- Kathie (10/5): Old World Charm in Heart of Maldon - It was very cosy (in winter) and so very comfortable with everything you need and more! (Books, blue tooth music player, plenty of firewood with a rustic charm and modern conveniences) So close to town to walk up for dining and shopping. And the added bonus was hens in the back yard that supplied us with breakfast!
A truly great place to stay to explore Castlemaine, Daylesford, Hanging Rock and more. If I had to answer this question I can only think that the floors a bit squeaky and uneven (which in a way adds to its charm)
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabrielle (10/5): Exceptional and memorable experience, already talking about our next longer stay. - The authenticity and comfort of the cottage, in an exceptional historic setting surpassed all our expectations. We felt immediately at home rather than just visitors and every need had been anticipated and catered for. There is absolutely no criticism to be made.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - This was our 2nd visit and we will be back again. Home away from home.
- Brendan (10/5): Perfect - Location was perfect, we just walked to the street in about 4 minutes.
Loved being there because it was actually my Grandmothers home many years ago, and I havent been there in 60 years.
Many memories.

- Christopher (9/5): Extremely enjoyable stay in a very friendly town. Highly recommend Sinnamon's Cottage, - Excellent location. Beautiful garden with chicken coop at the back of the house. All mod cons in a heritage home.
- Jill (9/5): We will stay again but with only 2 of us because of toilet situation - Everything except toilet in bathroom Toilet in bathroom
- Dianne (10/5): We loved our stay. Warm and cosy cottage with beautiful gardens topped off with the chickens ๐ชก๐ชก - So cosy
- Ros (10/5): Awesome, thankyou - Quaint and fresh eggs from chooks was a real treat. Nothing but couldn't seem to activate radio in kitchen area, but i am not very techno minded though.
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (9/5): Superb -

- Jane (9/5): Absolutely loved this cottage, so comfortable! Beautiful gardens, great bath! - We really donโt like sleeping under a doona and found it too warm. Would have appreciated sheets and a cotton blanket ๐
- Kathie (10/5): A charming cottage with lots of character - It was quaint and beautifully decorated with fresh flowers everywhere! The beds were comfortable and we loved the fireplace for warmth and atmosphere. It was fun collecting eggs for our breakfast from the chickens in the garden. Everything was well thought out and well presented. Nothing
- Dianne (10/5): Perfect for our mini craft retreat. The garden was beautiful and we especially enjoyed the hens ๐๐ธ - So charming. We loved the cottage.
Every room was so thoughtfully decorated, comfortable & clean! N/A
- Peter (10/5): The best cottage in Maldon amazing grounds and comfort inside - This was a wonderful stay one of the best, the cottage and grounds the whole are greater than the some of their parts and those parts features are very impressive; from the range of modern appliances to the thoughtfully present historical period items and books; also loved the great eclectic CD collection many of which were played during the visit in either of two players. The kitchen and bathroom in particular are greatly fitted out and very comfortable. Appreciated the fire place and wood available gave great comfort in the evenings. The proprietor was responsive and readily available for any queries I couldn't identify anything that was lacking or not good
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this cottage was absolutely perfect nothing
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect, and we enjoyed the chooks. The cottage is lovely with lots of charm. The kitchen is very well equipped. It's nice to have the selection of outdoor places to perch and enjoy the scenery. The beds need larger doonas. I always put a queen doona on a double bed and a king doona on a queen bed. There just isn't enough blanket for two people. Also, the toilet roll holder is mounted in a location that makes it difficult to reach.
- Sean (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (9/5): Superb -
- Carolyn (10/5): Wonderful Character Cottage - Beautiful little character cottage an easy stroll to town but tucked in a quiet location. The gardens were really lush making it feel like a shady oasis. Rather lovely sitting on the front verandah in the late afternoons reading a book.
The linen bedding was great too.
The kitchen is very well set up for self catering with ample crockery, cutlery and utensils. The chickens kindly provided fresh eggs for breakfast which was a real bonus.
The host Steven responds quickly and had provided plenty of information on the history of the village. Maldon was an interesting town and it made a good base for touring.
We would highly recommend staying in this cottage. We didnโt want to leave!
- Garry (10/5): Brilliant Stay - We popped up to Maldon for the weekend and this cottage was excellent.
We arrived with the air conditioner on for us which was a pleasant surprise, the rooms and beds were comfortable, the gardens we lovely, and best of all it was working distance to the main street.
We enjoyed a drink on the front porch and loved chatting to the chooks in the backyard.
Overall highly recommended. Maybe a small hamper of goodies for breakie but we popped out for breakfast anyway.
There was tea and coffee available and of course fresh eggs.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Had a lovely time and would not hesitate to return. - Beautiful historic cottage in a great location. Very clean and well appointed that lacked nothing. Loved the garden and the chickens supplying fresh eggs.
