Guest Reviews
- Julia (9/5): Overall was good stay and very pleasant. Not far to the township. - Spacious room, good bed, nice surroundings/garden and plenty of birds. The Swallows mess
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Kerrie (10/5): Perfect rural retreat. - Lovely rural retreat. Generous room size, great bathroom, tv and comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen and supplied with eggs and bacon for breakfast. More extras provided thanks to a generous host.
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reyhaneh (10/5): Exceptional - The house keepers prepared the details which show their love to their guests. Fresh flowers on the table, good quality stuff for breakfast,...
Wonderful place to stay relaxing and enjoyable
- Larry (6/5): Good for one night - Bright clean room. Nice bed and bathroom. Quiet and safe location. Carport was good place for parking. Netflix was nice to have The host seemed disinterested in us being there . Very little interaction. When asked about restaurant choices, the host gave us one or two but did not seem to be knowledgeable about nearby options. We saw lots open our way out of town.
The key was left in the door with a welcome note.
The Induction stovetop was not clean nor were the utensils so we washed them.
Not that it really mattered but breakfast was provided..so long as we did the cooking. That was not on the Booking.com site and we suggest that people might benefit from knowing they need to cook breakfast, rather than it usually being prepared by the B and B host
- Allan (7/5): Nice one night stay but not for long term - Nice rural setting with lots of space and quiet. Not well equipped to stay a few days. Tried to contact the owner twice and no reply. Found a spider in the towels too,
- Nicky (9/5): Lovely peaceful place, wish we could have stayed longer. - Lovely room and shower , all set up really well Nothing
- Poppy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place to stay. Although we weren't really there much as we were attending a wedding we would like to return to stay thr whole time
- Angela (9/5): Lovely retreat just outside of Port Elliot - Located just outside Port Elliot, all the facilities we wanted, breakfast suppliers, and bottle of wine and decanter of port! Quite spacious, quiet, lots of birds and roos.

- Caitlin (9/5): Superb - such a great location and close to Port Elliot. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Great value for money, would definitely recommend.
- Joseph (8/5): All good - The location's natural coolness and private entrance created a serene ambiance, making aircon unnecessary even in the summer heat, while the complimentary wine and chocolate added a delightful touch. The provision of a basic breakfast and the option to cook on-site further enhanced our stay. Maybe add an anti-slippery rubber mat in the shower
- Danny (10/5): Comfortable - Spacious, clean and quiet

- Goodbrac (9/5): A great break, a great retreat, a great holiday in a great area. Really great service from the hosts - The location is fantastic,
five minute drive to the centre of Port Eliot, and still remote enough away, to feel the tranquility of being away from everybody and everything.

- David (9/5): Delightful b&b. - Spacious & very comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting. The breakfast goods provided were mostly vey good, and there was also chocolate, wine & port. Coffee pods were good. Two minor quibbles - the butter provided was only sufficient for one breakfast (we were staying for two nights) and the shower drain appears to need attention- very slow.
