• Tom (10/5): Prima en rustige locatie - Ruimte en rust Liever verse koffie gehad bij het ontbijt. En ook fruit en kaas.
• Michael (6/5): A Pleasant 1 bedroom Cottage, with a nice little courtyard great for 1 to 2 nights - It was clean, bed was fine and had a nice small private courtyard Shower had good pressue The power points were limited The kitchen bench was small and if you wanted to the Toaster and the jug there were not enough power points or space. Apart from Microwave no cooking options other than toaster and Jug There was no plug near the kitchen table, so note practical to use computer at table unless you charge it up first. Also if you charge from plus in kitchen you have to put the Jug and Toaster away. They couldn't help the weather which we found very cool and the tile floors were too cold to stand on without shoes. we stayed 4 nights so a little long to to have more options to cook

Very nice towels and toiletries Owners were unable to help with the TV when we stuggled to find programs and referred us to a brochure. Sofa could have been more comfortable. Lack of space to put food supplies and to prepare meals.

• Janet (9/5): Lovely, Secluded Getaway - Second time we've visited Gumnut Getaway & gave detailed review in Feb 2024. A lovely secluded place with a beautiful private garden, a separate bedroom (comfy bed) & and a good shower. All very clean & everything provided for. All facilities provided. Plenty of food provided for breakfast. Owners are very helpful & responsive. Easy access to Goolwa & surrounding areas. Good off-road parking. I highly recommend Gumtree Getaway (& also the Spitit of Coorong half-day cruise, which was winderful). Although daytime warm, early mornings very cool & probably would have welcomed some form of hearing in the bathroom

• Karren (9/5): Pleasant overnight stay - Peaceful, clean and tidy for overnight stay. Quiet location, free wifi had a work meeting online, clean and tidy
• Geraldine (10/5): Just whaat we wanted, quiet and comfortable. - Anything you wanted for a continental breakfast, crumpets, museli, cornflakes, milk, vegemite, honey, coffee bags, tea bags, plenty of nice crockery, toaster, small oven and plenty of kitchen utensils. Bathroom, nice towels and variety of cosmetic things in cupboard + hair dryer. Dining area had jigsaws, books, magazines, games and TV which had more things on it than we knew how to use. Bedroom side cupboards had bathrobes and drawers to put things. Location suited us as it was away from the busy part of the town and so quiet with lovely bird song in the mornings. We even saw a blue wren. Only thing we would have liked is a leaflet on how to use the TV. As we don't have a smart TV it took us a bit of time to work out.

• Janet (10/5): Delightful Well-Designed & Equiped Self-Contained Getaway with Garden & Parking - Delightful small cottage, with beautiful & peaceful secluded garden. Gumnut Getaway was tastefully & artistically decorated, with every amenity carefully thought about. Everything was spotlessly clean. Good bed & shower. We only stayed one night, but it would have been perfect for a longer stay if we had had time. The coastal path (Murray River path) is a short walk away. We enjoyed walking into Goolwa along the waterside for our evening meal - it was a 45 minute walk each way, but plenty of parking in the centre if prefer to drive - also easy off-road parking outside Gumnut. Mary & David provided good instructions for accessing the property & were quickly responsive to a query we had about the wifi - which worked fine, once we chose the correct domain! Own entrance to property. Plenty for breakfast food, plus tea, coffee, milk & biscuits provided. All good
• Geoffrey (9/5): Quiet hideaway - Felt quiet and a bit secluded Everything was done when we got there Sorry to say the free wifi was really poor. The shower screen was a bifold plastic.it was bent out of shape and wouldn't close properly and water was getting out on the bathroom floor

• Glen (10/5): Outstanding place to stay - This was a most excellent B&B. The whole place was very welcoming. You walked into a private courtyard with a fence covered with geraniums and other flowers which made the immediate surrounds very welcoming and very pleasurable to be surrounded by. There were birds and wildlife that visited the courtyards. The B&B was so very clean and fitted out in a way that made your stay extremely comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the lounge chair very comfortable and there was a table and chairs for meals and a small frig. Owners were prepared to include my particular allergies in the food provided and they seemed to be concerned to ensure you felt very welcome. Gumnut was a most excellent B&B and I would not hesitate to stay there again. Outstanding in every way. There was nothing to not like.
