• Van Graan (10/5): We had an excellent stay at AARN House and can highly recommend it. Jim is a wonderful host. - The AARN House is pretty close to the airport and easy to locate. We were pleasantly surprised when we were met at the front door by the host, Jim. His wonderful personality made us feel at home immediately. The room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Everything that we needed for our stay were in place. Jim prepared a very good breakfast for us in the morning. Furthermore, we need to express our sincere appreciation towards Jim for going out of his way to make sure that we knew the way to the shopping center where we could sort out our cellphone comms issues. We found everything quite satisfactory.

• Lisa (10/5): Gemütlicher und schöner Aufenthalt - Es war perfekt! Wir hatten ein gemütliches und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Jim war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns gut mit ihm unterhalten. Das Frühstück was Jim uns angerichtet hat war super. Der Pool bei der sommerlichen Hitze eine schöne Abkühlung. Wir können diese Unterkunft jedem nur empfehlen!
• Aleshanee (8/5): Lovely hosts. Quaint, comfortable, clean & as quiet as possible for being so close to the airport. - my stay was very brief. The host kindly drove me to the airport at 6:45am. I was desperate for a clean comfortable quiet place to rest and that's what I got. I was able to travel via train from the city and a bus connection to the accommodation. My stay was too brief to find anything unsatisfactory

• Sylvia (10/5): Außergewöhnlich! - Als ich zum zweiten Mal in das Aarn House B&B kam, war es für mich ein Gefühl wie nach Hause zu kommen. Ich wurde wieder sehr freundlich empfangen. Meinen Aufenthalt konnte ich wirklich genießen. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Park, in dem ich nach meiner Ankunft und einem langen Flug spazieren gehen konnte. Von Jim bekam ich zahlreiche Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Perth und Fremantle. An meinem Abreisetag brachte er mich zur Train Station Redcliffe, von dort konnte ich dann zum Airport fahren. Hilary und Jim sind liebe Gastgeber. Danke! Da fällt mir nichts ein!
• Sylvia (10/5): Ein sehr besonderer Aufenthalt - Jim und Hilary sind sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Ich wurde überaus freundlich empfangen und fühlte mich von Anfang an sehr wohl. Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und sauber, das Bett bequem. Das Frühstück wird sehr liebevoll angerichtet und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Als ich meinen Mietwagen abgeholt habe, wurde ich von Jim sogar zur Mietstation gefahren. Außerdem bekam ich zahlreiche Tipps für Ausflüge. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich noch einmal in Perth bin. Da fällt mir nichts ein.

The rooms were perfect and the breakfast that was offered the next morning was just great. We would have no hesitation in recommending Aarn house to anyone who needed an overnight stay or maybe longer, you will get good value for your money. Nothing specific springs to mind.

I was also impressed with the breakfast Jim made, he cooked eggs and warmed croissants while we made toast and ate cereal and fruit. The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious, and the communal lounge and kitchenette upstairs were a massive bonus you'd never get at a hotel.

• Laurie (10/5): Brilliant, convenient little place near airport - A lovely family home with such friendly hosts. A quirky bedroom full of memorabilia. Really comfy bed, fabulous breakfast and a ride to the airport in the morning. It was on the first floor, no lift so ask for a downstairs room if there are mobility issues. I wish I had known there were stairs as I had arrived after a long flight, was very stiff and have dodgy knees but it wasn't a deal breaker.
• Ida (1/5): Already said enough - As I had to get up at 3.30 am kitcken was locked so unable to get a coffee bfore I left the bedding & furnishing could do with a could do with a good clean the room & the establishment smelt musty & old as soon as I walked in the door hard to sleep in a room that doesnt smell fresh. When I tried to call to say I had to leave early & so no b/fast could she take somethind off the price of accomodation they hung up on me

• Chris (10/5): Fabulous guest house short drive to/from Perth airport - Very comfortable bed. Air conditioning in bedroom and guest lounge. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. In addition there is a comfortable guest lounge and a guest kitchen with a microwave. Breakfast described as continental and included coffee, fresh orange juice, fruit, yoghurt, lots of different cereal, toast, croissant and 1 or 2 eggs fried or scrambled. Wow!! We didn't use the swimming pool but it looked lovely and we were told that we were welcome to use it.

• Emily (10/5): Exceptional - We only stayed one night but the room was a lovely size for two adults and a toddler, with private generous bathroom. We had a dip in the pool which was delightful. There aren't many food choices locally for a Monday night but we only had to drive 10 minutes for some delicious Vietnamese. And we had a great sleep in the bed. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the warm breakfast due to an early flight. Hopefully next time!

Both were very tastefully furnished & fitted perfectly with the decor of the home. Jim (the host) was exceptionally helpful with his local knowledge & extremely hospitable. We spent longer over breakfast than we planned, but loved our enjoyable chats with Jim & Hilary. Jim would even drive us to local rail station & ensure we caught the correct bus to the city. Garage within walking distance for snacks or to refuel your rental car for return Would love to have used the pool area but the chairs did not look comfortable or inviting. A bit out of the way from any restaurants.

• Wilma (10/5): Exceptional - We received a very warm welcome from Jim who talked us through all we needed to know regarding facilities and local amenities. It was a very hot day and a dip in the beautiful pool revived us, the blossom in the tidy garden was beautiful and fragrant. Breakfast included several options, we had the opportunity to talk to both Jim abd Hilary who are a well travelled and interesting couple, we noted many of their suggestions both for Australia and other countries, we could have talked for hours but our next adventure beckoned. Nothing, despite the busy location near to the airport it was remarkably quiet at night.

Very helpful and homely feel. Bed and bathroom excellent. We enjoyed a very friendly welcome after a long drive from Esperance and Jim couldn’t have been more helpful- going above and beyond with airport transport. Just 5mins away by Uber. Uber past midnight was just about A$12 plus. House was also beautiful and clean. The rooms are on the 2nd floor so pack a smaller bag to bring up if you are just staying a night.
