Guest Reviews
- melinda (10/5): - Everything was wonderful.
So many little loving touches. We loved it!
- Cathy (9/5): -
- Carolyn (10/5): The white cottage was clean and comfortable with a relaxing homey feel. - The unexpected treats.
Feeding the sheep.
The peaceful surroundings.
- Kathy (10/5): - Wonderful location, beautiful accommodation. Host was lovely, amenities clean and inviting. Breakfast supplies and extra treats were provided.Good location to use as a base. Nothing to dislike, although there was a glitch with the TV. But we weren't there to watch TV!
- Alan (10/5): A wonderful place for a peaceful stay surrounded by farms. - A rural cottage in a peaceful farm setting. Well equipped with all the things needed for a longer stay. Nothing.
- Katy (9/5): Lovely stay for our Tasmania trip - Very nice quiet location, suitable if you have a car. Welcome food for snacks and breakfast on arrival was a nice touch as well as apples to feed the sheep which are right next to the property. The little cottage had everything we needed in terms of kitchen and bathroom facilities and was a great place to come back and relax in after a long day walking. There was an in issue with the WiFi cutting out and it didn’t always connect especially in bedroom and bathroom. There were quite a few small flies around all the lights, although difficult to avoid given the location. The living room could also have done with a better tv/smart tv.
- Jade (10/5): -
- Treena (9/5): Perfect little place to stay. - The property is located in a lovely spot with a beautiful outlook and provides all that is needed. Nothing
- Erminia (10/5): A lovely rural home less than half an hour from Launceston. - A lovely rural setting on a working farm with a perfectly presented home.
The beds were comfortable and inviting, the bathroom and kitchen were spacious and the enclosed veranda was a perfect spot to relax. The homemade bread and jam for breakfast was delicious as were the other supplies.
Feeding the friendly sheep was a real treat as was seeing the hay bales being made.
- Jai Raj (9/5): Great escape from big City life. Loved it ! - Location and privacy.
- James (10/5): A lovely quiet break for three nights over Christmas - Spotless. So clean. Beautiful house. Lovely owners. Great location so close to Launceston. So quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended Nothing

- L (10/5): Comfort, tranquility and sheep - Little Sunnyside is our go-to when visiting the area. Francesca is a lovely host who is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast cereal, milk, fruit bread, butter and homemade jam are supplied with instant coffee, hot chocolate and tea bags. Gulten free bread was supplied as requested.
Love the tranquility, comfort and of course the friendly sheep.
Always a perfect place to stay.

- Shorne (10/5): - Beautiful little cottage, out of town, quiet. The sheep are fun too. Nil
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (10/5): Little white cottage - The cottage was spotlessly clean and you could not ask for any more in the way of facilities and comfort. Also a big thank you to francisca for providing us with all the goodies especially the home baked bread 🍞 😋. Nothing
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (10/5): Brilliant - Self contained with every you need. Clean and comfortable. Nothing. A little isolated, but beautifully quiet
- Melvyn (10/5): Totally unforgettable!! - It was spacious, clean and very modern.
It was more of a home away from home as opposed to just somewhere to stay
Francisca went over and above to make us feel welcome There is nothing that I can fault.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - This was our second stay here and it was lovely yet again. The host is really helpful and welcoming, the cottage is beautifully set up and of course the friendly sheep (apples supplied) are just fun! A lovely peaceful spot.
Having access to a washing machine / dryer is also really helpful Nothing
- Narelle (9/5): Superb -
- Daphne (9/5): This was a great location to stay for a few nights and travel out each day exploring. - The hosts were excellent.
- Brenda (10/5): Excellent -
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - So close to everything so very convenient. However, peace of being on a farm, space, quiet, lovely host, everything we needed supplied, and house was immaculate/spacious/comfortable.
Charm of country farm house yet extremely well maintained.
- David (10/5): Very happy with accommodation, will book again if up that way. -
- Heather (9/5): Beautiful countty retrest - On arrival beautiful home cooked bread, raspberry and white chocolate muffins and full 1 litre milk in each cottage plus jam snd apples to feed the sheep. Location excellent/ quiet but central. Francesca the host lovely but was a bit strict about the 10am exit policy especially as we were out of the cottages by the assigned time and I had explained that I was unwell the previous day so was a bit slow. 10am is quite an early exit time also .
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - The owners care and attention to detail
The cabin was clean and comfortable and peacefull
The extras, like fresh home made bread, jams and bickies
Feeding the sheep made it even more worthwhile Nothing
- Joseph (8/5): Just the perfect mix of quiet, modern comfort to relax. - The cottage was exceptionally clean, fresh and had modern equipment. Really a nice change from some of the places I have come across.
Very tastefully decorated and not cluttered. Functional but good quality. There wasn't really anything that was not in keeping with expectations and beyond.
- Jane (7/5): Comfortable and clean accommodation - Clean, comfortable bed, fresh bread, and muffins Despite having the electric heater on, the place was quite chilly
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - Really well set up and supplied. Great view , quiet and peaceful. The owner was lovely and very obliging. Arrived on a rainy night to breakfast supplies, including home made bread and muffins, apples for us and to feed the friendly sheep. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. Nothing!
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional - The location was very peaceful and relaxing.
Very private, cosy and nicely appointed.
- Janette (10/5): Exceptional - The home made bread and jam were a lovely surprise as were the home made muffins and fresh apples.
Loved being able to feed the sheep with apples provided. We loved the cosy accomodation. The mattress was a little too firm for us.
- Rita (10/5): Very quiet, relaxing and private. Everything we needed for a short stay or even longer. - Great breakfast with some freshly made bread and treats added. Loved the peaceful, country location and feeding the sheep. Very clean and comfortable.
- Ross (9/5): An extremely comfortable stay. - Plenty of space and tastefully decorated - crisp and sparkling clean. Sheep-feeding was an extra bonus. A great alternative to staying in Launceston. Very few hanging points in the bathroom. Layout is more suited for permanent occupancy: wardrobes with doors rather than benches on which to lay out suitcases for a short stay. Bathroom layout was unusual: mirror was located above the laundry tub (which meant the vanity was not used). Wi-fi was flaky.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valmai (10/5): Very enjoyable - Welcome gift of fresh bread and home made muffins and a good range of breakfast cereals. The house was so lovely and cosy and beds very comfortable. It was nice to sit on the enclosed veranda with cheese n crackers and watch the sun to go down. Would highly recommended and would stay there again. It was perfect
- Antony (10/5): A marvellous quiet place to stay when visiting towns and places in Northern Tasmania - Our sentiments were expressed fully in the Visitors Book Perfecto
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional - just loved it a great
- Paul (10/5): Great property for a short stay in Hagley - Fantastic small unit in a quiet location. The owners very helpful and the fresh bread on arrival was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was great, and the unit was lovely and warm. We will be back! Nothing
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (10/5): Perfect country stay - Feeding and watching the sheep and lambs. The breakfast basket was perfect start to the day. Internet was limited
- Sara (8/5): Country retreat in modern style - It is generously appointed with lovely touches like homemade bread and cake. There was more than enough breakfast for several days. Well equipped and comfortable. Some might find it a bit remote but I loved the rural setting. For me, a softer lighting option in main room would be helpful.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cottage very well appointed.
Enjoyed the little touches, fresh bread, muffins, feeding the sheep.
- Van (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (4/5): Adequate for our needs. Have stayed in nicer farm cottages for $100 a night. - Washing machine and dryer
Spotlessly clean upon arrival Scratchy linen. Old mattress, strange heating, couldn’t get oven to work, the owner popping in every day and telling us how to do things, eg open blinds when we were watching a movie.
- Brett (10/5): great value for money and great hosts - it was clean
lovely spot and close to townships arrived to fire going and a fresh loaf of bread nothing
- Kevin (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - The location was just what we wanted close to Agfest and surrounding towns. Lovely hot bread when we arrived with plenty of provisions for breakfast etc. Owner very friendly dropping off apples to feed the sheep and went for a lovely walk around the property which was very interesting. Lounge not comfortable no head rests
- Myriama (9/5): Wonderful. - Very clean, very quiet, lovely outlook, excellent instructions for use of items like the pellet wood heater, comfortable, lovely breakfast provisions. Coffee Pod Machine would have been a bonus.

- Debbie (10/5): It was lovely and peaceful and we had everything we needed. A true little treasure - cosy clean and comfortable. By far the best place we stayed in on our trip around Tasmania
- Shorne (10/5): Away from the City - Everything. Such a beautiful little cottage. Arrive to fresh baked bread, selection of breakfast options. Stunning. Nil
- Paul (10/5): A must for a secluded getaway - Great setting, very clean and tidy.
- Barry (9/5): Great little place - Absolutely spectacular location. Quiet peaceful and great value for money. Francisca warmly welcomed us and all the facilities we needed were readily available. There's nothing i didn't like about little Sunnyside
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victor (8/5): Very good - Accommodation and initial contact with owner was good. Some confusion on requirements for 4 persons. Assumption was we were couples and could share beds and rooms. After face to face discussion over requirements for 4 persons, and being told there would be no further charge. We were well home when we were asked for an additional 220.00 dollars, because the room was used. As it was we booked for 4 passengers and only used 3 beds. Poor business practice and follow-up. Spoiled the stay. Won't return because of that one issue.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edna (10/5): Lovely property in superb location - Everything was perfect Nothing
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was perfect, clean and homely Nothing at all

- Arminder (9/5): Superb - Aircon is required
- Heather (9/5): Superb - Home made local breakfast provisions great Perfect cottage in the rural area
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Beautiful accomodation in beautiful farm location. Leaves nothing to want. - We loved everything about Little Sunnyside. The location is beautiful set on a farm in the rural countryside. The accommodation itself is superb. There is nothing to fault it. We stayed in the two bedroom house. This has been fully renovated to a very high standard and nothing has been overlooked by way of comfort or convenience and it is presented in a very clean and neat condition. The lovely enclosed patio is the icing on the cake. Our wonderful host left a beautiful loaf of fresh bread and basket of fruit for us on arrival, such a nice and welcoming gesture. It was a pleasure to stay there. Highly recommended all round, a wonderful place to stay and well situated for easy access to many places of interest. There is nothing we did not like about this place, but if you want to eat out the local options are limited.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Best accommodation for some tine. - Very quiet. Well equipped. The heater was a bit noisy, Would haver liked an external power point to be able to top up our EV. The lighting was a
bit harsh for reading or watching TV. A floor lamp or the like would be a great addition.
- Liliana (10/5): Nice - Was a nice and comfortable house, surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (8/5): an enjoyable stay - being on a farm and feeding the sheep unable to start gas heater
