• The Main House

  This self-catered unit is decorated in authentic local style. It is spread over 2 floors and is provided with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. First floor consists of a common 45-square-yard dining area (used only by guests of The Main House) with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchenette with utensil and silverware as well as dish washing machine and washing (laudry) machine. One bedroom (3 people) and 1 private bathroom with shower are located on the 1st floor. 6 bedrooms and another shared bathroom are located on the 2nd floor. IMPORTANT! Please note there are 4 interconnected rooms on the second floor (1+1; 1+1) 2nd floor bedrooms: Secret room (1 person), Yellow room (3 people), Blue room (2 people) interconnected to Pink room (2 people), Orange room (2 people) interconnected to Purple room (2 people). IMPORTANT! Interconnected rooms means you have to pass through the room to go to the other room.

• Natalie (10/5): Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff - We really enjoyed our stay — it felt like a little journey back in time in the best possible way. The atmosphere was very special and peaceful. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were allowed to make barbecue on the property, and it was wonderful to spend the evening outside enjoying the fresh air. In the morning, we also loved having breakfast outdoors. Everything created a very cozy and memorable experience.

• Росица (10/5): - Всичко беше прекрасно! Домакините са много любезни, усмихнати и отзивчиви ако имаш нужда от нещо, беше много чисто, стаята е изключително просторна и топла! Имаше и заредена кафемашина със захар и шкаф с различни чаши - за кафе, вода, вино, твърд алкохол. Перфектно място за почивка!

• Емил (9/5): - Въпреки че беше изградена мрежа, в крайните стаи, където бяхме настанени, нямаше покритие. Липсата на сигнал от мобилните оператори допълнително засили значението на този проблем.
• Vitalii (10/5): Милый отель - Хороший небольшой отель. Внешне стилизован под старый сельский дворик. Комнаты большие и просторные. В каждом номере душ и туалет. После того как заходишь за ворота попадаешь в большой просторный двор, со столами для обеда и качелями. Внутри двора можно спокойно насладится уходящим днем. Заселение было самостоятельным. Нам просто сообщили где ключи от номеров. Выселение было таким же. Не знаю с чем было это связано, но утром не было воды. Хорошо что у нас была упаковка воды в машине и мы смогли хотя-бы умыться.

The rooms are big, there is heathing through air conditioning, we had a coffee machine (and coffee beans) in the hall, a microwave and water heating cup. Check in was very easy and you can park in front of the house. The garden looke nice and cosy for warmer days. The furnite and some parts of the house would need restauration (there are some craks in the walls, door of the bathrooms looks like they had water infiltration etc.), but these are just details.. the place is very good value for the price and has a nice vibe!

• Julia (5/5): Nuestra zona muy sucia y salieron escorpiones de la ducha - La terraza, aunque no estaba limpia, debajo de la parra era muy agradable estar. El jardín era precioso, y tenía piscina y colchoneta para saltar. Estaba muy sucio, y había muchas cosas en mal estado. Una silla se rompió conforme nos sentamos, y el resto… estaban a punto. No era nada cómodo el interior. Nos salieron varios escorpiones de la ducha. Detrás del cabecero de la cama había muchísimas telarañas. Están haciendo obras, entiendo que estarán haciendo alguna zona nueva.

• Λιάπης (10/5): - Όλα ήταν τέλεια η φιλοξενία, ο χώρος, η τοποθεσία, πραγματικά δεν έχω λόγια. Ιδανικές συνθήκες για χαλάρωση με όλες τις ανέσεις. Αν και μείναμε στο στούντιο που είναι το μικρότερο κατάλυμα στο συγκρότημα ήμασταν πάρα πολύ άνετα. Άνετο πάρκινγκ ακριβώς έξω από το κατάλυμα. Για το μόνο που μετανιώσαμε ήταν ότι μείναμε μόνο για δύο ημέρες.

Sporo muzealnych przyrządów rolniczych, kowalskich, a także pamiątek z czasów Teodora Żivkova. Sympatyczny i komunikatywny gospodarz. Można dobrze wypocząć. Polecam! Wszystko jest bardzo OK

• Emilia (10/5): Warm and cozy! - We stayed in the studio apartment and it was very homey and warm. The staff even made the couch bed for us which was a pleasant surprise after coming in from exploring Veliko Turnovo. The sapce is small but very well thought out, every amenity is there. Bathroom is not heated in any way, so it can get a bit chilly, but the AC is warming up the room nicely. There’s a big patio space with swings, benches and tables which is set up perfectly for an evening drink ;) We also made friends with a local kitty who turned out to be very friendly! The only thing we found missing was a wall hook or a little shelf somewhere in the bathroom, as there’s not really a place to set your things down while showering.

Our rooms were very very nice, comfortable and quiet. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The gardens and area were nice to sit out in .

We were given free coffee in the morning and we got upgraded to a better room in the Main House as it was available. We had the possibility to check in and check out as we pleased, so that was also really appreciated. We felt like staying in someone's personal house, definitely not a typical accomodation. The owner is very kind, respectful and helpful. The mattress was really comfortable. We enjoyed the garden in the morning and the quiet beautiful surroundings. We will be definitely going back if possible. The swimming pool was closed

The entrance was self-service, accompanied by quick and thorough communication. The place is very well designed, and the desire to provide maximum comfort for the guests is evident. The location is convenient, charming, and peaceful, and the price is also very affordable. Thank you very much

Tip: keep the pressure open on high, otherwise there might be no hot water coming

• Turnce (9/5): Come to Malki Chiflik. - This is the perfect base for visiting the medieval city of Veliko Tarnovo and the beautiful surrounding countryside. The guest house oozes old-fashioned style and is in a peaceful setting.
• Yee (9/5): Nice place to stay; but make sure there’s no big party - + Nicely done up studio apartment + Free parking and wifi + Full kitchen for those who cooks + Good value - better to ask the host that there’s no big group of people staying at the villa next to the apartment; we were unlucky that there were a big group of youngster staying there and they were partying and shouting till early morning. Some of them were drunk and knock on our door (saying want d to met us) and bang on the window and shouted outside our apartment. We were so concerned that we quickly turned off all the lights inside the apartment. They also have some kind of piston and were shooting next to our apartment for a while making my wife fearful the night. Just our luck that there’s a bunch of crazy young kids staying and partying in the villa.

• Manon (9/5): Relaxing place near Veliko Tarnovo - The place is super nice. The interior of the studio is vintage, has a sitting area, kitchen with everything you might need, coffee machine with very good coffee, AC. It's clean and welcoming. The common areas are what we liked most - the garden with different relax spaces like swings, hammocks, tables, chairs, sun loungers and a small pool. It's dog friendly, it has a 10lv tax for the animal, which is very reasonable. Self check in makes it easy if you're travelling from another city. Good WiFi if you have to work. Hosts were welcoming, and they gave us different recommendations. Location is perfect if you want to see the old town of Veliko Tarnovo - 10 mins by car. There are no restaurants in the village, but the city is near and there are places that even deliver to the house. Would definitely visit again, and we highly recommend it. There was a faint smell from the bathroom but there was rain before we arrived, so I guess that's the reason. The bed was a little soft for me but my partner found it ok.

• Adrian (9/5): Would come again - It was very clean and beautiful. Location is pretty much alright, 10 min drive from the city centre. We were able to do self check-in which was ok with us. All in all good value for what they offer. There are almost no pictures with the bathrooms and we had no idea that we were going to get those kind of bathrooms, that use the hole room as a shower. It was a nightmare to clean in after everybody had showered, especially when you share a room with 3 other people.

• Krzysztof (8/5): Very good - Nice location, very good AC, two bathrooms in our two-bedroom suite. There is also a very nice and large garden. Picking up the key late at night was super easy. There was a huge party being organised in the main building (six-bedroom villa) of the guest house. While the fact that it was quite loud till late at night was not that annoying (it was a nice warm summer night in the Bulgarian countryside), the main issue was that the host did not seem to care about that and we did not feel secure when the young and drunk guests were wandering all around the garden, taking a bath in the swimming pool and leaving beer bottles and cigarette butts all over the place.

• Camelia (1/5): avoid! - The owner asked us for a review of 10 in exchange of a partial refund, to which we did not agree. Safety - we self check-ed in, we found the key near a decoration in the yard. There was no key to the main gate. the owner was far away, he told us that when we decided to leave. Parking: even if the property says that is has free parking, you can only park on a very narrow public road near the house. The place in front of the house is somehow made to look like a parking, but it is very steep, it was impossible to leave your car there Bed: the linen was washed, but it had a big black stain on it. The bed frame is very old, deteriorated, unpainted. The armoire: it had one broken door. The painting, the sockets: very old Some of the furniture: old, not vintage.
