- Carlos (9/5): Nice and cozy place! - Mariela is the owner and a very friendly host, clean basic room very quiet and silent in the night ! .
Perfect location , three blocks from San Martin St (main street ) and Maipu ( tourist information and combis terminal) .

Very good price for Ushuaia!
- Tomasz (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, just few blocks from the bus terminal and ferry port. Owner is really helpful, professional and very communicative. Perfect size of the room and really comfortable bed. Kitchen has all items you need. Casa Elena will be my next choice in Ushuaia when I will be back.
- Patrícia (4/5): I don't recommend this place. - The location is nice and Mariela gave me good tips about the city. If I was alone I would not want to stay here cause it is a house with nobody living there. But what I didn't like at all is that Mariela is so cheap. The toilet paper is the worst I've seen in my life, like the breakfast. It doesn't have enough and good pans. Just one cup. The pillow is horrible. I didn't sleep well there. The place is dirty. If you open the window you will understand what I'm talking about. And after I go, she sent me a whatsapp to charge me for the keychain (a piece of old wood) that I supposed lost (it falls. Take care! I put on the table) and she told me she was so nice to let me leave my baggage in the place after the check-out without charging me for that.
The shower never works well. It turns cold very quickly (maybe something she manages to do to not waiste water) and she asked me to open the tap to get hot and then to turn it off to the minimum. Now I know why.
So I will never ever come back to this place. I hate this cheapskate mentality.
