- Louise (9/5): -
- Ann-Marie (5/5): Only there from late in day and gone next day so very hard to make to much of comment. - Great location.
Essy to walk up and down shopping area. Very interesting selection of shops. The breakfast ok without being amazing
- Carolyn (10/5): -
- Wendy (7/5): Happy 4 day stay in Kyneton. - Location was most convenient. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and museum. Excellent informative museum. Lighting in rooms could be better. The lounge light had 2 globes not working but we could see the cobwebs on it.
Noise from road traffic at night as our bedroom was at the front of the property.
- Gill (8/5): Very good -
- Vincent (6/5): Reasonably comfortable. In retrospect there better reasonably priced options available. - Good location, clean and things worked. Was expensive for what you got- despite Easter period
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Shernie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Morris (7/5): Building was OK, but breakfast was disappointing - It was clean and tidy, and I had no problems with the lockbox. The off street parking was fine too. Having booked accommodation with breakfast, I expected to find a suitable selection. In the pantry there was some cereal. In the fridge there was a jar of jam, some strawberries and a plate of butter. No bread or rolls, no eggs. It was very spartan and disappointing. The operators shouldn’t offer breakfast if they don’t intend to offer at least the basics. I have never stayed somewhere that offered breakfast and didn’t deliver. Also, whenever I looked there were signs telling me to clean up, not to use too much electricity etc. it certainly wasn’t welcoming accommodation. I wouldn’t recommend Goldie’s to my friends.
- Raymond (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): The house needs to be pre-heated before arrival, it was very cold and took a long time to heat up. -
- Beverley (8/5): excellent facilities, very comfortable. and we’ll positioned . - quaint cottage, but excellent facilities, the breakfast was very poor and would have expected it to be better than a box of cereal and a bit of fruit for the price per night
- Wayne (8/5): We had 9 nights due to activities in the area, it was a good base to stay. - Good location in Kyneton, not far from the gin distillery and other restaurants, cafes and shops in Piper St. Good access to the river walk which takes you to the botanic gardens then walk back through town.
