• Jane (5/5): Disappointing for a BandB with lots of potential. - Burnbank is situated in beautiful surrounds. The breakfast room has a lovely view of the gardens and the common areas are in keeping with the era of the house. The breakfast was really bad. The bread was stale and the croissants in the fridge were 3 days old. There were no pods for the coffee only instant. The peanut butter was old and hard. The jam was in a dish in the fridge with a bit of glad wrap draped loosely over it and a spoon was still in the jam. There was no butter only margarine and even one of those sachets was off! There was no real milk only no fat milk or long life. The fruit was 2 apples and 2 pears which also looked like they had been in the fridge for weeks. The carpet in our room smelt musty, doggy(?) and the room was very dark.

• Margarita (5/5): - The garden Old is good as long as everything is clean, but the place does not smell clean, its organised but dirty, not what we expected. Breakfast very very poorly provided. Dishes on tables some had been sitting on table for a while. Windows in the rooms: fly screens dirty and partly open, allowing access to bugs, etc.. Swimming pool so dirty, no one can get in there was a machine in the water, maybe to clean the pool but there was no way one can get in.

Our room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The location is perfect, close to shops and amenities, and the property where my horse is agisted. I'm very happy that I discovered this gorgeous property and will most definitely be staying there again. There's nothing I didn't like. It is perfect.

They’ve been so welcoming and have gone above and beyond to make sure I’ve got everything I need for myself and my dog to be comfortable. Helpful, kind, approachable and respectful of the privacy of their guests. The property is drop-dead stunning, and walking into the estate feels like walking into the Victorian era, just with much better facilities! The views are spectacular, I particularly enjoyed having buffet breakfast in the sunroom in the mornings. Whole place is kept very clean, bedding is soft and comfortable, anything and everything you could need is readily available. Absolutely nothing.

The room I booked , wasn’t the room I booked , main light in bedroom didn’t work , mini fridge wasn’t and I couldn’t find the switch to turn it on , I didn’t ask , as I felt uncomfortable with the owner .( Barbara) wasn’t overly friendly, I tried to make conversation and it was like she couldn’t be bothered.
