• Johana (10/5): Recomendado cuando vengas a Villa de Leyva - Es una casa con 5 habitaciones aproximadamente, ubicada a 15 minutos de la terminal de transporte caminando y a 8 minutos a la plaza principal. La ubicación es muy conveniente, todo el pueblo es muy seguro y puedes caminar a todos lados. El desayuno fue increíble, café delicioso, fruta, huevos y pan. La habitación es muy cómoda, no hay aire o calefacción pero el clima es perfecto en villa de Leyva. La cama muy cómoda, la ducha y el baño agradable, todo muy limpio. En la casa hay una sala con chimenea, pudimos tomar vino y escuchar música suave. Por último todas las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy amables. Todo fue perfecto

La ubicación es ideal, muy cerca a la plaza y a la vez en una zona muy tranquila y reservada. Personalet Estrella og Michael var svært imøtekommende og gjorde alt for at vi skulle ha et hyggelig opphold. Frokost etter eget valg, ble servert ute i hagen. Nydelig rom med god seng og den beste dusjen vi har hatt hittil i ferien.

• Emily (8/5): Confortable - Desayuno monótono - El sitio es muy hermoso, pequeño y acogedor, queda a 5 minutos caminando de la plaza principal, entonces, es muy silencioso. El personal es muy amable. El desayuno es demasiado básico, es claro que es tipo americano, pero todos los días fue exactamente lo mismo, solo podías variar como quería tus huevos. Adicional, estuvimos 7 días, y no nos cambiaron las sabanas ni una vez, no organizaban la cama, y cambiaron una vez las toallas, porque se nos ensució uno porque llovió fuerte y se quería meter el agua por el balcón.

• Robyn & Donald (10/5): - A short walk from the main square, so an excellent location to get some peace and quiet during the busy NYE celebrations - the garden where breakfast was served was a real oasis. Even though we didn't speak much Spanish, the staff were really lovely and helped us as much as they could (via a lot of google translate!). The room and breakfast were fantastic. There isn't much soundproofing due to the hard floors, and our room at the front of the property did get some noise from guests coming in and out and breakfast service, but it was not excessive imo and didn't impact our sleep. I'd be happy to stay in the same room if I stayed again

• MARIA CRISTINA (9/5): UNA BONITA CASA FAMILIAR RE-DISEÑADA COMO HOTEL BOUTIQUE Y EXCELENTE ATENCION PERSONALIZADA - Una bonita casa familiar re-diseñada como hotel boutique , con un pequeño y agradable jardín, decorada con buen gusto y ubicada en la parte alta del centro histórico. Habitaciones cómodas, bien iluminadas y con lencería y artículos de tocador de muy buena calidad. Servicio personalizado, eficiente y cordial de Sandra, Estrella y Michael: siempre listos a darnos información y colaborar con nosotros. Pequeñas cosas por mejorar: el desayuno agradable pero puede mejorar en variedad y cantidad. La seguridad en el piso del baño para evitar accidentes. Dar información mas precisa sobre la forma de llegar pues hay obras de construcción en calles aledañas. Todo lo demás muy bien.
• SANDRA (8/5): - Las instalaciones son limpias y amplias para ser una casa (hotel boutique). Las señoras encargadas son muy amables y serviciales. Pero la habitación debería tener un closet o un mueble para colocar maletas y ropa. Toca colocar las maletas en el piso lo cual resulta muy incomodo. El desayuno es exactamente igual todos los días torrnandose muy monotono.

• Manuel (10/5): Muy satisfactoria. - La persona a cargo de organizar el desayuno fue muy eficiente y servicial. El desayuno fue muy complketo y de acuerdo con detalles que sugerimos. La persona que nos recibió estuvo listo a colaborar en lo que necesitamos, nos prendió la chimenea y nos puso música ambiental. Si bien no depende del hotel, las calles aledañas están destruidas y es de esperar que este asunto se resuelva a corto plazo, porque de otra manera salir a caminar es todo un desafío.

Hay que aparcar fuera ( es cierto que es una zona muy tranquila y no hay problema) Está en la parte alta del pueblo. Para nosotros no fue ningún inconveniente.

• Stephanie (9/5): Beautiful Stay at the Base of the Mountains - Casa Tzabar is a great place to spend time in Villa de Leyva. It is a short walk up the hill (closer to the mountains) from the main square. We could easily access town, restaurants, hiking trails, etc. The breakfast was delicious every morning. Absolutely, no fault of Casa Tzabar, but if there is a festival in the square, you can hear it up the hill. We arrived in the middle of the Fiesta de Virgin del Carmen and it was quite loud at night during the festival. Once the festival was over it was quiet and peaceful at night.

And really beautiful breakfast. The staff are the stars! Just five minutes walk to the main square and all the restaurants and bars.

• Jennifer (9/5): Beautiful, well -appointed and well-kept casa close to the center but a few blocks from any noise. - The casa is very beautiful, well-appointed and well-maintained and very clean. The staff were incredibly nice, warm and helpful (and very patient with our basic Spanish). It is close to the center of Villa de Leyva but a few blocks away so you aren’t disturbed by any noise. The breakfasts are good- fresh fruit, fresh juice, hot beverages, eggs, bread and jam. in general we liked everything… however we found the hot water for the shower was merely warm and only lasted 30 seconds…. not really long enough for a shower.

• Dianne (10/5): Would highly recommend! - This property consists of a beautiful, well appointed home and garden, set in a quiet location less than a 10 minute walk from the centre. The included breakfast was was one of the best we had in our month long travels through Colombia. If you need to walk back in the evening, the last few minutes of the cobblestone, uneven road are poorly lit. As the owners live in another city, only the cleaning staff are on hand to answer any questions about the surrounding area.
