Friendliness of staff and other guests. Loved seeing the fruit trees with fruit on them. Nothing. Happy with weekend away with husband to get out of mediocre life stuff.

• Greta (8/5): Lovely, quiet getaway with fabulous host. - The owner was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. It is a lovely, quiet location with panoramic bush views. It was quite cold when I was there and I imagine that the Sunshine Coast hinterland is not set up for that. While there was heating in my room, it was not particularly effective. For the price of this B&B, I would have thought there would be more consumables in the room - tissues, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner.

Located in a beautiful spot, lots of walking trails, waterfalls & quaint towns nearby. Very relaxing place will be returning... The skylight in the ceiling , we had trouble closing the blind.

Rooms are motel like with ensuite and a very comfy bed. Surrounded by lovely gardens with a French country feel and swimming pool. Hosts (who inspired me .. you will know why when you stay) are very lovely but also leave guests to their privacy .. Breakfast is delicious and a real coffee machine. Very efficient business. I could not stay longer.

There is even a gorgeous view at the smoking area. I felt part of the place. The breakfast that Tezz cooks up is awesome and has so much good food that I couldn't eat it all. The quietness and serenity were what I was looking for, and I got that and more. It is a beautiful space with gorgeous people. Ty Tezz, Mandy, Gilbert, and the other lady I spoke to when I arrived. In such a gorgeous part of the world, too. 10/10. I only stayed 1 night.

Tess even asked how we like our eggs. The kitchen and pantry are exceptionally stocked with a great variety of produce. Yoghurt and juices in the fridge. Real coffee too. The gardens are beautiful to wander around, heritage roses fill the air with their rare perfumes. Birds sitting on the back veranda and the whip birds echoeing in the forestry as you take in the peaceful views which go on for miles through the mountains. Lovely sunset and early morning mists as you sit on your back verandah. Tess and Co. are very friendly whilst respecting your privacy. Being able to enter your room by 1pm is rare but beneficial to their guests. Cosy rooms for winter and comfortable beds.

The hosts Tezz and Gilbert were lovely people always friendly and considerate of guests needs. Tezz produced a delicious breakfast every morning. Surprisingly, even better than the photos! The gardens were immaculate, and same with the views! The rooms were so spacious, well kept, and sweet. We loved sleeping with the doors open and listening to the wildlife and birds outside while we slept. One of our favorite things was sitting on the balcony outside of our rooms. The kitchen was really cute and well stocked. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh every morning. They even took each persons egg orders and made them the way each of us likes. If you’re keen on walking and hiking then their property is right on the Sunshine Coast Great Walk track - literally on it! It’s also walkable distance from the Mapleton Pub. Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend in the country.

I guess more privacy on the deck outside to enjoy the view, perhaps with screens, that's about it. And as a gardener I always want to start working in people's gardens being a visual person.😄

• Lorna (10/5): Great peaceful hideaway with wonderful accommodation and breakfast - The host Tess went above and beyond is ensuring we had a great stay. The breakfast is superb and beautifully presented. The room has a balcony from which the view is astounding. There was a spa tub in our room and that was terrific after a hard days walking in the National Park. Mapleton itself is a lovely little town. Loved it all Loved everything

• Grace (10/5): Relaxing getaway with excellent brekkie. - The breakfast was fantastic. I'm vegetarian and it was amazing. The fruit platter was great. We loved the salt water pool and the little deck.outside the room with the view of the surrounding hills. The hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A great getaway. Will be back.
