- Justin (10/5): Great food, amazing host, perfect location. - Location was superb. Breakfast is elegant and so much great food. The building had very little lighting.
- Stephanie (10/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): Great location at an affordable price. - It was very close to the center of Salzburg (old town), which made everything very walkable. You are able to take the bus from and to either the airport or train station with ease. It isn’t a real bed and breakfast with breakfast served in the morning. The hostess did keep the same small sweets out the entire visit.
- Spagnoletti (3/5): -
- Robert (10/5): The host is awesome and the sweetest person we've ever met. - Sarah is the sweetest host (and person) on this planet:). She speaks approx 6 languages so there are no issues with those traveling from other countries.
- William (8/5): -

- LondonAnnie41 (2/5): A cluttered apartment - Sarah could not do more try and help you. Her apartment is central and is in a very good location. However my experience was not good. The shower flooded the apartment. The WiFi did not work and the promised breakfast was not available.
To offer gifts of fruit, chocolates etc was lovely but of little recompense for the expensive inconvenience.
- ann (3/5): This was a very disappointing stay - The location of the accommodation was central and easily accessible to the town. Sarah was friendly and welcoming and tried her best when things went wrong. The accomodation was cluttered with an unwanted baby grand piano plus a non functioning traditional heater. The wifi went out for 24 hours. The shower flooded the bathroom as there was a fault. Therefore we did not shower on the second day.. The breakfast that was highlighted in the documentation as being a major plus was cancelled because it was not convenient to Sarah. She tried to recompense that by sending us to a good restaurant at her cost but we would have preferred breakfast onsite as advertised. You hadto scramble under the bed to access a power socket
- Pieper (10/5): - Unquestionably the best bnb experience I’ve ever had. Sarah is extremely friendly. Easily available and responsive. Treated us like royalty.
- Lauren (10/5): Sarah made our stay ideal! - Breakfast was beautiful and extensive, and Sarah waited on us hand and foot with anything we could want. She was also extremely helpful with recommendations of things to do around the city and helping us with navigation. She was so helpful and wonderful, it almost felt like staying with family! The location is also great, right on the edge of old town and a short walk from everything you'd want to see. Literally nothing - we had a great time!
- Wells (8/5): A unique and lovely experience - Unique in character and setting. Lovely lady running it. Nothing
- Gregory (9/5): I look forward to staying here again in the future - great location and a lovely view across the river, short walking distance to all I wished to visit in the allstadt, wish I could have stayed longer not being able to extend my stay due to a communication problem with booking.com before my arrival
- Avery (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nora (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hugo (10/5): This is a place to return and experience it in all seasons. - Nothing, everything was simply perfect....

- Karla (10/5): Romantic - Perfect central location, homely, stunning views and Sarah - the most wonderfully kind and generous host!
- Dianne (10/5): Christmas market stay. - Sarah is a lovely host. She is very attentive and makes you feel really welcome. Gave some really good information on what to see and where to eat. Nothing.

- Adrienne (10/5): charming, convenient, and very special - Sarah's is the perfect place for travelers who want an alternative to a standard hotel atmosphere. It has loads of charm and Austrian ambiance. Sarah is wonderfully attentive and accommodating. She prepares a beautifully healthy breakfast, presented with her creative, luxurious flair. The location is convenient for easy access to stores and sites on both sides of the river, public transportation including transport to and from the airport on the #10 tram, and it is walking distance to the fortress, markets, and more. Accommodations include pretty views of the river right outside the window, an abundant breakfast, refrigerator, coffee maker, and tea kettle. It was the perfect location to make our visit to Salzburg extra special.
- Ellen (10/5): Place like home in Salzburg - Sarah was a wonderful hostess. Our son nicknamed her "Mother Sarah" because she took such good care of us and him. Went above and beyond what we would expect--ironed his shirt for a concert, made him homemade omelette...Very plentiful breakfast with a lot of diversity and fancy decorated cappuccino. Great suggestions for walking around the city sites and dinner. Lively conversation--we felt very welcomed. Views from our room and the breakfast room overlooked the river. We would definitely stay here again! Nothing!
- Georg (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, on the river and a few minutes walking from the dome/center. Sarah is an amazing host - she made our visit truly special. She gave us a lot of historical context and recommended a very nice walking route. The breakfast is really a sumptuous brunch with homemade breads and top quality cheese, salmon, cereals etc. Amazing visit, will absolutely recommend if you want to experience Salzburg. Nothing
- Echols (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Wonderful - Beautiful home from home - wonderful hostess and great location. The view from our room was amazing - the river one side and the fortress the other. Delicious home baked breakfast too. Nothing !
- Aileen (10/5): Our stay at Sarah's was enchanting, enriched by her family's musical legacy, charming room details, and thoughtf - Our experience here was truly enchanting, thanks to the thoughtful and inspiring hostess, Sarah. Little did we know we would be staying with a family immersed in the soul of music. Upon returning from our day’s adventures, we were treated to beautiful music her son would play in the evening as he practiced on one of the many pianos throughout the floor. And, in a heartwarming unexpected gesture, after a wonderful conversation about the family’s musical journey, Sarah gifted me a beginner piano book, revealing that it wasn't just any book but a piece of her family's musical legacy. It had played a role in introducing her sons to the world of piano.
Our stay at Sarah’s was not only enriched by the musical legacy but also, by the charming details of the room. The spacious yet cozy ambiance provided a perfect retreat with a nice view of the river. The thoughtful touches, including freshly baked cookies, a Nespresso coffee machine, a fruit bowl and toiletries in the bathroom, added a delightful layer to our experience. To amplify these amenities, the room was equipped with a Bose system, creating an atmosphere that resonated with the musical theme of our hostess's family.
The combination of comfort, thoughtful amenities, and attention to detail in the room complemented the overall warmth and hospitality of our stay. Sarah's dedication to creating a memorable experience made our time there truly exceptional.
Thank you for the unforgettable experience, Sarah! You’ll be happy to know I started practicing my piano! 🤗
- Kenneth (10/5): A home stay not a generic hotel - This is a small property with 2 (maybe 3) rooms on the edge of the old city. The rooms are large and comfortable and have a wonderful view across the river. Breakfast is pleasant. Sarah is a great host and we enjoyed getting to know her. If you are looking for a very “local” type of stay this is it.
- Samuel (10/5): Fabulous time. Brought in the New Year with a smile. - Sarah was wonderful. She was attentive to every detail. Opened up her home to us. Made us a homemade strudel. Had champagne for us for New Year’s eve and we watched fireworks from our room window. Great location a couple blocks from Mozart Square. She went over the town map with us and made some great restaurant recommendations. This is a private home however we had privacy throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Nothing. Overall great stay.
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jazmin (10/5): Idyllic bed and breakfast with a lovely host and the best location in Salzburg - We absolutely loved our time at Sarah’s. The location is extremely walkable, the views are unbeatable, and the home is unique and stunning, featuring tall ceilings, a piano in every room, and beautiful furnishings.
Sarah made us amazing breakfasts every morning with a huge assortment of fresh fruit, jams, hot baked croissants, toast, eggs, salmon, yoghurt, and so much more. She also presses fresh orange juice every morning and makes lovely coffee drinks. Sarah even brought us home confections from her day trip to Linz - it was so nice to be thought of on her afternoon away. Unrivaled kindness and hospitality!
She also provided maps and a local’s advice on what to see and where to go. We were really able to maximize our time in Salzburg because of this. The bed and breakfast is located right off the walking/bike path that weaves through all of Salzburg. It’s also steps away from the older part of town with cathedrals, fountains, access to the fortress, and much more. We were able to walk everywhere very easily, and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Sarah!
- Catherine (10/5): Excellent breakfasts and very close to all the attractions of Salzburg. - It was an excellent place to stay with an excellent host where nothing was too much trouble. Nothing
- Salma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nadi (9/5): We would like to thank Sarah for the way she is and what she brings to the place and to our stay is truly unique and one - Our stay was pleasant, the place was like at home and the welcoming and professionalism of Sarah was exceptional.
We enjoyed very much her way of doing things and she is really the soul of the place. Pianos, music, high ceiling, candles, dried flowers and the presence of the spirits of the past through the books and mirrors surrounding all over the place really made our stay.
Our sleep was fantastic as well. Breakfast was perfect as well. We received lots of attention and care.
- Jackie (10/5): A fabulous host in a place that is very close to the old town. - A fantastic location in the old town right on the river. Sarah was amazing, a great hostess who put on plentiful and delicious breakfasts. It was a pleasure to meet her. The beds were very comfortable with luxury linen.
- Linda (10/5): First class stay with beautiful views and easy walking distance to all the main sites. - Fabulous breakfast, excellent location and Sarah was so kind and thoughtful. It was a pleasure to meet her.
