• Kathryn (10/5): Cosy B&B a short walk from the bus terminal - We had a wonderful stay at this cosy B&B. The young woman on reception spoke good English and was so welcoming and friendly and gave us good ideas for hikes in the mountains. The guesthouse is in a great location, only a very short walk from the bus terminal.There was no noise at night so we slept very well. Breakfast was plentiful. To have the offer of eggs at breakfast would have been the icing on the cake!

Das B&B liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum, aber da El Chaltén sehr klein ist, ist alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

• Lorena (10/5): Schönes B&B in ruhiger Seitenstraße - Super schönes, kleines B&B mit gemütlichen Zimmern. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren sehr sauber und hatten genug Platz. Die Angestellten geben gute Tipps zu Wanderungen und waren stets zur Stelle. :-) Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber absolut ausreichend. Wer früher weg muss, bekommt ein vorbereitetes Frühstück - ein toller Service! Die Lage ist auch super, nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße, aber alles ist in Laufnähe.

La dueña y los chicos que allí trabajan son geniales, nos brindaron muy buena información sobre las actividades a realizar y otros datos. En el salón del desayuno hay vistas a la atracción principal: el Fitz Roy! Se puede compartir heladera, dejar las mochilas antes y después del check on o check out, para continuar conociendo el pueblo y sus paisajes. A 3 cuadras de la terminal y a pocas del inicio de los mejores senderos. Comedor a disposición todo el tiempo para usarlo... Todo limpio, muy agradable, una espectacular experiencia donde uno se siente como en su casa Baño compartido con otra habitación, chica. De todas maneras, ya sabía antes de alojarme que era así. Aunque siempre estaba impecable y más limpio que si hubiera sido individual (todo el tiempo lo limpiaban, cambiaban jabones, etc)

I also like very much complimentary tea they serve every day at the reception. Be careful and plan your arrival ahead. From 2PM to 5PM the reception is closed (siesta), so you would need to wait with check in.

Lo más parecido a estar en casa aún en la salvaje Patagonia. El desayuno casero para empezar el día con vistas al Fitz Roy no tiene precio 😊 Nada!

• Lana (9/5): Lovely B&B on a perfect location, with clean rooms, a kind host and delicious breakfast. - A wonderful B&B with a kind and helpful host, super clean rooms, lovely breakfast with cake and fresh coffee every morning, a common fridge to keep own food items, and most of all a perfect location (pretty quiet, walking distance from bus station as well as all hikes around el chalten!) We would have appreciated the possibility to cook our own dinners - if this is essentiële for you, you should find another accommodation. Other than that everything was perfect!

• Ee (9/5): Loved it! - Stayed here before and after our Torres Del Paine hike. Breakfast is ready in the kitchen at 5am so you can set off really early. The hostel is about 12 min walk from the bus terminal so getting to and fro the bus terminal in the wee hours is no issue as well. Hosts are very warm and welcoming. They let us keep the luggage in our rooms when we checked out before the hike (and help us move them to storage accordingly). When we were back, the bags were ready for us in our rooms again (a very nice feeling when you are all tired from the long journey). Room is clean, comes with ample space for our backpacks and tables for our personal items. Sound proofing isn't great but wasn't an issue for us in any way.
• Alexia (9/5): Superb - Cosy little B&B on the outskirts of town. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed was comfy and the breakfast sets you up for a day's trekking. I was reluctant to leave! Great choice of B&B!

• Mia (9/5): Sweet little bed & breakfast - Lovely little bed & breakfast with some nice touches. Staff are friendly & helpful. Beds were comfortable & shower worked well with good hot water. We liked that you could request breakfast to be set aside in the fridge for you on the days you leave super early to set off hiking … but wish there could have been more than 2 small slices of bread each and some real coffee (the sachet coffee is not good at all). The heating was great and the room stayed nice & cosy all night. Nice views from the window. Staff was wonderful! I would recommend dropping the sachet coffee and switching to at least instant coffee for the folks who get an early breakfast. We were in room 2 which was close by reception so there was some noise from peoples’ conversations. Price was high but prices are all high in El Chaltén.
• Jakob (9/5): Great place to visit! - The property wasn’t in the best location if you planned to hike in and hike out without a car but honestly, if you can hike 12-15 miles you can hike an extra .5mi to the trail. We drove, and appreciated the car so much at the end of the hikes. The breakfast was good, the staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the the cost was fair especially for the location I didn’t enjoy a shared bathroom. It was in the description of course, but I still didn’t love it.
