Guest Reviews
- Paul (8/5): - Didn't have breakfast but everything was great. If was Primarily a place to sleep
- Sam (10/5): - Atete is a wonderful host. She is Hawaiian and very interesting. She is a very talented musician also. Who would love to play for you.
- D (10/5): A restful & hospitable B & B with stunning views near the centre that is worthy of my recommendation - I had a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay. I arrived late and every effort was made to accommodate my late check-in. I was greeted with a warm welcome and offered a warm beverage by the manager/owner. This took me by surprise as I was not expecting this. Although tired from my weary travels before arriving, I felt like I had arrived home and settled comfortably - the manager and I chatted for a while.
The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and I fell asleep quickly and admittedly into a deep sleep. I had forgotten to bring my slippers, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a pair of slippers in the room for my use.
The following morning, I had a shower and utilised the clean towels. The hot water was instant, and the classic bathroom style and decor had a personal touch, including delightful artwork of dolphins created by the owner.
I like a strong coffee, and surprisingly, the owner had a hot cup of special coffee on the table, along with a variety of items and condiments, including raisin bread, jam, banana, and scrumptious savoury cakes.
I moved from the brekkie table to sitting on a stool where I could admire the vast expanse of greenery whilst sipping on my cuppa. I was in awe of the magnificent view and I took a few photos.
The owner offered to drive me to the airport and I took her up on the offer. I must admit I did not expect such a nice and memorable experience over such a short stay. I walked out of this sanctuary thinking I wish I could have stayed longer. I travelled to the Sunshine Coast for a conference, stayed one night, and had to fly home the next day due to work commitments.
I reminisce on my short time at this B & B and have told my friends and family about my experiences. I highly recommend this B & B and I encourage you to stay for a while and experience the serenity, tranquillity and hospitality. You will love it!
I took some amateurish photographs that might provide a glimpse of the stunning views.
- Shirley (7/5): Comfortable Homestay - Very obliging host. Modest accommodation but clean and tidy.
- Matthew (4/5): Somewhat overpriced for what it was. - Location. Host was lovely. Poor communication prior to arrival.
Bed mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and squeaky.
- Natalie (4/5): Lovely host but I wouldn't stay again. - The host was lovely and its very quiet. The room and bedding smells very musty and a smoke detector in the lounge was beeping and during the night the one in the bedroom started too. It's a little too away from the highway to get around quickly.
- Anita (8/5): Very good - Tiki was a delight to be around she was one of the most interesting ladies I have meant in a while she iis a very interesting to to talk to Nd very knowledgeable person and thank you for letting me get to now you and it was all my pleasure keep up that senceofhumer you have a gift. Everything and a top view
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely little room, a place to park your vehicle, a nice breakfast provided with tea and coffee and a happy lady to chat to. Hmmmm???
- Kim (1/5): Bad -
