- Jack (10/5): Wonderful country stay with great Aussie hospitality - Gabi was such a joy to stay with - we were made to feel like family and had such a wonderful time in her presence. When we come back down to Gippsland, we will be sure to stay here again for a night, pull up a chair and have a coffee!
- Lucie (10/5): -
- mick (8/5): - Host friendly, interesting and helpful
- Russell (10/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): Was a memorable stay. Great host. - Gabrielle was friendly and entertaining. Nothing
- Rufus 795 (10/5): First time BnB user spoilt by the experience. - Great location as we attended the Bruthen Blues Festival. The room with private bathroom was great. Gabbie, the host was so accommodating with cooked breakfast, helpful advice on local attractions and places to eat. The country setting with the cows, chickens and other animals was also excellent. As a first timer BnB user, I am now considering changing from the unit style, high rise dog boxes that were previously rented to the more relaxed and intimate experience of BnB accommodation.
- carla (8/5): Comfortable home away from home. - Lovely rural setting in a quiet location. Host was friendly and welcoming.
- Arthur (10/5): Great BnB - Grounds and outlook are fantastic. Host Gabrielle is a gem.
- Glenda (8/5): - Country feeling, lovely and quiet, places to relax, cows and poultry were a bonus
- Carolyn (10/5): Excellent! Highly recommended đ - It is a beautiful and quiet setting with amazing bird life at your door step. Gabrielle is a wonderful, friendly and helpful host who supplies a yummy cooked breakfast every morning. There is 24 hour access to hot drinks, cutlery, microwave, toaster and fridge if you prefer to do your own thing. The rooms and bathrooms are all clean, spacious and thoughtfully decorated. Nothing I didnât like.
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional - What an amazing place to stay. So peaceful and relaxing and yet so close to visit Lakes entrance and Paynesville
Gabrielle, you are an amazing host, with your stories, knowledge of nature and the best cooked breakfast. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here
Gabrielle, keep doing what you do Nothing
- Nicole (5/5): Gabrielle was a lovely and welcoming host, and the property is beautiful and peaceful with a true co - What I enjoyed
Gabrielle Walsh was a very lovely and welcoming host. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with the sounds of kookaburras, chooks, and cows creating a true country atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and very generous, and Miss Twiggy the chihuahua was a delightful and friendly presence. The setting itself felt calm and scenic, offering a genuine country experience. What I didnât enjoy / things to be aware of
No drinks are included with breakfast, and water needs to be requested, so this is something to keep in mind and potentially bring along. Breakfast is also quite substantial. During the warmer months it can be very hot, as the house and bedrooms are not air-conditioned despite being advertised as such. We stayed in a twin room and found it extremely warm even with two fans running, so bringing bug spray in summer is recommended.
The rooms are within a large farmhouse where the host lives, and noise from the TV and general household movement can occasionally be disruptive. We also felt the bathrooms and floors could benefit from a higher standard of cleanliness, particularly with vacuuming and general upkeep.
- Nicole (10/5): Highly recommended. - Awesome! Loved the rural location yet so close to Lakes Entrance. Yummy breakfasts. Comfy bed. Nice & quiet. Host Gabby was delightful & lovely to talk to. Nothing at all. Was perfect.

- Valerie (10/5): Friendly host and lovely little place. - Gabrielle was an awesome host. We were lost and arrived quite late in the night and Gabrielle stayed up for us. When she found out my daughter loved animals she also showed us Kookabooras which comes over to her house! The stay was awesome, value for money. Couldn't ask for more.
- Joan (10/5): Gabrielle is a very interesting lady and she made our stay âone out the boxâ! A delightful experience. - Beautiful property, comfortable accommodation, and a very engaging hostess.

- Susie (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly host, comfy bed and delicious homemade brekkie!
- Vivian (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was fabulous! The bedroom was small, which meant we tripped over our suitcases when we moved around. Although there was closet space, we were only there for two nights and didn't want to go to the work of fully unpacking. An extra bed or suitcase rack would have helped.
- Jenny (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay. Nice and peaceful. Breakfast was beautiful and fresh and had plenty to eat. - Really nice place and gardens. Very quiet. Nothing not to like.

- Phebe (8/5): Nice little BnB - I travelled for work and the host accommodated my early 730am departure by cooking up breakfast earlier than usual (typically between 8-9:30am) which was unexpected. The Klimt room/ ensuite was nice - it would have been more enjoyable had I been on a holiday and not a work trip! The cows were gorgeous. A full length mirror would have been good in the room. The rooster also starts up quite early in the morning so if you are a light sleeper, pack some ear plugs! (and go to bed early haha).

- Suzanne (8/5): Lovely hostess. -
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional - Gab is a friendly & helpful hostess, something much appreciated when you're a solo traveller. Her place is well presented, peaceful, and comfy (booked the "Klimt" Queen). I love the birds, farmlet, garden & forest. Breakfast was wholesome & delicious. And so many different teas on offer!
