Far too expensive for the facilities provided, but we booked last minute so maybe that impacted the price. The kitchen was big and well equipped. We had to pay extra for towels, some taps weren’t working, shower heads sprayed everywhere, sheets were old, scratchy, thin, and didn’t fit the bed properly so came off with little movement leaving us sleeping on the bare mattress. Breakfast was very basic. It was the first time we used the sleeping bag liners that we packed in case. The room felt unclean. Staff were sometimes pleasant, sometimes uninterested. Breakfast was average. Heater in the room could not be adjusted, and had a strong gas smell. When we checked in we did not have cash, as they preferred cash staff said just to pay prior to checking out. We had an early night, lights off etc and staff knocked on our door three times waking us asking for payment. We had also been sitting around the hostel for the afternoon, and seen this staff member multiple times.

• vittorio (4/5): Ultimatum minaccioso - L'ostello è carino e pulito. Poco dopo aver fatto una prenotazione non rimborsabile su Booking.com mi arriva un messaggio con un ultimatum che minaccia di cancellare la prenotazione e tenersi l'importo totale se non avessi pagato il 50% dell'importo entro 2 ore. Questo è il messaggio: Ciao, grazie per la tua prenotazione al GIRAMUNDO HOSTEL. Per confermare la prenotazione, richiediamo un acconto del 50% del costo totale del soggiorno tramite bonifico bancario. I nostri dati bancari sono riportati di seguito (....). Una volta effettuato il bonifico o l'acconto, ti preghiamo di inviare la ricevuta di pagamento a (.....) indicando il tuo nome e il numero di prenotazione, in modo che possiamo verificarla. Se la prenotazione è per il giorno stesso o per il giorno successivo, il termine per l'invio della ricevuta di pagamento è di 2 ore. Per i giorni successivi, la ricevuta di pagamento deve essere inviata entro e non oltre 24 ore dalla prenotazione. Se il bonifico o l'acconto non vengono effettuati, ti preghiamo di ANNULLARE la prenotazione, poiché l'ostello non manterrà la tua prenotazione e ti verrà addebitato l'intero importo in caso di cancellazione. Una volta arrivato all'ostello inoltre mi trovo a dover pagare automaticamente una maggiorazione del 15% per usare una carta di debito. È la maggiorazione più alta richiestami da un ostello dopo 2 mesi di viaggio in Argentina. Normalmente o non chiedono nessuna maggiorazione o chiedono al massimo il 10%. Nessuno mi ha invece proposto nè tantomeno effettuato automaticamente lo sconto dell'IVA del 21% visto che presentavo un documento di identità straniero e pagavo con carta di debito straniera. • Maitane (5/5): - La ubicación. La chica que prepara el desayuno ha estado tocando los animales que hay en el hostal y sin lavarse las manos (que lo hemos visto) ha sacado los panes del desayuno. Eso si, sin decirnos un buenos días, después de acabar de desayunar, nos ha venido a la habitación a pedirnos que teníamos que recoger nuestro desayuno y fregarlo. Además nos han cobrado 10€ más de lo que indicaba booking.

• Enrico (9/5): - zu aller erst: für die leute die ihre Trips mit booking oder ähnlichem buchen, sucht die unterkünfte über die plattform heraus aber wendet euch dann direkt an die website/instragam. die preise sind nämlich erstens nicht so wie es später sein wird (aus 25.000$ wurden 30400$) als ich nämlich spontan eine nacht länger geblieben bin hat es nur 22000$ gekostet. nun zur Unterkunft: sehr schön angelegt, fast direkt neben dem Bus terminal mit schöner Terrasse und sehr hilfsbereitem und freundlichem Personal. die Zimmer/duscjen Toiletten waren alle sauber. Frühstück ist überschaubar aber hat alles was man braucht und ist liebevoll angerichtet. Betten waren sehr weich aber sehr angenehm. WLAN funktioniert teilweise nicht gut obwohl es mehrere hat, es wird den tag über musik gespielt was allerdings auch nicht stört da es einfach dazugehört. man hört nur leider ab früh morgens wenn die Busse abfahren.

• Silvia (6/5): Überteuert und doch "günstig" für den Ort! - Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter/Besitzer. Ich hatte Glück und hatte von 3 gebuchten Nächten das 6 er Zimmer für 2 Nächte für mich allein. Die Besitzer/Mitarbeiter scheinen sehr tierlieb zu sein, es gibt einen sehr scheuen Hund, der wohl gerettet wurde und eine Katze! Die Alpaka/Lamawolldecken halten warm in der Nacht. Ich war über Weihnachten im Hostel. Es gab ein von den Besitzern/Mitarbeitern selbst gekochtes, gemeinsames Abendessen (glaube es sollte 7.000 ARS/ pro Person kosten). Ich habe nicht daran teilgenommen, die Idee war jedoch ganz nett! Es gibt Obst zum Frühstück! Die Matratzen sind extrem durchgelegen und eine Katastrophe bei Rückenproblemen.Das hat meiner Meinung nach nichts mit Hostel/Hotel zu tun! Das Gesamte Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für mich nicht! Absolut überteuert, für das, was man bekommt. Die Tür zur Frauendusche ließ sich nicht richtig schließen und einmal hat jmd nicht gewußt, wie man eine Tür schließt. Somit wurde es kalt im Duschraum und jeder konnte im Vorbeigehen reinschauen. Es gibt 2 Sitzgelegenheiten draußen, die leider dann auch direkt vor dem Zimmer sind, der Rauch der Raucher zieht bei offenen Fenster rein und Weihnachten saßen die Leute dort noch bis 5 Uhr in der Früh!
• Alex (4/5): Macht Preise wie es ihm gerade gefällt - Das Hostel könnte sehr gemütlich sein, ABER.. - Der Besitzer hält sich nicht an die Preise von Booking. Uns wurden im Verlauf von 6h drei unterschiedliche Preise aufgetischt. Die Begründung am Schluss die Belastung auf unserer Kreditkarte vor der Anreise verursache Gebühren. Normale Kartengebühren die in der Regel das Unternehmen tragen muss. - Volunteer vor Ort war unbrauchbar, dieser wies die Schuld immer von sich. Kommunikation dadurch sehr schwierig. - Die Betten sind total durchgelegen. Komfort fehlt hier weit und breit. - Küche war sehr schmutzig und ist nur mit Aluminiumware ausgestattet (gesundheitsschädlich) - WC Türen nicht schliessbar, weil das Schloss kaputt ist und nicht repariert wird. - Seife war auf dem Frauen WC nicht vorhanden und auf dem Männer WC so stark verdünnt, dass sie nicht mal mehr schäumte. - Die Hintertür ins Hostel ist immer offen, sprich es kann kommen und gehen wer möchte. Das muss nur einmal entdeckt werden und alles kann geklaut werden. Der Faktor der Sicherheit fehlt also auch. Als Fazit lässt sich sagen, es wird versucht möglichst viel Profit aus dem Hostel zu machen ohne dem Gast etwas zu bieten. Auf alle Fälle nie wieder!

• Joerg (7/5): - Due Freundlichkeit der Rezeptionistin und des Volunteers (Name habe ich vergessen). Nachts um 22:30 Uhr aus dem Bett geholt zu werden, um sofort für die Verlängerungsnacht zu zahlen. Die sanitären Einrichtungen. Urinale waren defekt und die Toilettentüren konnten nicht abgeschlossen werden. Das Zimmer konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden und lag neben dem unversclossenen Hinterausgang zur Straße.

• Gaston (5/5): Una experiencia en Purmamarca - La ubicacion del Hostel y el precio quizas sean lo que destacan al Hostel. El lugar de estar en la recepcion es realmente muy bueno y las habitaciones cuentan con estufas electricas. Las camas no eran buenas , y la limpieza de los baños tampoco. Faltaba mantenimiento en los migitorios, algunos no funcionaban. Habia un problema con el gas en la cocina durante mi estancia.

• Caroline (6/5): Demasiado caro - El salon y las pinturas murales. Demasiado caro por la cualidad. Dormi en cuarto de esta cualidad hace 15 años en Peru. No vale la pena de pagar por un cuarto sola. Pagé mas de 30€ y por este precio esperé mas confort. Por supuesto los baños son viejos y sucios. Ademas huele el pipi de gato en mi cuarto.
