Guest Reviews
- Ilona (10/5): -
- Gordon (9/5): Very enjoyable in a clean and comfortable accommodation - Great location with easy walking distance to town and local dog walks Nothing that was noteworthy
- Potito (7/5): - The location was great The backyard was not clean we had to pick up dog poor from the lawn from previous people. There were cobwebs and spiders outside also
- Elsa (9/5): Overall a great place to stay - Great location in Margaret River town. Lovely cosy clean house. If you are taying here Sunday to Thursday this accommodation is great! Unfortunately the property backs onto a backpacker hostel. Everything was peaceful and lovely until the Friday when the backpacker party started. They blared their music from 6pm to 5am.
- Walden (9/5): - Easy to arrange and clean. Noise from traffic, occasionally.
- Cook (9/5): -
- James (10/5): Great location and a pleasure to stay in - On arrival the place was clean, well thought out and in a great location for access to the centre of Margaret River and surrounds. The house was very comfortable and has all the amenities you would need for any length of stay. The staff (Fatima) were friendly, easy to communicate with, helpful and quick to respond. Overall a fantastic holiday home. Thank you. Nothing, It was just as we wanted :)
- Griemink (10/5): -
- Egan (9/5): Really enjoyed staying there. - Location was really close to town and Forrest. The place was lovely .
- Emma (1/5): Never again! - Pet friendly. I recently stayed at Tootys and had a disappointing experience due to excessive noise from the neighbouring backpackers until 4 AM, despite my efforts to ask them to be quiet. This seems to be an ongoing issue, especially on weekends, as noted in previous reviews and discussions with neighbours.
Future guests should be informed about this situation. Our experience was significantly affected, and I hope this feedback encourages improvements. I was advised the I should have contacted the property manager in the middle of the night, who would then reach out to the backpackers and potentially call the police—definitely not ideal for a relaxing weekend in Margs!
- Merilyn (10/5): Exceptional - Location good, very private. Back yard secure for our dog. I would have liked to see the backyard with fake grass, as very hard to keep our dog clean when grass and raining. We tried our best to keep his paws clean before coming inside.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (7/5): Good - Walking distance to the town. Very hot during the afternoon. Glass windows and doors on the west side need 3M reflective tape or such. Outdoor seating area poor.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Belinda (8/5): comfortable stay close to town, and bonus that it’s pet friendly - Great Location, well equipped for small children (cot, high chair, bath) Probably just needed a little more of a floor clean, but otherwise good
- Samantha (8/5): Perfect location with a clean and comfortable house - Fantastic location, comfortable, clean and dog friendly The driveway is tricky to turn a big car around in
- Raka (8/5): I would stay again - Very clean, good facilities, could park undercover and very central located. Comfortable couch too
- Jonathan (7/5): Relaxing break at Tooty’s! - Location.
Private.
Reasonable outside space for a small pooch.
Bathroom was lovely, shower space.
Plenty of hot water.
Aircon. Lack of attention to detail, a bit of TLC would be nice, a vacuum would be handy. Thick dust on top of microwave, umbrella needed outside at the back, fly screens in need of attention. Black out blinds in lounge, kitchen and laundry areas. Working lock on the fly screen door. Dishwasher, although not enough room.
- Brett (7/5): Good - Perfect for what we needed, Good location, comfortable House over the back had parties Fri/Sat nights that was loud
- Ellis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (9/5): Lovely winter getaway - Close to town and fabulous walks! Clean and comfortable and I loved how the dogs could be inside.
- Ron (3/5): Poor - Hard to get driveway
- Lisa (8/5): Great location and property. - Location was great walking distance to everything Nothing
- Derek (9/5): Great getaway and just what we needed and all the better for been dog friendly - Very easy to find and off the street parking.and in perfect vicinity to the main shopping street with pubs and restaurants Very clean and spacious and great for dogs as our lab called Bob enjoyed his stay also
- Mary (8/5): Very good - great location the parking was a bit tricky
pillows could be better
- Darcy (10/5): Exceptional - Location is perfect, we walked everywhere from the house to margaret river town, walked to dinner, shopping, pub all of it... Secured back yard for dogs and close to walk trails, everything you could have needed inside the house and quite secluded being the rear unit. Bedrooms are neat with ceilaing fans and there is an aircon in the main living area. Its is definately a fair price for good accomodation.
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathan (9/5): Superb -
- Pamela (10/5): clean and tidy accomodation right near town. Accomodation has everything you could need for your stay. - Excellent location
- Brindley (7/5): It was pleasant enough and reasonably priced - Very central location Bathroom needs updating, shower head had minimal pressure flow.
Lacking things like tissues, paper towels basic needs. Air conditioning needs upgrading limited air flow and window coverings in laundry and kitchen need sun blockout for afternoon sun
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Close to margret river town centre making it very convenient. Our puppies enjoyed having the enclosed yard and the staff kindly helped us with a puppy sitter when we needed. The lock was broken on one of the doors and wasn’t able to be fixed during our stay. Didn’t enjoy having to worry about safety overnight and when we left the property.
- Gg (7/5): Was a good base to use for the C2C Mountain Bike Event with the property being centrally located. - Coffee Pod Machine No was washing basket
- Jasslyn (10/5): 10 out 10 absolutely wonderful plus pet friendly - Beautiful property great location perfect for us travelling with our dog, the yard was perfect size & definitely dog safe. Would visit again for sure :-)
- Carolina (8/5): Nice, cosy place, will definitely come back. - Confortable couches, beds and pillows.
Pet friendly! The driveway was a bit tight if you have a large 4wd
- Emma (10/5): Fantastic location - Fantastic location, easy walk into town, great communication, clean and tiny, very comfortable. Added bonus pets are allowed
- Narelle (6/5): We appreciated the welcome gifts however we found the accommodation limited in terms of space and comforts. - The property is well located close to the Main Street of Margaret River. The outdoor space is sadly lacking. The outdoor furniture is broken and unsafe, leaving this area useless and unusable. The laneway behind the accomm is used frequently and before 6.00am by garbage trucks. The rubbish bins were full on our arrival. The facilities in the bathroom are average ( small shower, lack of hanging space) and lack of an ensuite, are inadequate for a 3 bedroom unit.
The condiments provided were minimal. The ice tray was annoying!
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (8/5): Very good -
- Baljit (8/5): Very good -
- Gabi (7/5): Would stay again, this was our 3rd time here and we love it - I like the location of accomodation as it meant we could walk to the shops and cafes in the morning The outdoor furniture was ages, slats of timber missing from the chairs outside. Didn’t want to sit on them or move them as we were afraid they’d break.
Coffee tables inside were quite wobbly and looked like the leg had been broken previously but was still attatched.
Other then that everything was great
