• Reinaldo (10/5): Hotel boutique - Hotel em prédio histórico (1751), bem no centro (i da mitt) histórico de Hallstatt. Hotel com apenas 4 quartos, o cuidado com detalhes é um destaque. Apesar do prédio antigo, instalações foram modernizadas sem perder a identidade. Quarto e banheiro amplos. Hoteis pequenos ou familiares geralmente sao limitados no café da manhã, mas aqui é bem servido (com frutas naturais). Apesar de não poder chegar de carro até o hotel, é disponibilizado um shuttle (sem custo adicional) do estacionamento P1 até o hotel ( e vice versa). Nada a mencionar.

• Bartholomew (10/5): Idyllic - Absolutely lovely hotel. Appears to have had a makeover recently and everything is to a high modern standard. Fabulous location right in the market square. Breakfast was super, best eggs of the whole holiday. Owner and staff really helpful. It was so good I didn't even mind being woken by the church bells. It has a steep staircase but what do you expect in a building built on the side of a mountain.

Vi hade turen att få bo i rummet med balkong ut mot torget, vilket var väldigt trevligt. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka! Rummet upplevdes ganska så varmt.

Checking in and out was very easy. I don’t know why I had to pay taxes in cash when I checked out, it wasn’t a lot but it was unexpected.

The apartment itself was beautifully designed and tastefully furnished, with great attention to detail. It was comfortable, clean, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was terrific and the breakfast was delicious. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend I Da Mitt without hesitation. There was nothing we didn't like.

Very friendly staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast in the mornings. Appreciated the dinner restaurant recommendations in the room when we arrived. The bed and pillow were a little uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have tissues available in the room. It was a little noisy downstairs on our second evening, when we were trying to go to sleep.

The room was spacious, clean, combining old 'rustic' and modern style, includes refrigerator, safe, coffee machine and kettle, additional fan heater, hair dryer. Breakfast was quite good, check-in even earlier than as per property rules, at check-out it was possible to left the luggage downstairs till evening. everything was perfect

Στα χρήματα αυτά καλό θα ήταν να προσφέρονται κάποιες παροχές οπως παντοφλες κλπ.Δεν πρέπει να στρώνονται στο κρεβάτι διακοσμητικά μαξιλάρια κ ριχτάρια τα οποία δεν πλένονται σε κάθε άφιξη πελάτη. Τα παπλώματα είναι πολύ μικρά. Ένας μεγάλοσωμος άνθρωπος σίγουρα δεν θα μπορεί να σκεπαστεί.

We so appreciated the I da Mitt owner/host! - Our host and his staff were wonderful and treated us to a delicious breakfast each day, even preparing our meal an hour early on the day of our departure. We actually didn't mind this, but the church bells chime loudly at 6am each morning in Hallstatt. So completely quiet mornings are not an option. Also, we were a bit surprised for the number of "day tourists" arriving by ferry and bus each day, so it was more crowded than anticipated during the day. But in the evenings, no problem get seated in a local restaurant.

• Roch (10/5): - As the proprietor, Tom, mentioned to us - I da mit means “in the middle”; a light hearted, efficient and accurate naming of the hotel which is situated overlooking Hallstatt’s main square. In an unexpected contrast to the traditional design of the facade and gasthaus, our recently remodeled room was a modern, efficient, innovative and welcoming retreat space. Our room featured comfortable beds, and a creative, attractive efficient shower and toilet area. Original traditional window openings and balcony in the sleeping area overlook the square. Breakfast included a traditional Austrian buffet with a hot egg dish of your choice. I da mit was a great place to launch our exploration of Hallstatt

The innkeeper was lovely in showing me the features of the room/property. The location is phenomenal - right in the heart of the village. I feel so thankful to have found this amazing property so that I could have the experience of exploring the town late in the evening and early morning without the crush of tourists. I have zero complaints about this property. It was beautiful, well taken care of and perfectly situated. And, the breakfast was amazing!

Owner is extremely helpful and willing to assist his clients in all ways possible… he’s truly a great person 3. Comfortable cozy room 4. Good breakfast 1. Be wary that if you have heavy luggages, the shuttle actually leaves you little away from the hotel and you will need to take your luggages on your own till the hotel 2. The comforter is little small in size and may not be enough to keep you warm at night

We found lots of hair on the bathroom and throughout the room from previous guests. There was also a lot of dust. The low light didn’t help either. If they improved the cleaning, it would be a nicer room.

• Christine (10/5): A wonderful couple of nights in Hallstatt - This is an excellent place to stay in Hallstatt. You are right in the centre of town surrounded by lovely inns and homes. It's like something out of a postcard. The whole building has been updated from top to bottom with very high standards and it was by far our most comfortable stay during our almost 3 weeks in Austria and Germany. The beds are incredibly comfy. The breakfast is excellent and during the afternoon/evening it becomes a little bar where everyone hangs out. Being able to take a glass of wine up to our room was a big bonus too. Alex was lots of fun to talk to and he was very helpful in providing us ideas on what to see and do while we were there for two nights. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The town is lovely after all of the day-trippers leave in the late afternoon/early evening and this is a perfect place to enjoy it.

• Nikki (10/5): Wow! Do it, and upgrade to balcony room! Worth it! - Wow. Can’t accurately convey how much we loved it. Gives you that magical feeling. 2 minutes from the ferry, next to the stream, below the waterfall, in the centre of the Christmas stalls. Yet still so peaceful and quaint. Can’t get better! We loved everything about it. Amazing location, super friendly staff, bar has a great atmosphere, decorated traditionally but modernised to feel super clean. The breakfast is basic but more than enough and what they offer is done well. If anyone is undecided and can, 100% recommend upgrading to the balcony suit room (room 4) that made it so special! The owners were so accommodating and went above and beyond. Nothing about I da mitt. In Hallstatt not all shop keepers and restaurant staff are as friendly as they are here. But we’d still return in a heartbeat.

• Jia Ying (10/5): Lovely, comfy stay in the heart of Hallstatt! - This was a lovely stay for my partner and I. We were welcomed very warmly by the man at the bar/reception downstairs, who showed us to our room. The room was lovely! It was very spacious (although with low beam ceilings, but that's what makes it so special :)), clean, with a great bed and covers (for winter), lounge chairs, a nice TV and everything you could possibly need for your stay. And we were right in the middle of Hallstatt's square, which was so convenient for us. Breakfast was amazing too, with a good selection and lovely staff (a lady) who was checking in regularly if we had everything we need. We would absolutely return if we visit Hallstatt again. Thank you!

Hosts were so welcoming and helpful. It felt like we were coming to stay with family. We had the room with the balcony and the view felt like we were in a hallmark movie. The most comfortable and enjoyable stay! The breakfast in the morning was absolutely spectacular!! We can't thank you enough for making our stay perfect! We loved this town so much!!
