Lilja (9/5): The house is in a big garden and is very well kept and everything very clean and cosy. - The host welcomed us with the keys and all instructions and information we needed. Easy to get to the house with the tram nr. 7 from Hauptbahnhof Halle. Takes 2 minutes to walk to the station and the tram nr.7 goes to Marktplatz in the centre of Halle. Two groceries stores near by. The house had everything we needed and we used the grill to cook our dinner (as Icelanders do in all seasons). The beds were very good and the house fitted two families with 2 kids very well. The neigbourhood is interesting, some houses have seen better days but it is probably an up and coming area and the murals on the houses in the Freiraumgalleri are very interesting and makes the area more welcoming. Halle has many interesting sights, is an old university town with narrow streets, rich cultural history, big communal garden by the Saale river, many play areas (spielplatz) for children and many good restaurants to choose from. We will definetly check this house for availability next time we are going to Halle.
