Philip (9/5): A nice place to stay close to beautiful Balingup. - A quiet location, very scenic. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was excellent. The bathroom was very cold and cold do with a strip heater. There was no free to air TV.

Iain (8/5): Great family location. - Beautiful location on a fantastic property, a really good place for a family or larger group to stay. Some nice farm animals you can interact with. The owner was very helpful and the little coffee shop on site was a very welcome bonus in the morning before we left. No reverse cycle air-conditioning. We were unable to get the fire started later in the evening after we returned from dinner and couldn't get the place heated. They do provide some firewood but the kindling was too large and wouldn't light. No power points easily accessible nect to the beds in the main bedroom. The bathroom could do with a bit of an update and a heater in the bathroom would be great as the room is outside the main home and was freezing cold.

The cooking facilities in our cottage could be updated and checked for a good clean. Som questionable options in there. Options for little portable heaters could be handy. The back rooms would be freezing so having portable little oil heaters would be good idea

The taste of the water and it was really hot during the nights. The bathroom didn't have much ventilation so there was an odour.

Gillian (8/5): Restful, relaxing - The seclusion and quiet time with no traffic. No Internet didn't worry us. A good supply of books and videos to read and watch in the evening. It was quite a long trip to Nannup. About 22 klms. But it was worth it as it was a spectacular drive along the Blackwood River Valley. Just a little hard driving back each day in the dark.

Beautiful forest and surrounded by birdsong and nature- just perfect Rusty shower rail and not a fan of shower curtain - bathroom needs a bit of a revamp. Zero internet in Gillicks cottage but we survived!
