Guest Reviews
- anthony (10/5): Party of six - Good size rooms with comfy beds. Access to a Washing machine and drier. More than adequate kitchen utensils. Location is central to Adelaide, Barossa valley, Eden valley & Adelaide Hills. Having to leave after 7 days
- Yejin (8/5): It was a lovely time. - Loved the location. Very close to a wedding we were attending.
The staff were amazing!
The restaurant was 10/10 good. There are two bathrooms and the set out is very strange. Although the bathrooms were modern you had one bedroom with an ensuite and the main bedroom you had to walk through which is awkward if you had to go to the bathroom after people had gone to sleep.
There was also no bath mats at all.
- Kenneth (9/5): - Beautiful location. Great faclities. Close to the cellar door where we had a great lunch, but still feels very private with well laid out garden.
- Alexa (8/5): Great Hen's weekend - Location was great- never knew it was here!! Could have stocked a couple more dishwasher tablets and 3 x rolls wasn't enough for 7 of us for breakfast
- Miroslav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - The serinity.
We were there with a wedding party. The location and size was great with nice surrounds for photos. No complaints
- Henrietta (9/5): Beautiful little cottage - Beautiful cottage, lovely clean and brand new bathrooms, fresh linen, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and amazing wine. Would have been nice to have blankets for the evening to use on the couch. Surprised there was no vacuum available for guests to use.
- Daniel (8/5): Dad and Boys MTB Trip - Location Bedrooms Expected a little more for Money, felt a little closed in wasn't as secluded and private as expected
- Lesley (10/5): A fabulous girls weekend away celebrating a special birthday - It was a lovely old house in a gorgeous setting just metres from the winery.
The staff at the winery were always very helpful with whatever we needed.
The heated floors in the bathrooms Having to access the 2nd bathroom through the 3rd bedroom. Not a problem during the day but at night it’s a bit inconvenient for whoever is sleeping in bedroom 3.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good - Good location, good environment, friendly host Bathrooms were not convenient to access for all people.
Too much dust indoor, made us sneeze all the time
- William (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (10/5): Highly recommend this property. Can’t wait to return - Beautiful location and wonderful accommodation. Great hosts and very accommodating
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Sue (9/5): fantastic Easter weekend, great spot with everything we needed. - great location, plenty of space for our group. Fabulous winery, cottage is private and feels like you are further than 45 min from the city.
Four good sized bedrooms, well equiped kitchen and hosts very accommodating. We had a great weekend.
- Alexander (9/5): Had a great time - fantastic old house - very peaceful - great views of rolling hills - fresh sourdough bread as part of the breakfast - kitchen has verything you need Bathroom access is an issue for one of the four bedrooms - either from outside or via another bedroom
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was excellent, with exceptional bacon and bread, fresh eggs and lovely juice options. We were sorry we didn't get a chance to meet the hosts in person; we had a full weekend booked by our friend who lives in the area. We would be happy to stay again when we come back to visit the area.
- Sharon (9/5): it was lovely - great
- Susan (9/5): Characterful accommodation in a lovely setting, would definitely recommend to others. Thank you! - Beakfast was lovely, could have used more milk and bacon, ran out of each after the first morning. Loved the location and gardens, enjoyed our afternoon wine tasting on arrival. Bathroom configuration was a little inconvenient with several couples staying at once. We were disappointed that we were unable to use the open fire but understand that we were staying in fire restriction season. Being from QLD we were looking forward to having a fire as the weather was cold and raining throughout the day!
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- Carina (10/5): fabulously welcoming hosts that made our group feel special - cute cottage with perfect proximity to the winery
- Bronwyn (8/5): Very good -
- Fanoula (10/5): Exceptional -
