Guest Reviews
- Tabita Carrasco (10/5): - Los caballitos 🐎

- Martin (9/5): -
- Desayuno normal. Bueno.
- INGRID (10/5): - Ambiente campestre, aire puro excelente atención .

- Benjamín (10/5): - Everything was really comfortable, really nice, I'm happy that we choose that place, amazing place for rest and with a beautiful landscape, thank you so much all the team involved. xx
- Felipe (10/5): Tranquilidad, paz y silencio.
- Maximiliano (6/5): Great to spend the day but not to sleep. - Very rustic and the owner and farm hand were very welcoming. The room, bed, bathroom, sheets. No food ready and nearest restaurant is 20 min away by car. No hot water and it is very cold.
- John (10/5): Lovely, large, rural situation and charming accommodation run by very amiable and efficient owners. - Breakfast was 'continental' although our experience may not be representative as we had an early start and requested breakfast at 6 am, which the owner was happy to do for us - Full Marks there! The place is an old stud farm for horses, on a very large and lovely piece of ground, with very traditional Chilean buildings, with old stables having been converted to bedrooms, which are quite large (stallion-sized?) and reasonable well-equipped. The dining and common rooms are old-Chilean charming and the garden housed hummingbirds and an owl. It was hard to find! The Google Map location was wrong and directed us to a site just off the main Quintero road when the actual site was a further 5 km or so up the small road towards the east. We found out only by asking two locals. When I informed the owner of the cabins she remarked that no-one had ever told her this before, so perhaps it was a recent mapping error, but that she had contacted Google and asked them to update the information. I have checked and the position is now correct whereas before it was marked as near the "Hornitos de Valle" restaurant ( see map)
- James (6/5): A quiet rural location - Gloria couldn’t have been more welcoming, and despite our lack of Spanish we managed to communicate reasonably well. The rooms look as though they are a converted stable block with a series of rooms on both sides. We had a large comfortable double bed and a single bed, with plenty of space for both of us. There is a main building with a lounge area with limited wi-if, but this doesn’t stretch to the bedrooms. It is set on a horse stables with fields and working areas around the accommodation. It was very peaceful, with normal farmyard noises.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Town is around 15 minutes away if you want something to eat in the evening, although there was a restaurant at the end of the road in the local village which we didn’t try.
We didn’t find it easy to locate when we arrived as it is set back from the end of the small rural road you drive along. The entrance is to the left of another entrance which is staffed and leads to other properties. There are two large gates with a lock you can undo and open the gates and then drive in through various buildings to the accommodation block. The room was a little cold and damp with only a small electric heater (wouldn’t be a problem at a warmer time in the year, we were there mid October). Things weren’t particularly clean with a layer of dust covering the seats in the lounge area, and the various items displayed in the blurb (like the pools) all looked a bit sad and run down. If you like rural and rustic, this would be a great place to stay, if you like things pristine then perhaps not so much.
- Salo_lara (10/5): Best place to stay and relax - Staff very very nice and kind, I didn't even think it was a good place until I was there and was really awesome! Definitely a must place to visit! I loved everything, so I didn't dislike the place or anything there, owner and staff were all the time kind and always willing to help us in whatever we needed.
- Christoph (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Good stay will stay again if I'm in the area. - The owner, Gloria was very nice. The meals were good, loved the fresh vegetables. Very quit and peaceful. I would stay here again. You do need to be able to enjoy a little rustic feel. The fact that there was no internet made it a little difficult for work. Had a hard time even getting cell service for hot spot from my phone, but over all was good.
- Paula (9/5): It’s a place to relax, sleep and disconnect - The tranquility and warming staff The room was too dark
- Thiag (9/5): Very nice farm stay in the middle of a beautiful valley - Super friendly staff, very big spaces and the rooms are designed from the old horse stables, that are unique. They have plenty of horses, so we got to ride the horses every morning. Food could be improved, like breakfast and dinner.
