• GERALD (7/5): - The location was actually perfect period very simplistic modern and secure. A very beautiful space modern and simplistic. While confusing security setup with three different locks to get in from the street was a bit awkward at the unit door. A special notation if you're taking a cab you've got to be dropped off at either end because it is a pedestrian Street. Since we personally own rental units, having wine glasses or glasses of any kind in addition to clean x, microwave and a writing desk would be valuable asset. All and all we enjoyed our stay and would return! Did it meet our expectations
• Isis (9/5): Ruime, fijne kamer in een relaxte ligging! - Ruime kamer en heel schoon! De sloten met codes waren heel makkelijk te gebruiken en gaf ook een fijn gevoel! De badkamer was groot met een fijne douche!
• Judith (9/5): Geweldige ligging, comfortabele kamer en rustig! - De ligging in het hart van Gent is perfect! Overal terasjes en eetgelegenheid op korte loopafstand. In ons verblijf was niet merkbaar dat we midden in het centrum van een levendige stad verbleven: heel stil en rustig. Perfect dat we middels eem code al voor de inchecktijd onze spullen veilig konden achterlaten. (We hadden wel best tijd nodig om te ontdekken dat de toegang van de poort via een verborgen luikje/klepje boven de deurklink van de poort zat) Wij parkeerden onze auto in "Reep" garage € 44,50 voor circa 27uur parkeren. We hebbdn circa 6 minuten gelopen naar het hotel. Parkeergarage "Vrijdagmarkt" is dichter bij maar die was vol. Wij zaten in de roze kamer op de 2 etage met hele grote badkamer voorzien van ruime douche, bad en dubbele wastafel. Er was een waterkoker en koffiezetapparaat en minikoelkastje aanwezig en extra hoofdkussens in de kast. Het bed was zeer comfortabel. Ondanks dat we hebben genoten en deze accomodatie absoluut aanraden hebben we nog wat tips ter verbetering; De afzuiging in de badkamer maakt erg veel lawaai. We misten een aantal dingen: roerhoutjes of koffie-lepels om de suiker in de thee en koffie te mengen. Een afvalbakje in de kamer om prullen en koffiepads-theezakjes weg te gooien. Een kapstok in hal voor onze jas en naast de douche een haakje om de handdoek op te hangen. Tip voor de housekeepers: check of de koelkast leeg/schoon is

The apartment is clean and comfortable with everything you need and great blackout curtains. We could even see the river from our room. Despite being so close to everything, it was a quiet place to stay - the patio was a really nice touch. The shower is also amazing. Very limited equipment. There was no cutlery, only 2 cups for coffee, and only 1 wine glass found in the wardrobe. The coffee machine, fridge, and kettle were fine, though.

De accommodatie is prachtig gerenoveerd en heel ruim. Het bed is ook erg goed. Niets. De kabel van de waterkoker was wat te kort, maar dat is een klein detail.

• Geir (9/5): Great option for beautiful Ghent - It's a very cool place just off a bustling shopping street in one of the most beautiful areas of Ghent (and there are many beautiful areas there). Everything is well organized with codes for all doors and instructions are very clear. You never see anyone (sign of the times). The room is spacious and clean with a remarkable bathroom. I suggest cleaning up the trash in the little alley. It's probably not a lot of work but would make the surroundings so much nicer.

Yet it's a very quite space, located in a beautiful/scenic and well protected alley. It's the second time I booked this spot for a work trip so I experienced two different rooms and they were both very tidy, clean, comfortable and nicely designed. It's very easy that check-in and check-out are with entry codes so you're not depending on anyone for your arrival or departure. Nice bathroom, small fridge, very convenient. I don't have any remarks, for me it's the perfect place to stay when you're in Ghent.

The hosts are really organised and will give you all the necessary details you need about your stay. The place is clean, organised, you have everything you need for a couple of days.

• Aristotelis (5/5): Although the room is in a good location, appears to be relatively recently renovated, and has potential, it falls far sh - The room was comfortable, quiet, and in a good location. The biggest issue with the room was cleanliness. It is unacceptable not to carry out at least a proper cleanliness check of the bathroom. Beyond that, the room generally needed much more careful cleaning, as hair, stains on the sheets, a dirty fridge, dust, and visible cobwebs indicated careless and superficial cleaning. Regarding communication, the owner was absent throughout our stay, did not reply to the Booking chat (to the only question we asked), and showed no interest in addressing any needs. As for amenities, they were almost non-existent, and we had to buy everything ourselves, such as soap and toilet paper. The Wi-Fi connection was mediocre to poor, and the room is definitely not suitable for anything beyond sleeping and showering.

• Caroline (7/5): Heel goed maar verbeterpuntjes - Locatie is top! Het is ook een zeer ruim en mooi verzorgd appartement! Er waren weinig voorzieningen (glazen,…). Er was ook slechts 1 (zeer slap) hoofdkussen, geen extra kussens te vinden. Daarnaast hing er ook een rioolgeurtje in het appartement. Er kwam dan wel iemand van het personeel ontstopper in de lavabo’s doen, maar dan ging er een zeer chemische geur.

Lights complicated to work and the one in the toilet didn’t work at all. Despite saying there was tea and coffee there were only three teabags. No instructions for safe or heating.

• Marianna (9/5): - Tο δωμάτιο ήταν πάρα πολύ άνετο, ευρύχωρο, φωτεινό, καθαρό και πολύ μοντέρνο με πολύ ωραίο φωτισμό. Είχε σίδερο για ρούχα, βραστήρα και εσπρεσιέρα καθώς και ένα μικρό ψυγειάκι. Το γεγονός ότι βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της πόλης είναι ένα πολύ μεγάλο συν. Συγκεκριμένα βρίσκεται δίπλα σε έναν από τους πιο εμπορικούς δρόμους της Γάνδης χωρίς όμως να επηρεάζει την ηρεμία του καταλύμματος. Μείναμε τρομερά ικανοποιημένοι με την επιλογή του δωματίου. Είχαμε κλείσει το δωμάτιο που βρισκόταν στο ισόγειο και επομένως δεν γινόταν να αφήσουμε το παράθυρο ανοιχτό για λόγους ασφαλείας. Το παράθυρο βλέπει σε ένα μικρό δρομάκι πολύ ήσυχο και είναι με αμμοβολή, οπότε απέξω δεν φαίνεται το δωμάτιο. Ωστόσο αν υπάρχει διαθεσιμότητα να κλείσετε κάποιο δωμάτιο σε όροφο να το προτιμήσετε (να σημειωθεί ότι δεν υπάρχει ασανσέρ στο κατάλυμμα).

The apartment also offers the possibility of escaping the city for a small break in between your exploration. Nothing that is worth mentioning.

Op gelijkvloers voelt het wat "gesloten" ruimte .... misschien wat minder aangenaam als accomodatie met terras op het eerste verdiep.

• Karina (10/5): Zentraler geht’s nicht - tolles Zimmer - Das Gepettos liegt absolut zentral – zentraler geht’s wirklich nicht. Der kontaktlose Check-in funktioniert völlig reibungslos, alle nötigen Informationen bekommt man rechtzeitig zugeschickt. Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss war riesig, sodass wir sogar den Fahrradanhänger mit hineinnehmen konnten. Alternativ steht er auch sicher direkt vor dem Zimmer hinter dem Tor. Durch das Tor gelangt man direkt auf die Einkaufsstraße und ist mitten im Herzen von Gent. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, die Lage ist perfekt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – vielen Dank für diesen tollen Ort!

I chose it specifically after filtering "parking" on Booking, because I was traveling by car. However, it is in a pedestrian area and you cannot even reach it by car. So why would you list the facility as if it has a parking?? I could have chosen a different one and save the money of the public subterranean parking for the weekend. I received so many extremely long messages with instructions and recommendations, that I ended up asking a recap to chatgpt.
