque home - Spacious home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All the appliances and considerations are taken care off (high chair, porta cot). Very ambiente bush life with the lights shining up the trees. Nice deck area and wood fire. Could do with 1 more power point in the kitchen, and a lamp in the living room. The master bedroom flyscreen doors were also off the rails and left a gap to the side.
- Abi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trang (9/5): Amazing weekend with other families. Nice comfortable house. This is great in winter as it has oil heaters however may n - The location was great, comfortable house. Beautiful scenery outside. Just little things like extra tissues and paper towels would be handy.
Sink in ensuite bathroom needs unblocking as it drains super slow and water is building up.
- Cathryn (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was absolutely beautiful. All the amenities and extras were so well thought out. Gorgeous setting and position. Nothing at all.
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Naomi (10/5): Beautiful location and great home for a group. - This was a great size house for 6 adults. The fire was beautiful and heats the house up easily. The location is lovely and peaceful and a convenient distance from the town taking less than 10 minutes to drive.
Great commination with speedy reply to a small
Issue that arose. It would be great if the single beds in the third bedroom were king singles to be more comfortable for an adult but this is only a small issue.
- Helen (9/5): Perfect for family reunion, with beautiful scenery, beaches and wineries on your doorstep. Loved the easy tranquil vibe - Peaceful, spacious and very comfortable Not a lot of space for food preparation and storage… maybe need to refresh the cupboards and do a clean out of all that isn’t needed?
Aircon in lounge didn’t get very cold… and bedrooms need aircon, luckily it wasn’t too hot.
- Jodi (7/5): we had a lovely quiet stay in a beautiful location just what we needed as a busy family lots of walking and relaxing tha - The setting was lovely Everything was fine
- Pramesh (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Wifi is poor
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Bush setting . 3bathrooms , outdoor setting, quietness Lack of salad bowls, large plates, and containers. Poor quality mugs. Few cleaning wipes/ sprays
- Ruth (9/5): Great break before Christmas. Handy to all the local highlights of Margaret river! - Absolutely everything. Quiet, peaceful and well equipped! Nothing
- Marie (9/5): Magically serene - Location was perfect for us as we attended numerous wedding celebrations at Caves Manor only approximately 1 km away
- Dawn (9/5): Superb - A very comfortable & quiet bush retreat which suited 2 couples & our very able 95 year old mother/mother-in-law.
Facilities were great & we felt very at home in the environment. If you wish to be near the action this may not be suitable, but for relaxation and enjoyment of the bush, ideal 😌😌😌. We travelled out each day of our stay & explored the nearby towns etc. The ceiling fan & exhaust fan in one bedroom & bathroom were not working, this I reported & a standard fan was supplied the following day.
The faux cane seating on verandah is old & needs replacing.
- Helen (8/5): Lovely accomodation to spend a few quiet days. - Quiet, peaceful location. Would have been a bonus if the kangeroos had come out :)
Kitchen was well equipped, though the toaster is looking a little tired.
Bedrooms are well spaced apart to give each their own privacy, along with own bathroom. However there was no shampoo/conditioner supplied.
Loved the pictures in the bedrooms of the proteas. The place is lovely - not much to dislike about it.
Maybe just a suggestion to provide better quality tea, but a minor issue.
We repeatedly got emails prior to our stay, asking what our linen requirements were. Had tried to respond repeatedly but emails kept bouncing back. In the end, called and spoke to a lady to organise required linen. We still received an email DURING our stay, asking about our linen requirement.
- Anonymous (9/5): Peaceful, bliss and great to unwind. - Great peaceful location away from the huddle and bustle.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (7/5): Relaxing, tranquil & enjoyable. - -The location was great. Very quiet & relaxing.
-clean & well stocked
- layout was excellent for us. - highlight windows in bedrooms weren’t great as they made us have an early morning wake up. They needed a curtain/ covering on them.
-DVD player needed it’s own antenna cable, we had to take it out of the tv box to use the DVD player. A bit frustrating.
- Wray (8/5): Very good - Great location, surrounded by bush and lovely and quiet. Would feel more private if there wasn't also a rental on the property. Feeling like you need t be quiet and not disturb someone on your holiday wasn't great. Also was told there would be wood for the fire, and there was, but it was outside in the rain and we needed to chop it ourselves, was ok, but would prefer not to do this on a holiday ;)
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Everything Nothing
- Kathryn (7/5): Good - Great location. Very good communication with host. Lovely house. Very well equipped - everything you would need. Needed heating on all the time as it got very cold inside overnight (ice on water glass). The master bathroom needed an extractor fan.
- Sharon (9/5): Superb - The location was good.A very nice and homely place.Spacious than expected.
- Fordham (9/5): Haven in the bush - Everything about this house was really lovely. A beautiful quiet bush location not too far from Margaret River town. A great layout of this clean & spacious house provides privacy for those families sharing & each with their own bathroom & outdoor balcony area. It's fully equipped with everything you need for a city escape. If I had to be pedantic here it would only be to mention a couple of very minor things such as the small bedroom windows not having blinds to allow for a bit later sleep in & perhaps a larger kitchen pedal bin would be handy.
- Callum (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (10/5): would like to go there again. - the location and ambience so relaxing and love the nature view It would be nicer to have king beds?
- Chin (10/5): Super awesome refreshing retreat at Blue Haven. - We were a family of 5 with 3 children aged between 4 and 6. Totally loved our stay at Blue Haven. It was exactly what we needed and we enjoyed the space. The cleanliness. The items in the kitchen. The BBQ pit that allowed us to cook stead every night. The 3 toilets. There is proper heating facilities as well. It was also nested in the “forest” area so we had kangaroos visiting some times. We’d definitely return to this place with our family. Nothing much. Everything was really good.
